Fra stasjonen gikk man rett inn i en verden av trafikk og biler som kunne v\u00e6rt hentet fra 1960-\u00e5rene &#8211; en tid da bilene fikk en mer dominerende plass i bybildene. Da kunne man b\u00e5de h\u00f8re og lukte biltrafikken &#8211; og bilene, de kom i mange farger.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nN\u00e5 skal det sies at \u00c5rnes er ikke et bilfiendtlig sted. Her finnes det rikelig med parkeringsmuligheter. Folk trenger bilen for \u00e5 komme seg rundt, for eksempel til n\u00e6rmeste togstasjon. Jeg f\u00e5r av og til et glimt av fine, gamle kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y n\u00e5r jeg ferdes omkring i Nes, men de st\u00e5r som regel parkert i private garasjer og g\u00e5rdstun. N\u00e5r eierne tar bilene med seg til Motordilla, kan alle ta dem n\u00e6rmere i \u00f8yesyn.
