En til\u00e5rskommen motor som krever h\u00f8ye turtall, og som leverer dvask ytelse, h\u00f8yt st\u00f8yniv\u00e5 og h\u00f8yt bensinforbruk, bringer tankene tilbake til 90-tallet. Ser vi gjennom fingrene p\u00e5 motoren, finner vi egentlig en ganske allright bil.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Look-and-Feel<\/h3>\n<p>Astra gj\u00f8r seg godt i hvitt &#8211; Summit White eller Sn\u00f8hvit. 17 tommers lettmetallsfelger kler bilen. Sammen med digitalt kj\u00f8relys og t\u00e5kelys aner vi en kampanjemodell. Astra b\u00e6rer preg av \u00e5 v\u00e6re en tysk bil, b\u00e5de fra utsiden og bak rattet. Bilen virker solid og sikker. Premiumf\u00f8lelsen forsvant imidlertid straks vi satte oss inn. To grelle orange displayer skriker mot deg at dette er billig. Manglende armlene og flate standardseter trekker ogs\u00e5 ned i look-and-feel kategorien. Jeg trekker ogs\u00e5 for sammensuriet av knapper p\u00e5 dashbordets midtre del. Den m\u00e5 ha dugelig med turtall for \u00e5 trekke. Den st\u00f8yer. Jeg legger inn femte gir allerede ved 60 km\/t. Da jeg kommer til 80 km\/t f\u00e5r jeg en intens lyst til \u00e5 gire opp, &#8211; men det finnes ingen flere gir! Med denne motoren f\u00e5r du best trekkraft n\u00e5r turtallet runder 4000. Da er motorst\u00f8yen p\u00e5trengende. Lenger nede p\u00e5 turtallskurven er det s\u00f8rgelig lite \u00e5 hente. Jeg opplever motoren som s\u00e6rdeles \u00absurrig\u00bb for \u00e5 bruke et svenskt uttrykk. Men virkeligheten er likevel ikke s\u00e5 ille. P\u00e5 3000 omdreininger i toppgir kj\u00f8rer vi tross alt i 109 km\/t. Jeg f\u00e5r dessuten\u00a0et bedre inntrykk av motoren i hastigheter fra 120. Bilen f\u00f8les sv\u00e6rt trygg i motorveihastigheter, &#8211; og der gir den faktisk litt kj\u00f8reglede.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nSett bort fra motoren, er bilen god \u00e5 kj\u00f8re. Hjuloppheng, styring og bremser er slik jeg forventer i en tysk bil.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nEt par ord om motoren i testbilen. EcoTec-motoren yter 115 hestekrefter og har VVT-teknologi (variable ventil\u00e5pninger). I Norge er denne motoren tatt ut av prislistene. Derimot er det motoriseringen i innstegsmodellene i Sverige og p\u00e5 kontinentet. I Norge tilbys for tiden kun et sv\u00e6rt begrenset motorutvalg. Den tilbyr en god balanse mellom kj\u00f8reglede og komfort. Setene i testbilen er ikke like gode som sportsetene, men duger bra for meg. En storvokst baksetepassasjerer klaget p\u00e5 sittestillingen i baksetet. Modellinjen Active leveres med standard seteprofiler, men med et tykkere setetrekk som virket veldig slitesterkt. Jeg anbefaler \u00e5 legge noen kroner ekstra for \u00e5 oppgradere til sportsseter. I samme slengen vil jeg anbefale \u00e5 oppgradere infotainment-avdelingen. Klimaanlegget med to soner fungerer imidlertid bra.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDen omtalte motorst\u00f8yen i norske hastigheter trekker poengene noe ned.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Plass<\/h3>\n<p>P\u00e5 grunn av Astras lange akselavstand blir lengden i kupeen meget god. P\u00e5 h\u00f8yde med en klasse over. Innvendig f\u00f8les det som om man befinner seg i en mellomklassebil.\u00a0 Bagasjerommet er imidlertid gjennomsnittlig for klassen. Det har dobbelt bunn der et deksel kan foldes inn, eller eventuelt tas helt ut.\u00a0Astra som stasjonsvogn eller 4-d\u00f8rs sedanutgave tilbyr bagasjeplass for barnefamilier.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Sikkerhet<\/h3>\n<p>A-stolpene er p\u00e5 typisk Opel-vis kraftige og dominerende. Jeg har aldri p\u00e5 noe tidspunkt f\u00f8lt at de reduserer sikten. Jeg tror det er viktig \u00e5 tilpasse sitteh\u00f8yden slik at man ikke sitter for lavt. De tykke stolpene gir imidlertid en f\u00f8lelse av sitte i et solid bur &#8211; alts\u00e5 en sikkerhetsf\u00f8lelse.\u00a0 Alt relevant sikkerhetsutstyr er p\u00e5 plass. Regn med noe h\u00f8yere verditap enn bestselgerne fra Volkswagen og Toyota.\u00a0Den relativt lave poenggivningen skyldes det h\u00f8ye bensinforbruket testmodellen hadde. P\u00e5 papiret skal det v\u00e6re 0,63 liter pr km med blandet kj\u00f8ring, men opplevd forbruk p\u00e5 hovedsaklig motorvei var h\u00f8yere. Mye h\u00f8yere. Derfor har jeg sjekket med Astra-eieres brukererfaringer p\u00e5 nettet.
