Foto: Mazda<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>I jakten p\u00e5 kj\u00f8pere er det viktig for bilprodusentene \u00e5 skape sin unike stil, noe man fester seg ved. Mazdas nye formspr\u00e5k handler om utformingen av fronten. Du skal kjenne igjen en Mazda n\u00e5r den dukker opp i sladrespeilet. Mazda CX-5 fikk denne grillen, nye Mazda 6 og n\u00e5 &#8211; Mazda 3. Da jeg f\u00f8rste gang stiftet bekjentskap med CX-5, s\u00e5 jeg den bakfra og fra siden. Mitt inntrykk var positivt helt til jeg s\u00e5 fronten. Da rystet jeg p\u00e5 hodet og tenkte: N\u00e5 har jammen Walt Disney Company begynt med bildesign! Jeg forst\u00e5r at designeren har tenkt uni-frame grill, litt aggressiv, men samtidig snill.<\/p>\n<p>Dessverre ble det bare \u00abzoom-zoom\u00bb.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Bare snille biler?<\/h3>\n<p>\u00c5 utforme biler med personlighet, gj\u00f8r de snillere. De blir mer humane, og lik dyr. Peugeot har lenge utformet biler med klare assosiasjoner til l\u00f8ver og andre kattedyr. Det er vel allment kjent i bilbransjen at Peugeots l\u00f8ve-design ikke var noen kjempestor suksess.<\/p>\n<p>Ved \u00e5 bruke slagordet \u00abzoom-zoom\u00bb \u00f8nsker Mazda \u00e5 gi inntrykk av at Mazda er snillere enn andre biler, &#8211; kanskje de henvender seg til spesielt snille eiere, eller eiere som gjerne vil fremst\u00e5 som snille. Jeg har sans for det. Men n\u00e5r noen synes at man samtidig t\u00f8yer det snille uttrykket litt, for \u00e5 gj\u00f8re det t\u00f8ffere, blir det stilige borte, og man ender opp med noe som fremst\u00e5r som smakl\u00f8st, &#8211; en tanke mot det vulg\u00e6re. De nye Mazdaene har et t\u00f8ft over-all formspr\u00e5k. Det er bare grillen som f\u00e5r det hele til \u00e5 bikke over mot det talentl\u00f8se.<\/p>\n<p>Jeg har redesignet fronten p\u00e5 Mazda 3, slik at den gj\u00f8res mer anonym. Ved \u00e5 tone ned uttrykket i grillen, kommer den \u00f8vrige utformingen av bilen bedre frem. Da synes jeg den fremst\u00e5r som stilig, t\u00f8ff og en tanke snill. Det var bare wankelmotorene som gjorde seg fortjent til den t\u00f8ffe grillen. Min 1977 stasjonsvogn i signalfargen Skyish Blue delte 1300-motoren med 323 og var med sine 65 hestekrefter ingen racer langs landeveien.
