De f\u00f8rste bilene ble konvertert p\u00e5 oppdrag fra Renault.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>F\u00e5 bilmerker har like lang historie som Renault. I 2027 skal de \u00e5pne d\u00f8rene til et stort museum p\u00e5 den nedlagte fabrikken i Flins, vel 40 km fra Paris. Renault eier en levende samling av klassiske og historiske kj\u00f8ret\u00f8yer. Nye kj\u00f8ret\u00f8yer legges til, mens andre tas ut av samlingen. I den forbindelse ble det nylig avholdt en auksjon, kalt <em>The Renault Icons<\/em>, hvor 180 objekter ble auksjonert bort. Den mest verdifulle kategorien var knyttet til Formel 1 med biler fra Renault Sport, Williams og Alpine. Den mest bisarre var prototyper og konseptbiler tidligere vist p\u00e5 bilutstillinger. Den gruppen som fanget min interesse, var <em>Retrofit<\/em>. De har spesialisert seg p\u00e5 \u00e5 konvertere <em>Citroen 2CV<\/em> og <em>M\u00e9hari<\/em> til elektrisk drift p\u00e5 bare 20 timer. Senere har Renault g\u00e5tt inn i et samarbeid med R-Fit for \u00e5 lage tilsvarende konverteringer for Renault R4 og R5. Ombyggings-settene til R-Fit holder vekt og motorkraft s\u00e5 n\u00e6r bilenes opprinnelige spesifikasjoner som mulig. Dermed kan bilene beholde sine opprinnelige understell, bremser og styring. Den elektriske motoren monteres langsstilt inn i eksisterende svinghjulhus med kraftoverf\u00f8ring via bilens originale girkasse og drivaksler. R-Fit\u2019s kontrollboks plasseres s\u00e5 over motoren, mens batteriene plasseres bak. Renault hadde da nylig g\u00e5tt inn som <em>premium partner<\/em> i arrangementet. De ombygde bilene egnet seg perfekt til form\u00e5let. Den nye elektriske R5 E-Tech var p\u00e5 det tidspunktet kun vist som konseptbil. Senere er noen av retrofit-bilene v\u00e6rt utstilt p\u00e5 blant annet <em>Epoqu\u2019Auto-messen<\/em> i Paris. I England opererer de med en pris fra 19.995 GBP inklusive avgifter. Til Norge vil det sannsynligvis l\u00f8nne seg \u00e5 kj\u00f8pe en ferdig restaurert og elektrifisert bil under MVA-grensen. De 3 Retrofit-bilene er hentet fra auksjonen hvor tilslagsprisene var \u20ac16.080 (gr\u00f8nn bil), \u20ac21.672 (gul bil) og \u20ac26.458 (hvit bil). Alle bilene ble restaurerte av Renault forut for 2022 da de ble bygget om av R-Fit.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nI tillegg til oppgitte priser m\u00e5 det betales 17% fransk MVA. Ved eksport kan man regne med \u00e5 f\u00e5 MVA refundert. Basert p\u00e5 dagens priser ville en import av den gr\u00f8nne bilen kostet 216.200 NOK inklusive norsk vrakpant, eksklusive eventuelle sal\u00e6rer.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Ny eller gammel?<\/h3>\n<p>En elektrifisert R5 fra 1980-tallet har en rekkevidde p\u00e5 80 km. En ny Renault R5 E-Tech har en rekkevidde p\u00e5 308 km for short range og 411 for long range. Nye elektriske R5 er ogs\u00e5 minst en klasse st\u00f8rre enn veteranen og spekket med sikkerhetsutstyr som ikke var vanlig for over 40 \u00e5r siden. Det finnes alts\u00e5 ingen rasjonell grunn til \u00e5 kj\u00f8pe en gammel R5 uansett om den er elektrifisert eller ikke.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nEn veteranbil velges normalt ikke p\u00e5 grunn av praktiske egenskaper, ei heller ikke p\u00e5 grunn av \u00f8konomi. \u00c5 bytte ut drivverket, er for mange som \u00e5 bytte ut bilens sjel. Likevel kan det gj\u00f8re bilen mer anvendelig, mer praktisk og mindre krevende. Ingen oljeskvetter i garasjen, ingen startproblemer, ingen oljeskift eller stifter og plugger som m\u00e5 byttes, ingen vinterkonservering. Jeg synes imidlertid at brukergrensesnittet &#8211; instrumentpanelet med knapper og hendler er rotete plassert.
