Han forsto tidlig at det m\u00e5tte gj\u00f8res store forbedringer p\u00e5 understellet. Etter kontinuerlige forbedringer, bygger det familieeide selskapet n\u00e5 biler med veigrep som f\u00e5 gatelovlige biler kan overg\u00e5. I superbiler som dette, er veigrep alfa omega. Jeg vet ikke om andre bilprodusenter som m\u00e5ler maksimal sideveis G-kraft i svingene, men det gj\u00f8r i hvert fall Donkervoort. Inntil nylig hadde de rekorden p\u00e5 2,15 G m\u00e5lt i en Donkervoort F22. Men like f\u00f8r jul satte de ny rekord p\u00e5 2,3 G i en umodifisert F22. Videre er hele karosseriet gjort i karbonfiber over st\u00e5lr\u00f8rsramme. Bilene leveres med justerbare, adaptive og aktive st\u00f8tdempere fra <em>Tractive<\/em>, justerbar traction control, og Race ABS for de som vil ha det. Motoren er en trimmet utgave av Audis 2,5 liters rekkefemmer med turbo &#8211; av samme type som sitter i Audi RS3. Donkervoort har f\u00e5tt hjelp av ABT til \u00e5 hente ut 500 hk som sendes til bakhjulene via en 5-trinns manuell Tremec TKX girkasse og Torsen differensialbrems. Med bruk av sosiale medier holder eierne kontakt med hverandre, og hvert \u00e5r arrangeres det felles turer. \u00c9n av disse kalles <em>Donkervoort Ambassador Tour<\/em> som i fjor gikk til den pittoreske landsbyen Peralada ved Costa Brava i Spania. <em>Hotel Peralada<\/em> ligger som en herreg\u00e5rd midt i et eksklusivt golf-anlegg. Det var litt av et syn n\u00e5r en kolonne av flotte Donkervoort-biler helt uventet dukket opp ved inngangspartiet. Lengde og bredde er henholdsvis 4,04 og 1,91 meter, &#8211; men h\u00f8yden &#8211; den er kun 1,11 meter! class=\"tebh2\">Priser<\/h3>\n<p>Donkervoort er h\u00e5ndbygde biler med store muligheter for individuelle tilpasninger. Om det er d\u00e9t som er grunnen, vet jeg ikke &#8211; men det er ikke publisert noen listepriser. Basert p\u00e5 s\u00f8k i bilb\u00f8rser ser den nye F22-modellen ut til \u00e5 koste fra omkring \u20ac260 000 i EU-land, mens foreg\u00e5ende modell, <em>D8 GTO Individual Series<\/em> kan koste fra \u20ac220 000. Ferdig-konfigurerte biler kan v\u00e6re dyrere p\u00e5 grunn av utstyr. Jeg har ikke regnet p\u00e5 norske avgifter, men &laquo;liten&raquo; motor og lett vekt b\u00f8r telle positivt. \u00c5 bestille en bil hos Donkervoort m\u00e5 fortone seg som en krevende &#8211; men morsom &#8211; oppgave, ettersom alt kan skreddersys. Skj\u00f8nt det er ikke sikkert du f\u00e5r bestille den modellen du \u00f8nsker, ettersom det er satt et maksimalt antall p\u00e5 hver modell.
