Kanskje V40 faller mellom to stoler? Det hardbarkede Volvo-folket som s\u00f8ker en rommelig familiebil, &#8211; noe V40 definitivt ikke er, &#8211; og unge som foretrekker BMW og Audi fremfor Volvo?<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nHer om dagen fikk jeg kj\u00f8re Volvo V40 &#8211; som leiebil i embeds medf\u00f8r. Det var en 2015-modell med den &laquo;gamle&raquo; D2-motoren p\u00e5 115 HK. Jeg konstaterer at det i \u00f8yeblikket finnes 333 V40&#8217;er til salgs p\u00e5 Finn.no som er under 3 \u00e5r gamle. Hele 280 av disse er med D2-motor. Selv om ingen av dem er spesielt billige, kan det kanskje v\u00e6re mulig \u00e5 gj\u00f8re et godt bruktbilkj\u00f8p p\u00e5 V40 i disse dager?<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nVolvo V40 er nemlig ingen d\u00e5rlig bil. F\u00f8rst og fremst likte jeg setene med innvevde skinndetaljer, behagelig \u00e5 se p\u00e5 &#8211; og ikke minst sitte i. Jeg likte de digitale instrumentene. De ser ut som konvensjonelle analoge klokker, men er egentlig en digital skjerm. Viseren p\u00e5 turtelleren, for eksempel, er ren datagrafikk. De to h\u00f8ytplasserte skjermene gir premiumf\u00f8lelse. Den prisbel\u00f8nte midtkonsollen er fors\u00e5vidt vakker &#8211; i et slags Nordic Light Design &#8211; men den har for mange knapper. Jeg greier ikke \u00e5 lese hva det st\u00e5r p\u00e5 dem mens jeg kj\u00f8rer. Klimakontrollen er lettbetjent, og DAB-radioen kunne heldigvis betjenes fra rattet. God lyd var det ogs\u00e5.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nN\u00e5r n\u00f8kkelen er stukket inn i dashbordet,  kan man starte og stoppe motoren med Start-knappen. H\u00e5ndbrekket er elegant klemt mellom midttunnelen og f\u00f8rersetet som p\u00e5 en sportsbil. H\u00e5ndtaket er av mykt skinn. Midtarmlenet og d\u00f8rarmlenet f\u00f8les behagelige. Jeg ga en firer for kj\u00f8reglede da jeg testet samme motor i Citroen C4 og en treer i Volvo V60. Jeg synes dette drivverket ga mer kj\u00f8reglede i den litt lettere Volvo V40. Girkassa var sv\u00e6rt lett \u00e5 jobbe med. Utvekslingen er helt ideell for norske veier. Du kan legge inn sjettegiret fra 80 km\/t, og der holder den seg fint fra 1200-1300 omdreininger.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDreiemomentet er p\u00e5 hele 270 Nm. Jeg noterer meg at den virket litt dvask fra stillest\u00e5ende, men straks jeg var ferdig med f\u00f8rstegiret, var responsen god.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nP\u00e5 vei hjem tok jeg av motorveien ved Vinterbro og fulgte Gamle Mossevei innover mot Oslo. Dette er en meget kj\u00f8revennlig bil. Jeg girer ned, inn i svingen, gir p\u00e5 gass, girer opp, &#8211; lekende lett og totalt uanstrengt. Jeg nevnte at de var vakre \u00e5 se p\u00e5 med synlige s\u00f8mmer og innvevde skinndetaljer. Jeg likte spesielt baksetearrangementet med 2 formgitte seter og en enklere midtplass. Bak rattet fant jeg straks en perfekt kj\u00f8restilling med full korsryggst\u00f8tte, l\u00e5rst\u00f8tte og hodest\u00f8tten satt akkurat der den skulle.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nUnder kj\u00f8ring gir fj\u00e6ringen god komfort uten \u00e5 f\u00f8les myk. Det er 50-60 000 mer enn en tilsvarende utstyrt Citroen C4. C4 er en utmerket bil, som tilbyr vesentlig st\u00f8rre bagasjerom men ikke like morsom \u00e5 kj\u00f8re som V40. Du kan dessuten regne med \u00e5 f\u00e5 mer i innbytte for V40 enn C4.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nMotoren har vist seg \u00e5 v\u00e6re slitesterk og t\u00e5ler h\u00f8ye km-lengder. PSA-motoren benyttes i taxitrafikk over hele Europa, og du kan derfor regne med god drifts\u00f8konomi.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nJeg fikk ikke m\u00e5lt drivstofforbruket, men fabrikktallene ved blandet kj\u00f8ring skal v\u00e6re 0,38 liter pr mil. Min erfaring med andre biler med samme moter, er at forbruket ligger mellom 0,45 og 0,50. Ikke ille. &laquo;Min&raquo; V40 hadde for \u00f8vrig et \u00f8ko-meter. Helt un\u00f8dvendig, da det vanskelig lar seg gj\u00f8re \u00e5 kj\u00f8re u\u00f8konomisk med dette drivverket. Volvo med 115 HK turbodiesel er en ideell bil for de som tilbakelegger sv\u00e6rt mange mil i \u00e5ret. Mange ville kanskje valgt V70 eDrive til den jobben, men jeg ville valgt en V40 D2, s\u00e5 sant jeg ikke m\u00e5tte frakte med meg store gjenstander.
