Peugeot 208 er ingen unntak, men kan likevel v\u00e6re et godt kj\u00f8p.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Gunstig pris som brukt<\/h3>\n<p>Det finnes b\u00e5de gode og negative sider ved bilene &#8211; som vi skal komme tilbake til &#8211; men den st\u00f8rste fordelen er prisene. Franske biler er ikke spesielt popul\u00e6re p\u00e5 det norske bruktbilmarkedet noe som kommer til uttrykk i prisene. En rask kikk p\u00e5 biler til salgs i Norge og Frankrike gir meg et inntrykk av at prisene faktisk er lavere i Norge enn i Frankrike. Peugeot 208 til cirka 100 000 kroner kan derfor v\u00e6re gunstige kj\u00f8p. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Modellhistorikk<\/h3>\n<p>Peugeot 208 &#8211; modell 1 &#8211; ble produsert fra v\u00e5ren 2012 til sommeren 2019. 2016-modellen fikk en facelift med blant annet endringer i fronten, bredere grill, nye baklys som illustrerer kl\u00f8rne til et kattedyr, nytt instrumentbord og en sterkere dieselmotor. En bil som fyller mange transportbehov.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Om bensinmotorene<\/h3>\n<p>Ser vi bort fra GTI-utgaven, ble 208 levert med avanserte 3-sylindrede VTi-motorer (Variabel ventil timing og injection) som ogs\u00e5 omtales som PureTech. Motorene gir lavt forbruk og et fint st\u00f8ybilde, men har dessverre en alvorlig konstruksjonsfeil <a href=\"#cc1\">(1)<\/a> som begynte \u00e5 dukke opp for noen \u00e5r siden. Motorene er laget s\u00e5nn at registerreima snurrer rundt i varm motorolje &#8211; ikke i et t\u00f8rt registerrom. Det reduserer intern friksjon i motoren, men dessverre har det vist seg at reimene ikke t\u00e5lte oljen og begynte \u00e5 smuldre opp s\u00e5nn at inntaket til oljepumpen kunne tette seg. Feilen kunne ogs\u00e5 medf\u00f8re at man mistet servokraften til bremsene. Som f\u00f8lge av dette, har Peugeot kortet inn intervallene for bytte av registerreim fra 180 000 km og 10 \u00e5r til 100 000 og 5 \u00e5r, &#8211; samt anbefalt oljeskift hvert \u00e5r. Det franske bilmagasinet <em>L\u2019argus<\/em> oppdaget at registerreimer produsert fra 2017 ikke er like oppl\u00f8selige som de gamle, men kan likevel ikke friskmeldes. En faktor som for \u00f8vrig forsterker problemet er at flere har erfart at den franske produsenten og den norske import\u00f8ren holder en restriktiv og dels arrogant linje overfor ber\u00f8rte eiere.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nMotorene det handler om, er 1,0 68 hk, 1,2 82 hk og 1,2 110 hk.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Om dieselmotorene<\/h3>\n<p>Dieselmotorene HDI, e-HDI og BlueHDI benyttes bredt i PSA\u2019s modellprogram. De tilh\u00f8rer DV6-familien av motorer som tidligere hadde problemer med karbonavleiringer, men de ble l\u00f8st i god tid f\u00f8r Peugeot 208 ble satt i produksjon. Dieselmotorene p\u00e5 1,4 liter\/68 hk og 1,6 liter\/92 hk er trolig de mest driftssikre alternativene. Facelift-utgaven fikk en oppgradert BlueHDI 1,6-motor med 100 hk. Disse er litt \u201clastebil-aktige\u201d hvor du m\u00e5 tillate at tannhjulene i kassa faller p\u00e5 plass f\u00f8r du f\u00f8rer spaken i gir. Det er ingen \u201cklikk-klakk\u201d girkasse. 6-trinns-kassene skal visstnok gire raskere. N\u00e5r det gjelder automatgir kunne du f\u00e5 biler med robotiserte girskift (ETG5) til og med 2015-modellen. Etter facelift ble robotkassa byttet ut med en konvensjonell automatkasse fra <em>Aisin<\/em> (EAT6). Jeg kan skrive under p\u00e5 at den girkassa er et godt valg hvis du foretrekker automat. Biler med den robotiserte girkassa ETG5 anbefales ikke. Den har skapt tr\u00f8bbel for mange eiere.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Kjente problemer<\/h3>\n<p>Peugeot 208 ble produsert ved to fabrikker i Frankrike og \u00e9n i Slovakia. De siste \u00e5rene fikk Norge biler fra Trnava i Slovakia. Finner du en \u201cT\u201d i VIN-nummerets posisjon 11, er det en slovakisk bil. Det er vanlig at bilmodeller har flere tilbakekallinger. Peugeot 208 har hatt flere, og noen av feilene har kunnet skapt alvorlige og til dels spektakul\u00e6re situasjoner &#8211; som for eksempel at vitale komponenter l\u00f8sner, som bakakselen, deler av hjulopphenget foran, styrestamma eller hekkspoileren. Et problem knyttet til slovakiske biler, var at l\u00e5sen til motorpanseret kunne l\u00f8sne, noe som kunne medf\u00f8re at panseret brettet seg rundt frontruten i fart. Husk at disse tilbakekallingene kun gjelder et begrenset utvalg av biler produsert i korte tidsintervaller og sannsynligvis fikset uten at nye eiere beh\u00f8ver \u00e5 bekymre seg.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nEn feil du <em>b\u00f8r<\/em> bekymre deg om, er at infotainment-skjermen har hatt en tendens til \u00e5 d\u00f8. Bilen er en 2019-modell utstyrt med en 1,2 liters PureTech-motor med 82 hk og manuell 5-trinns girkasse. Utstyrsgraden er \u201cSignature\u201d med blant annet blanke speilhus, parkeringsvarsler og navigasjonssystem. Man sitter godt i setene. Jeg fant en ganske h\u00f8y og oppreist sittestilling hvor jeg bekvemt kunne se instrumentene over rattet. P\u00e5 papiret er de innvendige plassforholdene som i konkurrentene, men for noen \u00e5r siden fraktet vi et kj\u00f8kkenbord og et smalt salongbord sammen med 2 passasjerer i en annen Peugeot 208. Jeg skj\u00f8nner ikke hvordan vi fikk det til, men 208 er uten tvil et lite plassvindunder.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nN\u00e5r man tar over bilen for f\u00f8rste gang, merker man at clutch-gass krever litt tilvenning for at motoren ikke skal halte og stoppe &#8211; eller ruse opp. Normalt lar jeg clutchen ta tak f\u00f8r jeg f\u00f8lger p\u00e5 med gass, men p\u00e5 208 m\u00e5 man ha litt gass f\u00f8r man lar clutchen ta. Jeg har merket det ogs\u00e5 p\u00e5 andre modeller med PureTech-motoren. Motoren trenger noen ekstra omdreininger over tomgang for \u00e5 dra i vei.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">P\u00e5 veien<\/h3>\n<p>Fj\u00e6ringen er komfortabel til sm\u00e5bil \u00e5 v\u00e6re &#8211; uten \u00e5 krenge og duve som franske biler ofte gj\u00f8r. Vi har kj\u00f8rt noen skikkelig \u201ccrappy\u201d veipartier hvor bilen flyter  overraskende fint. Det som fikk meg til \u00e5 holde igjen p\u00e5 farten, var lyden av understellet som jobbet. Jeg nevner kun det som er spesifikt for Peugeot 208.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nFor biler med bensinmotor 1,0 og 1,2 liter:<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nSp\u00f8r eier om bilen har g\u00e5tt i n\u00f8dmodus i det siste. N\u00e5r oljesilen til oljepumpa tetter seg, vil akkurat d\u00e9t kunne skje.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nFinn ut n\u00e5r registerreima ble byttet. Nye skiftintervaller er 100 000 km eller 5 \u00e5r. Jeg har funnet flere annonser p\u00e5 Finn.no hvor selgeren refererer til gamle skiftintervaller. Er de nye intervallene overskredet, \u00f8ker risikoen for at man m\u00e5 demontere bunnpanna, drenere og rense oljesilen. Velg i s\u00e5 fall en annen bil.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nS\u00e5fremt registerreima ikke er byttet nylig, b\u00f8r du f\u00e5 den kontrollert hos et uavhengig verksted eller forhandler. De benytter en spesiell n\u00f8kkel som de stikker ned gjennom oljep\u00e5fyllingslokket for \u00e5 sjekke bredden p\u00e5 reima. Ett tegn p\u00e5 oppsmuldring er at den sveller ut.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDet er et godt tegn hvis eieren p\u00e5 ett eller annet tidspunkt har valgt \u00e5 ta oljeskift hvert \u00e5r etter r\u00e5d fra forhandlere.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nFor alle motoralternativ:<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nService-heftet er uhyre viktig for denne modellen. Selv om ikke alle servicene er tatt hos merkeforhandler, er det viktig at <em>noen<\/em> servicer er tatt der. Forhandlerapparatet kan nemlig f\u00f8lge opp feil som ikke formidles gjennom andre kanaler.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nUnder pr\u00f8vekj\u00f8ring, f\u00e5 sidemannen til \u00e5 trykke mye p\u00e5 infotainment-skjermen. Sjekk at den virker like bra etter endt tur n\u00e5r den er varm.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Konklusjon<\/h3>\n<p>Synes du det ble mye negativ informasjon?  Kvalitetsmessig regnes Peugeot 208 som et stort fremskritt sammenlignet med forgjengeren 207. Det er verdt \u00e5 merke seg at de st\u00f8rste svakhetene ved bilen deles med flere andre popul\u00e6re modeller i PSA-konsernet. Vi har jo sett at Volkswagen ogs\u00e5 har slitt med konstruksjonsproblemer <a href=\"#cc1\">(1)<\/a> i sine motorer. Peugeot 208 har ingen spesielle svakheter og er heller ikke spesielt utsatt for rust. Den st\u00f8rste fordelen er prisen.
