Vakrest av dem alle er 2-d\u00f8rs coup\u00e9, dernest 3-d\u00f8rs hatchback. Civic som 4-d\u00f8rs sedan, ser ikke like moderne ut.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Etter 20 \u00e5r vet man mye om bilens kvalitet. De britiskproduserte Civic&#8217;ene fikk mange venner, fordi bilene virket en halv klasse st\u00f8rre enn de japanske, og kunne f\u00e5s b\u00e5de som 5-d\u00f8rs kombicoup\u00e9 og stasjonsvogn. Dessuten var de bedre utstyrt. Men i dag finnes det knapt noen igjen p\u00e5 veien p\u00e5 grunn av rust.<\/p>\n<p>Japanske Civic&#8217;er (1996-2000) er fremdeles et noks\u00e5 vanlig syn langs veien. Nesten alle har litt overflaterust i overgangen mellom bakskjerm, hjulbue og st\u00f8tfanger. Det er dessuten ikke uvanlig med rustangrep i bakre hjulbuer og under d\u00f8rene. Den g\u00e5r under tilnavnet &laquo;Bulkisen&raquo; p\u00e5 grunn av alle parkeringsbulkene som er blitt p\u00e5f\u00f8rt av sj\u00f8desl\u00f8s ungdom. Det er en amerikansk versjon, produsert i Toronto, Kanada. De amerikanske Civic&#8217;ene fikk grundigere galvanisering, og taklet rust bedre enn sine japanske slektninger. Basismotoren i amerikanske Civic&#8217;er er en 1,6 liters SOHC motor med 16 ventiler og 106 HK. Dreiemoment p\u00e5 beskjedne 103 Nm ved 4600 omdreininger. Den blir fremdeles hyppig omsatt som basistransport til folk som trenger rimelig og p\u00e5litelig transport. Nesten alle har rundet 100 000 miles b\u00e5de 1 og 2 ganger. I Norge tok import\u00f8ren, Skotvedt, inn 2 amerikanske modeller, &#8211; 2 d\u00f8rs coup\u00e9versjon og f\u00f8rste generasjon HR-V som var basert p\u00e5 Civic 6. Likevel f\u00f8les ikke motoren spesielt sportslig, da kreftene leveres ganske h\u00f8yt oppe p\u00e5 turtallsskalaen. Akselerasjoner mellom 60 til 80 km\/t gj\u00f8res kjappest unna p\u00e5 2. giret. Likevel beh\u00f8ver man sjelden \u00e5 presse motoren. Derfor bruker bilen utrolig lite bensin.<\/p>\n<p>Den lave sittestillingen gir f\u00f8lelsen av \u00e5 sitte tett p\u00e5 veibanen. Man f\u00e5r litt gocart-f\u00f8lelse. Litt primitivt i forhold til moderne biler. Du merker veldig godt hva hjulene gj\u00f8r gjennom rattet. Dessuten slipper understellet inn mye lyd i kupeen n\u00e5r det jobber. Likevel er bilen overraskende st\u00f8ysvak i fart. Gocart-f\u00f8lelsen er til stede n\u00e5r man legger bilen hardt inn i svingene. De t\u00e5ler h\u00f8ye kj\u00f8relengder. Skulle du finne en bil med 100 000 km p\u00e5 telleren og lite rust, har du en venn i mange \u00e5r som du kan kj\u00f8re mange tusen kilometer med. Civic 6 er lett \u00e5 mekke p\u00e5, og mange eksemplarer kan nok v\u00e6re tuklet med av unge, overivrige og ukyndige mekanikere. Unng\u00e5 biler med h\u00f8y plastfaktor i form av spoilere og lignende, spesielt hvis arbeidet ikke er proft utf\u00f8rt. \u00d8nsker du et moro-prosjekt, er Civic 6 et takknemlig objekt, ikke minst p\u00e5 grunn av de mange customdelene som er \u00e5 f\u00e5 kj\u00f8pt.<\/p>\n<p>Hvis du er p\u00e5 utkikk etter Honda Civic under 30 000, har du ogs\u00e5 r\u00e5d til Civic 7 (2001-2006). Det er ingen d\u00e5rlig bil, men er kjent for flere sm\u00e5problemer enn forgjengeren, spesielt biler fra 2001-2002.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>I Terjes biler vil det tidvis dukke opp biler under 30 000. Hvorfor 30 000? Det er en prisgrense alle har r\u00e5d til, uten \u00e5 sette g\u00e5rd og grunn i pant. Har du lyst, har du lov. Men husk at selv om prisene er lave, beh\u00f8ver ikke bilene \u00e5 v\u00e6re kjedelige eller politisk korrekte. Tvert i mot.
