Jeg poster flere av hennes bilder p\u00e5 min Instagram-konto. Hun har et godt \u00f8ye for \u00e5 oppdage fine biler. Bildene hun viste meg denne gangen, var av en hvit 2011 Saab 9-3. Den var ikke fryktelig gammel, ei heller spesielt sjelden og langt ifra eksklusiv. Men i hennes \u00f8yne var bilen spesiell fordi det var en Saab.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDet som gj\u00f8r \u00abhennes\u00bb bil spesiell, er at det er en av de siste Saab\u2019ene som ble produsert &#8211; bare f\u00e5 m\u00e5neder f\u00f8r produksjonen opph\u00f8rte for godt. If\u00f8lge kj\u00f8ret\u00f8yregisteret har bilen hatt samme eier siden ny. Mange Saab-eiere var sv\u00e6rt lojale til bilmerket. B\u00e5de min far og svigerfar tilh\u00f8rte denne gruppen av bileiere. Kan lojale Saab-eiere holde liv i bilmerket? Bilene er kjent for \u00e5 vare lenge \u2013 faktisk mer enn 20 \u00e5r.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nSaab er popul\u00e6re veteranbiler over hele verden. Men modellene som utvilsomt fremst\u00e5r som bevaringsverdige i dag, er Saab 92, 93, 96, 99 og f\u00f8rste serie av 900 frem til 1993. De neste modellene i klassikernes rekker er Saab 9000 og den nye generasjonen av 900-serien som ble designet av <em>Einar Hareide<\/em> &#8211; spesielt varianten med 3 d\u00f8rer. De gikk derfor inn i et strategisk samarbeid med Fiat. M\u00e5let var \u00e5 utvikle en stor bilmodell i et joint venture mellom 4 forskjellige bilprodusenter \u2013 Fiat, Lancia, Saab og Alfa Romeo. Et ledd i dette samarbeidet var \u00e5 selge <em>Saab Lancia 600<\/em> som etterf\u00f8lger etter Saab 96.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDet var ingen ringere enn <em>Giorgetto Giugiaro<\/em> som fikk i oppdrag \u00e5 utvikle de 4 nye bilmodellene p\u00e5 felles plattform. Til tross for italiensk innflytelse, fremsto 9000 som en ekte Saab. Den ble lansert i 1984 som en combi-coup\u00e9 med 2 liter Saab turbo-motor.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nSaab 9000 ble produsert fra 1984 (som \u00e5rsmodell 1985) til 1998 i tre forskjellige utf\u00f8relser.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>9000 CC (Combi Coup\u00e9).<\/li>\n<li>9000 CD (Corps Diplomatique) sedan.<\/li>\n<li>9000 CS (Combi Sedan) et nytt combi-coup\u00e9 design som visuelt lignet p\u00e5 en sedan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nFra \u00e5rsmodell 1991 fikk bilene en skr\u00e5stilt front og fra \u00e5rsmodell 1993 et helt nytt, mer lavbygd frontparti.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<figure Det ble ikke laget noen combi-coupe. Motorene var enten basert p\u00e5 <em>Ecotec<\/em> bensin fra GM eller dieselmotorer fra Fiats <em>MultiJet<\/em> serie. Modellen fikk en facelift i 2008 med blant annet endringer i fronten og hvite baklys. Det er for tidlig \u00e5 kalle disse bilene for klassikere. Mange vil kanskje hevde at de er for mye preget av Opel Vectra fra samme tidsperiode. Men hvis man stiller en 2011 Opel Vectra opp ved siden av en Saab 9-3, tror jeg de aller fleste vil peke ut Saab&#8217;en som en fremtidig klassiker.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nUansett kommer de aller siste Saab-modellene, som 9-3 fra siste modell\u00e5r og 9-5 NG (ny generasjon), til \u00e5 v\u00e6re utstilt p\u00e5 bilmuseer om noen ti\u00e5r.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Jakten p\u00e5 det som preget Saab<\/h3>\n<p>Saab hadde ikke enerett p\u00e5 &laquo;combi-coup\u00e9&raquo; og &laquo;turbo&raquo;, men begge betegnelsene ble innf\u00f8rt av Saab. Lydbildet av en 2-takter, V4 eller den lune, raspende lyden av 2-litersmotoren med opphav hos Triumph gir assosiasjoner til Saab.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nNoen vil kanskje si at Saab mistet sine s\u00e6rpreg etter at GM overtok. Det samme mente mange da Saab dukket opp i Lancia-kl\u00e6r. Faktum er vel at Saab ikke ville overlevd p\u00e5 egne ben. Da ville portene bli lukket mye tidligere.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nSaab var et bilmerke som til det siste appellerte til bilkj\u00f8pere som \u00f8nsket seg noe spesielt og som kanskje hadde gode minner om Saab. Hvorvidt en bilmodell blir regnet som klassiker handler like mye om irrasjonelle f\u00f8lelser, entusiasme og merkelojalitet.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDet er ikke alltid de beste bilene som blir
