Mulighetene for \u00e5 oppgradere motor og understell er mange, &#8211; og ikke minst tilbud av tilbeh\u00f8r og stylingprodukter. Du kan virkelig sette ditt personlige preg p\u00e5 bilen, og skape en unik Golf. Skulle du f\u00e5 en karrosseriskade, er det likevel godt \u00e5 vite at Golf tross alt er en av verdens mest utbredte biler.<\/p>\n<p>I helgen var jeg p\u00e5 VACN (VW Audi Club Norwegen) sitt utstillingstreff i Oslo. En hvit 1983 GTI &laquo;Oettinger&raquo; fanget oppmerksomheten. Eieren opplyste at bilen var spesiallaget for det franske markedet i et begrenset opplag (1250). Den franske import\u00f8ren var bekymret for at Golf GTI ikke var rask nok til \u00e5 hevde seg mot konkurrentene. De \u00f8nsket en utgave med mer kraft. Kanskje hadde de f\u00e5tt vite om Peugeots forest\u00e5ende 205 GTI? Og hva med konkurransen fra Renault 5 Alpine? Ved hjelp at Oettinger kunne Volkswagen levere en oppgradert GTI med 136 hesters 16-ventilers motor og oppgradert understell. Modellen skulle v\u00e6re et supplement til den ordin\u00e6re 110 hesters utgaven og ble produsert i kun 1250 eksemplarer &#8211; kun for det franske markedet. Det var et tilstrekkelig antall til \u00e5 komme p\u00e5 f\u00f8rstesidene av franske bilmagasiner, men langt fra tilstrekkelig til at hvermannsen kunne skaffet seg et eksemplar.<\/p>\n<figure &laquo;ur-Golf&raquo;, utstilt i den karakteristiske r\u00f8dfargen &laquo;Phoenix Red&raquo;. Denne Golfen s\u00e5 ved f\u00f8rste \u00f8yekast helt standard ut, men hadde f\u00e5tt diverse tekniske og kosmetiske endringer som gjorde at den ikke lenger kunne karakteriseres som en vanlig Golf.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>En &laquo;ur-Golf&raquo;
