En Renault Alpine A110 og en rallyrigget Alfa Romeo GTV.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Et rally oppkalt etter vinden som bl\u00e5ser mellom fjellene.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Jeg var til stede da 60 deltakerbiler stilte opp utenfor kasinoet ved den lille franske Middelhavsbyen Saint Cyprien forut for det 12. Tramontane Classic Rallye. Etter at 60 biler var stilt opp og godkjent av de tekniske inspekt\u00f8rene, var det tid for bespisning og briefing av deltakerne. Det var satt en grense p\u00e5 60 biler. Siden l\u00f8pet skjer p\u00e5 vanlige landeveier, m\u00e5 antall deltakere begrenses for at \u00f8vrig trafikk ikke skal bli belastet. F\u00f8rste etappe var p\u00e5 ikke mindre enn 20 mil en sen h\u00f8stlig l\u00f8rdagskveld. Etter et innlagt stopp for frokost, returnerer deltakerne til kasinoet ved Saint Cyprien rundt ett-tiden dagen etter.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nEt klassisk rally i Frankrike handler ikke bare om biler. Tramontane Classic Rallye handler ogs\u00e5 om sosialt samv\u00e6r og opplevelser. Bilene er ikke bare til utstilling. De blir kj\u00f8rt p\u00e5 arrangementer som dette. Flere biler b\u00e6rer preg av \u00e5 ha v\u00e6rt med i tidligere l\u00f8p. I dette selskapet er litt steinsprut p\u00e5 fronten bare dekorativt. Det er et tegn p\u00e5 at bilene er kj\u00f8rt med. Alt for mange klassikere og veteranbiler blir st\u00e5ende i garasjen.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nFor en bilentusiast, som meg, var dette som julaften. Jeg lot meg begeistre av treffets to Renault Alpine A110, &#8211; etter min mening verdens vakreste sportsbil med sitt ultralette glassfiberkarosseri og hekkmotor hentet fra Renaults personbilprogram. Det sies at noen av dem er trimmet til over 200 HK.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nJeg lot meg ogs\u00e5 fascinere av Sunbeam Rapier som kom brummende med herlig motorlyd. N\u00e5r bilene ankommer, kan man fornemme at noen av dem er litt vanskelige \u00e5 kj\u00f8re i lave hastigheter, dels p\u00e5 grunn av trimmede motorer, dels som f\u00f8lge av lang tid uten \u00e5 ha v\u00e6rt i bruk. Sunbeam&#8217;en gikk som en flunkende ny bil. Og n\u00e5r jeg tenker etter, har denne modellen v\u00e6rt med i Rally Monte Carlo s\u00e5 lenge jeg kan huske. Tramontane er nesten som et Rallye Monte Carlo i miniatyr.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nJeg fikk dessverre ikke overv\u00e6re starten av l\u00f8pet, fordi jeg m\u00e5tte begi meg videre til en middagsavtale 45 minutter unna, &#8211; langs de samme veiene som l\u00f8pet skulle g\u00e5.
