Den kan nemlig \u00e5pne for en ny generasjon elbiler.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Kan ny teknologi bane vei for sm\u00e5biler?<\/h3>\n<p>En el-SUV p\u00e5 4,8 meter fra et relativt ukjent bilmerke vekker ingen oppsikt i nyhetsbildet. F\u00e5 vil v\u00e6re i stand til \u00e5 identifisere en Leapmotor C10 p\u00e5 gaten. Jeg tenker at markedet for store SUV&#8217;er snart m\u00e5 v\u00e6re mettet. Jeg skulle \u00f8nske at bilprodusentene i stedet kunne sette s\u00f8kelys p\u00e5 vakre og smekre elbiler.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDessverre er h\u00f8ybygde biler med solid fj\u00e6ring, store hjul og bremser n\u00f8dvendig for \u00e5 frakte dagens &laquo;long range&raquo; batterier. Men vi skal ikke forkaste den store kasseformede SUV&#8217;en som ble avduket p\u00e5 Leapmotor&#8217;s stand i M\u00fcnchen i h\u00f8st. Den kan faktisk bidra til at bilprodusentene kan gi oss et st\u00f8rre utvalg av stilige og langt mindre kasseformede elbiler, og det kan ogs\u00e5 \u00e5pne for nye modeller med lang rekkevidde i det viktige A- og B-segmentet. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Om Leapmotor<\/h3>\n<p>Leapmotor er \u00e9n av flere nystartede bilprodusenter fra Kina. De er en ganske liten produsent med cirka 210 000 produserte biler fra 2019 til annen halv\u00e5r 2023. Forel\u00f8pig g\u00e5r de aller fleste bilene til innenlands-markedet, men Leapmotor er i ferd med \u00e5 etablere seg i Europa. I februar i \u00e5r startet de i Frankrike, og til neste \u00e5r st\u00e5r UK for tur. I dag best\u00e5r modellprogrammet av kun den lille modellen T03. Det er en elbil i A-segmentet i samme st\u00f8rrelse som Frankrikes nest mest solgte elbil, Dacia Spring. De beskriver den i 4 niv\u00e5er &#8211; kalt &laquo;Four Clover&raquo;. I bunnen ligger dataarkitekturen, deretter batteri og elmotor, s\u00e5 et fullt montert &laquo;lower body&raquo;, og til slutt hele bilen. Det er spesielt to ting i denne arkitekturen som jeg tror kan p\u00e5virke utviklingen av elbiler over hele verden, nemlig <em>Central E\/E Control Architecture<\/em> og <em>Cell-to-Chassis batterier<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Central E\/E Control Architecture<\/h3>\n<p>I hvilken som helst moderne bil finnes det sm\u00e5, datastyrte styringsbokser forbundet til hverandre i et kablet datanettverk. De elektroniske boksene betjener elektriske funksjoner som brytere og lignenede (E\/E &#8211; Elektro\/Elektrisk eller data-svakstr\u00f8m\/sterkstr\u00f8m). Ved \u00e5 koble databoksene mot st\u00f8rre databokser og la disse igjen kommunisere med en sentral datamaskin, kan antall kabler og bokser reduseres &#8211; noe som kan gi mer plass, lavere vekt, mindre energitap og bedre rekkevidde. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">&laquo;Cell-to-chassis&raquo; batterier<\/h3>\n<p>&laquo;Cell-to-chassis&raquo; betyr at alle battericellene er festet i direkte tilknytning til bilens chassis uten \u00e5 v\u00e6re kapslet inn i batterikasser. Gjort p\u00e5 riktig m\u00e5tte kan det stive av understell og karosseri, gi bedre innvendig plass, \u00f8ke sikkerheten og gi raskere ladning. L\u00f8sningen gj\u00f8r at man kun installerer str\u00f8mgivende komponenter &#8211; uten overfl\u00f8dig last. Tesla har beskrevet l\u00f8sningen som &laquo;Cell-to-body&raquo;, som g\u00e5r ut p\u00e5 det samme for personbiler hvor batteriene plasseres inn i b\u00e6rende konstruksjoner. L\u00f8sningen kan ogs\u00e5 medf\u00f8re utfordringer ved gjenvinning. Det siste kan v\u00e6re viktig, hvis man senker terskelen for \u00e5 skrote biler i stedet for \u00e5 reparere dem. Til gjengjeld \u00e5pner &laquo;cell-to-chassis&raquo; nye muligheter for produksjon av rimeligere og mindre elbiler &#8211; noe som oppveier for at gjennomsnittlig levetid reduseres. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Tilbys ogs\u00e5 andre bilprodusenter<\/h3>\n<p>Den nye plattformen, Leap 3.0, er enn\u00e5 ikke satt i produksjon. Man kan sp\u00f8rre seg om salget av den nye C10-modellen alene kan dekke inn utviklingskostnader, da det m\u00e5 utvikles mye programvare i forkant. <em>Zhu Jiangming<\/em>, styreformann og grunnlegger, har uttalt at Leapmotor ikke bare vil selge <em>biler<\/em>, men ogs\u00e5 levere teknologi til andre bilprodusenter. Volkswagen, som sitter tungt i kinesisk bilindustri gjennom selskapene FAW-Volkswagen og SAIC Volkswagen, skal allerede v\u00e6re i forhandlinger med Leapmotor om \u00e5 f\u00e5 levert Leap 3.0 til sin nye planlagte Jetta-modell for det kinesiske markedet. I Europa har Volkswagen skapt sine egne plattformer, og har annonsert at de skal benytte en modifisert versjon av MEB-plattformen for sin nye forhjulsdrevne ID.2. Kanskje erfaringene med Leap 3.0 i nye Jetta kan f\u00e5 Volkswagen til \u00e5 velge samme plattform til ID.2 og en fremtidig ID.1?<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDet er ingen hemmelighet at ogs\u00e5 Stellantis har v\u00e6rt i kontakt med Leapmotor, men det skal utelukkende v\u00e6re knyttet til <em>EREV Leap 3.0<\/em>-plattformen som inneholder en <em>range Extender<\/em> med en 1,2 liter forbrenningsmotor. Kanskje Stellantis har planer om \u00e5 benytte &laquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/klimastiftelsen.no\/publikasjoner\/hva-er-e-fuel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>e-fuel<\/strong><\/a>&raquo; til en eventuell range extender?<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nTil forskjell fra Volkswagen-konsernet har Stellantis valgt \u00e5 bygge elbiler etter samme m\u00f8nster som biler med termiske motorer.
