Passe stor familiebil med gode kj\u00f8reegenskaper, mye p\u00e5 grunn av at den veier mindre enn  elektriske biler.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Hittil i \u00e5r er listen over de 20 mest solgte bilmodellene dominert av elektriske modeller. Unntaket er Toyotas hybrid-modeller med Corolla i teten. Utvalget av biler med forbrenningsmotorer forsvinner som f\u00f8lge av at de straffes med avgifter. Da f\u00e5r man mindre bil for pengene. Prismessig konkurrerer Corolla Cross derfor med elektriske biler i klassen over, som Volkswagen ID.4 GTX. Det skal vi komme tilbake til senere.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nCorolla Cross er en mindre versjon av Toyota RAV4. Den er utstyrt med tre motorer &#8211; \u00e9n 2,0 liters bensinmotor p\u00e5 152 hk og to elmotorer. Den ene elmotoren er en del av hybrid-systemet og sitter integrert i girkassa. Den andre sitter p\u00e5 bakakselen for \u00e5 betjene firehjuls-systemet <em>e-Four<\/em>. Total kraft for alle motorene er mer enn nok. 197 hk gj\u00f8r at man kan akselerere fra 0-100 km\/t p\u00e5 mellom 7 og 8 sekunder.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nSammenlignet med RAV4 har Corolla Cross et renere design hvor linjene flyter mer harmonisk. Likevel fremst\u00e5r v\u00e5r bil utvilsomt som en ekte SUV &#8211; ikke bare en h\u00f8ybygd Corolla. Oppstilt ved siden av hverandre, ser man klart forskjellene. I forhold til Corolla Touring Sports (stasjonsvogna) ser man at SUV&#8217;en har kortere akselavstand og kortere lengde. Den har ogs\u00e5 mindre bagasjerom enn stasjonsvognen. Likevel gir Cross inntrykk av \u00e5 v\u00e6re en st\u00f8rre og mer solid bygget bil. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_73384\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-73384\" &#8211; at Corolla Cross virkelig er mer solid bygget enn standard Corolla. Bakkeklaringen er iallfall 2,5 cm h\u00f8yere, og den kantede fronten, de tykke A-stolpene og de store speilene gir ekte SUV-f\u00f8lelse. Med det elektronisk styrte 4-hjulstrekket er jeg sikker p\u00e5 at man kommer seg trygt opp den siste bakken om vinteren f\u00f8r br\u00f8ytebilen har kj\u00f8rt.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Stor nok som familiebil?<\/h3>\n<p>For enkelte kan bilene aldri bli store nok. Jeg synes man f\u00e5r mye plass innenfor kompakte m\u00e5l, samt at bilen ser st\u00f8rre ut enn den faktisk er. Med en total lengde p\u00e5 4,45 meter tilh\u00f8rer bilen C segmentet (&laquo;Golf-klassen&raquo;). Den st\u00f8rste begrensningen for de fleste, vil nok v\u00e6re bagasjerommets st\u00f8rrelse. Det rommer 394 liter opp til bagasje-skjuleren. Her kan man ogs\u00e5 utnytte plassen i h\u00f8yden ved for eksempel ved \u00e5 frakte kofferter st\u00e5ende. Plassforholdene i kupeen mellom seteradene kan fungere fint for en vanlig familie p\u00e5 4-5 personer. Vi kj\u00f8rte dit for \u00e5 g\u00e5 p\u00e5 &laquo;stolpejakt&raquo;. Det er vandringsruter som tar oss rundt p\u00e5 stier og veier vi neppe hadde funnet p\u00e5 egen h\u00e5nd. Og etter turen sitter vi igjen med fine inntrykk av byen som i \u00e5r fyller 400 \u00e5r. Kona mi sine forfedre jobbet i s\u00f8lvgruvene og levde i byen. Hennes mormor bodde her som jente og m\u00e5tte drive kuene fra g\u00e5rdsrommet inne i byen over det travle torget til et jorde utenfor &#8211; under tilsyn og latter fra byens eldste menn.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Inne i bilen<\/h3>\n<p>Det er lett \u00e5 finne seg til rette i Toyota&#8217;en. Det meste virker jo identisk med standard Corolla. Sammenlignet med de elektriske  bilene jeg har kj\u00f8rt i det siste, f\u00f8les dashbordet i Corolla utdatert. Dagens biler har frittst\u00e5ende flatskjermer, ikke konvensjonelle, polstrede instrument-clustere. Jeg innser at det handler mer om <em>design<\/em> enn funksjonalitet. De spinkle hendlene for seteinnstilling virker billige. Innstillingen er ikke trinnl\u00f8s, men den har elektrisk korsryggst\u00f8tte og stolene er behagelige med god sidest\u00f8tte. Lydniv\u00e5et er lavt. Man kan praktisk talt ikke h\u00f8re motoren. Men til tross for det lave st\u00f8yniv\u00e5et, m\u00e5tte vi heve stemmene mye for \u00e5 snakke med hverandre. Lyden fra radioen forsvant ogs\u00e5 i d\u00e5rlig akustikk. Akustikk og lydbilde er egenskaper som skiller premiumbiler fra vanlige biler, &#8211; og Corolla er ingen premiumbil.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">P\u00e5 veien<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg nevnte innledningsvis at Toyota Corolla Cross selges til samme pris som Volkswagen ID.4 GTX og dermed kan regnes som konkurrenter. Ett omr\u00e5de som Corolla Cross kan hevde seg, er kj\u00f8reglede p\u00e5 landeveier. Batteribiler som ID.4 (og flere) veier gjerne 500 kg mer enn Corolla Cross. Det &#8211; og innebygde spareprogram som skal \u00f8ke rekkevidden &#8211; kan bidra til \u00e5 kutte momentet i motoren(e) p\u00e5 ugunstige tidspunkt. Corolla Cross er mer underholdende \u00e5 kj\u00f8re p\u00e5 landeveier. Man merker det i  vanlige rundkj\u00f8ringer. Slipp opp gass, legg bilen inn i svingen og akselerer ut &#8211; s\u00e5 merker man det fine samspillet mellom bil og f\u00f8rer &#8211; akkurat som bilkj\u00f8ring skal v\u00e6re.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nSkal man f\u00f8le alle de 197 hestekreftene, trenger man \u00e5 skifte til kj\u00f8remodus Sport, skj\u00f8nt det er ikke n\u00f8dvendig til vanlig kj\u00f8ring. Ogs\u00e5 i Normal modus responderer hybrid-drivverket raskt og leverer et godt bunndrag opp Lierbakkene og andre steder. Jeg har tidligere klaget over at de f\u00f8rste bilene med Toyotas hybrid-drivverk helt umotivert kunne \u00f8ke turtallet p\u00e5 motoren som om drivverket ikke var koblet til hjulene. Oppgitt forbruk for kombinert kj\u00f8ring er 0,51 &#8211; 0,56 liter\/10km. V\u00e5r tur foregikk p\u00e5 en varm sommerdag med innetemperatur p\u00e5 22 grader, p\u00e5 gode veier mellom 80 og 100 km\/t og delvis p\u00e5 cruise control uten fokus p\u00e5 forbruk. Da vi tidligere testet den st\u00f8rre Toyota RAV4, m\u00e5lte vi et forbruk p\u00e5 bare 0,57 liter\/10km over en  kort motorvei-strekning. Jeg er sikker p\u00e5 at ogs\u00e5 Corolla Cross kan komme ned p\u00e5 samme niv\u00e5.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Konklusjon<\/h3>\n<p>Hvis du bor i by og m\u00e5 parkere p\u00e5 gaten, kan elektrisk bil by p\u00e5 praktiske problemer. Corolla Cross egner seg godt i et urbant milj\u00f8. Den er stor nok til \u00e5 v\u00e6re familiebil, samtidig lett \u00e5 man\u00f8vrere og parkere. Jeg vil ogs\u00e5 fremheve at den er morsommere \u00e5 kj\u00f8re enn mange popul\u00e6re elektriske familiebiler, hovedsakelig p\u00e5 grunn av sin lavere vekt. Den er for \u00f8vrig ogs\u00e5 like rask fra stillest\u00e5ende som elektriske biler.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nEt irriterende trekk ved bilen er den d\u00e5rlige akustikken i kupeen som gj\u00f8r det vanskelig \u00e5 koseprate mens man kj\u00f8rer. La meg ogs\u00e5 nevne at if\u00f8lge vognkortet er tillatt tilhenger-vekt kun 750 kg b\u00e5de for bremset og ubremset tilhenger.
