Jeg sl\u00e5r en lastestropp rundt den nyinnkj\u00f8pte peisovnen f\u00f8r jeg setter meg inn i f\u00f8rerhuset og er ute p\u00e5 veien p\u00e5 null komma null.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Pickup er praktisk. <\/h3>\n<p>Jeg har l\u00e5nt en Isuzu D-Max double-cab med 4 d\u00f8rer. Varebil. Det ser ut som baksetet ligger foldet sammen under ei plate bak f\u00f8rersetet. Det lille innvendige varerommet virker overraskende praktisk \u00e5 utnytte. Ideelt for hundeiere, tenker jeg. Her er det plass til et par jakthunder, og litt utstyr.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nLasteplanet rommer en pall pluss diverse sm\u00e5saker. Ikke bare ideelt for \u00e5 hente en peisovn, men ogs\u00e5 for andre byggevarer eller utstyr som t\u00e5ler v\u00e6r og vind. Det fine med \u00e5pent plan, er at det er lett \u00e5 utnytte luftrommet i h\u00f8yden og bakover. Men det gjelder \u00e5 passe p\u00e5 h\u00f8yden. D-Max er 1,80 meter h\u00f8y. Den r\u00e5, h\u00f8rbare diesellyden, den vage styringen, kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y p\u00e5 ramme og h\u00f8y sittestilling gir ingen personbilf\u00f8lelse. Svingradiusen er som p\u00e5 en turbuss. P\u00e5 vei ned i et parkeringshus med rattet i fullt svingutslag, var det bare s\u00e5 vidt jeg ikke m\u00e5tte stanse og rygge for \u00e5 greie \u00e5 f\u00f8lge spiralen.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nJeg liker drivverket. Spesielt dreiemomentet. 400 Nm ved 1400 omdreininger fungerer glimrende med 5-trinns automat. P\u00e5 kj\u00f8ringen rundt i bygdene vestenfor Oslo fikk jeg inntrykk av at motoren gikk p\u00e5 tomgang hele tiden. Selv n\u00e5r jeg dro p\u00e5 for \u00e5 komme ut p\u00e5 motorveien, f\u00f8lte jeg ikke noe stress. Kreftene var faktisk i overkant av hva man kan forvente av en 2,5 liters turbodiesel p\u00e5 163 hester.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nIsuzu D-Max er en 4&#215;4 pickup, hvor man styrer hjuldriften elektronisk via et hjul p\u00e5 midtkonsollen. Man kan velge 2H, 4H og 4L, sistnevnte med lavserie. P\u00e5 sn\u00f8frie vinterveier kj\u00f8rte jeg p\u00e5 2H for \u00e5 spare drivstoff. Jeg er ikke sikker, men antar at firehjuls-driften p\u00e5 en s\u00e5nn bil involverer flere drev og akslinger som ikke bare stjeler kraft, men som ogs\u00e5 kanskje gj\u00f8r svingradiusen st\u00f8rre. Det er mulig jeg er litt gammeldags her, men ser ingen grunn til \u00e5 koble inn firehjulstrekken f\u00f8r jeg trenger den. Moderne traction control fanger opp eventuell hjulspinn p\u00e5 samme aksling &#8211; og fungerer som diffsperre. Jeg foretrekker pickup&#8217;er fremfor lukkede varebiler. Jeg synes det er lettere \u00e5 jobbe p\u00e5 et lasteplan enn inne i et lukket varerom. Dessuten synes jeg pickuper er t\u00f8ffere enn varebiler. Jeg liker setene. De er litt forml\u00f8se, men lett \u00e5 komme inn og ut av. Elektrisk justerbart f\u00f8rersete kledt i skinn gir snev av luksus.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nMen Isuzu D-max er langt i fra noen luksusbil. Instrumentpanelet ser billig ut. Infotainment-systemet med ber\u00f8ringsskjerm virker som det er kj\u00f8pt p\u00e5 Biltema. Pluss for navigasjon, men jeg synes det er litt fomlete og lite intuitiv \u00e5 betjene. Jeg synes det er naturlig \u00e5 sammenligne Isuzu D-Max med <a href=\"https:\/\/terjebjornstad.com\/no\/2016-ford-ranger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ford Ranger<\/strong><\/a>, som begge er produsert i asiatiske lavkost-land. Ford Ranger scorer full pott p\u00e5 beskyttelse av voksne og har dermed f\u00e5tt en stjerne mer enn D-max. Det er ikke p\u00e5vist noen sikkerhetsbrister i D-Max, men den gir generelt st\u00f8rre risiko for skader i kn\u00e6r og f\u00f8tter enn konkurrenten fra Ford. Resten av bryterne er intuitive.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Konklusjon<\/h3>\n<p>Ca 420 000 koster den omtalte D-max. Det er en p\u00e5kostet versjon med automat, automatisk klima og eljusterte skinnseter og bedliner. Det er ingen personbil, men kan fungere som et praktisk daglig kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y for hundeiere, jegere, friluftselskere, hytteeiere, &#8211; og selvf\u00f8lgelig alle som trenger en s\u00e5nn bil i yrket.
