Det handler om pris, plass og en C-stolpe som minner om Golfs tidlige modeller.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Folkelig pris<\/h3>\n<p>Volkswagens verdenspremiere av ID.2all sender signaler om at det kan v\u00e6re mulig \u00e5 n\u00e5 EUs m\u00e5l om slutt p\u00e5 salg av nybiler p\u00e5 bensin og diesel fra 2035. Ett av argumentene mot dette m\u00e5let er <em>pris<\/em>. I land uten samme insentiver for elbiler som vi har i Norge, koster elbilene betydelig mer enn fossilbiler. If\u00f8lge Volkswagen skal ID.2all prises til 25 000 euro. De har ogs\u00e5 annonsert at de vil komme med en mindre modell til under 20 000 euro. Til sammenligning koster Renault Zoe 35 000 euro i Frankrike. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Polo p\u00e5 utsiden &#8211; Golf p\u00e5 innsiden<\/h3>\n<p>Innvendig plass skal tilsvare Golf. Utvendig m\u00e5ler ID.2 bare 4,05 meter i lengden &#8211; omtrent som dagens Polo. Plassfordelen kan forklares med at kupeen strekker seg ganske langt frem over et relativt kort motorrom. Bortsett fra batteripakken som ligger i bunnen av MEB-plattformen, er alt drivverk plassert foran i motorrommet, &#8211; og leverer kraften til forhjulene. De andre MEB-baserte modellene er i utgangspunktet bakhjulsdrevne. Bagasjeromsplassen er p\u00e5 hele 490 liter, 50 liter lagring under baksetene og 440 liter bak. I f\u00f8lge bildet fra bagasjerommet ser det ut som man kan laste dypt. Dagens ID.3 og ID.4 mangler karakter og merkeidentitet. Konkurransen i B-klassen kan bli hard. For etablerte bilmerker, som Volkswagen, er merkevareidentitet viktig. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Konkurrentene<\/h3>\n<p>At Volkswagen \u00f8nsker \u00e5 vise at de har et ess i ermet, kan v\u00e6re for \u00e5 demme opp for konkurrentene. Vi har tidligere skrevet om kinesiske ORA, som har begynt \u00e5 f\u00e5 fotfeste i Tyskland. Allerede til neste \u00e5r kommer Renaults nye Zoe-arvtaker med linjer inspirert av Renault R5. Men de kan neppe matche prisene til nye ID.2. Det gj\u00f8r at man selvf\u00f8lgelig kan stille sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l til om Volkswagen greier \u00e5 holde sine planer. Det er verdt \u00e5 nevne at Volkswagen ogs\u00e5 har ett annet ess i ermet &#8211; etebleringen av sin egen batterifabrikk, PowerCo i Salzgitter.
