If\u00f8lge kundelisten til en av hovedleverand\u00f8rene for batteril\u00f8sninger og elmotorer ligger Storbritannia p\u00e5 toppen, med spredte forhandlere rundt i Europa. Sverige har \u00e9n leverand\u00f8r, mens elbil-landet Norge forel\u00f8pig er uber\u00f8rt. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Electrogenic<\/h3>\n<p>Flere selskaper kan konvertere biler med forbrenningsmotorer til elektrisk drift, men forel\u00f8pig er alle i startfasen. Ett av selskapene, <em>Electrogenic Ltd<\/em>, tilbyr n\u00e5 ombyggings-kit for enkelte bilmodeller, og satser p\u00e5 \u00e5 kunne levere til verksteder og restaurat\u00f8rer. \u00c9n av standard-l\u00f8sningene er tilpasset Land Rover. Det enkleste kit&#8217;et er kalt <em>Agricultural Kit<\/em>, hvor ombyggingen kan utf\u00f8res etter et drop-in prinsipp. I fremtiden skal man kunne ta med sin Land Rover til en lokal forhandler og f\u00e5 den bygget om. <em>Agricultural Kit<\/em> krever kun ombygging inne i motorrommet. Typiske kandidater for ombygging er 12-15 \u00e5r gamle, relativt velbrukte biler. Siden ombyggingen vil koste flere hundre tusen kroner, med oppgraderinger av styring, understell, bremser og drivverk, vil en viss grad av restaurering v\u00e6re n\u00f8dvendig i tillegg. <em>Vass Technology<\/em> stilte ut to Land Rovere p\u00e5 \u00e5rets <em>London Classic Car Show<\/em>. Disse var restaurert ned til minste detalj, med blant annet bytte av ramme og understell m.m. Selskapet er i startfasen for \u00e5 utvikle l\u00f8sninger for konvertering av biler med forbrenningsmotorer til eldrift. Utstillingsbilene er prototyper for to forskjellige ombyggingsl\u00f8sninger. De tiltrakk ikke publikum bare p\u00e5 grunn av sine elektriske drivverk, men ogs\u00e5 fordi de var s\u00e5 flott restaurerte. Dette er biler som uansett ville ha vekket positiv oppmerksomhet selv med sine opprinnelige dieselmotorer, men begge bilene hadde n\u00e5 Tesla-motorer og batteripakker fra Jaguar I-Pace.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Ikke i Norge<\/h3>\n<p>\u00c5 bruke Tesla-motorer og -batterier betyr ikke at det eksisterer noe formelt samarbeid. S\u00e5nt kan kj\u00f8pes fritt p\u00e5 det internasjonale delemarkedet. Selskapet <em>NetGain Motors, Inc.<\/em> har spesialisert seg p\u00e5 \u00e5 levere grunnleggende komponenter til profesjonelle ombyggere, som Electrogenic. Selskapet har 8 partnere\/forhandlere bare i Storbritannia, og like mange spredt ut over resten av Europa, herunder 2 i Sverige. Elbil-landet Norge er uber\u00f8rt. Sverige har relativt liberale regler for ombygginger utf\u00f8rt av selvbyggere. Problemet med dagens elbil-konverteringer er at de betraktes som vesentlige ombygginger av tidligere typegodkjente kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y, noe som er sv\u00e6rt krevende \u00e5 f\u00e5 godkjent her i landet. F\u00f8rst n\u00e5r ombyggingene tar steget over til \u00e5 produsere standardl\u00f8sninger, kan de bli godkjente av internasjonale etater. Da er det mulig at man kan f\u00e5 bygget om biler ogs\u00e5 i Norge. Vi er ikke der enn\u00e5 &#8211; og konverteringene vil neppe la seg gjennomf\u00f8re uten at politikerne lemper p\u00e5 reglene s\u00e5nn at det blir enklere \u00e5 godkjenne ombygging til elektrisitet.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nKanskje en sak for MDG? <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">En bil for livet?<\/h3>\n<p>Land Rover Defender er et britisk ikon. De er solide, enkle, og uj\u00e5lete arbeidsjern som passer inn over alt &#8211; foran en gammel pub, herreg\u00e5rd eller forretningsbygg av glass og betong. Klassiske Land Rovere vil sannsynligvis aldri g\u00e5 av moten. Hvis man skal ha \u00e9n bil for resten av livet, er Land Rover en god kandidat. Land Rover Defender (eller tidligere serier) fortjener et ekstra liv &#8211; og egner seg godt for tunge batterier. Det har bransjen allerede funnet ut. Nesten alle de britiske selskapene tilbyr n\u00e5 l\u00f8sninger for Land Rover. <\/p>\n\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_57392\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-57392\" style=\"width: 1280px\" som skjuler seg under<\/h3>\n<p>Selv om Land Rover egner seg bedre til elektrisk ombygging enn mange andre modeller, skiller ikke kit&#8217;ene seg mye konseptmessig fra \u00f8vrige modeller. \u00c5pner man motorpanseret p\u00e5 protoypene fra <em>Vass Technolgy<\/em>, finner man en kontrollboks p\u00e5 toppen av ei batterikasse. En annen batterikasse er plassert bak et sted der drivstofftanken befant seg. Tesla-motoren sitter mellom rammevangene midt under bilen og er koblet til en permanent 4&#215;4 transmisjon. Dette er en p\u00e5kostet l\u00f8sning.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nElectrogenic tilbyr enklere l\u00f8sninger hvor elmotoren monteres inn i eksisterende svinghjulhus, s\u00e5nn at clutch og gear fortsatt kan benyttes. If\u00f8lge leverand\u00f8ren kan sluring i clutch-lamellene redde drivverket hvis man kj\u00f8rer &laquo;butt&raquo; i en trestubbe eller lignende. De tilbyr ogs\u00e5 et clutch-l\u00f8st drivverk. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Hva som taler mot elektrisk ombygging<\/h3>\n<p>Elektriske Land Rover har noen klare ulemper. Uansett hva leverand\u00f8rene m\u00e5tte hevde, ville jeg aldri v\u00e5get \u00e5 kj\u00f8re i vann eller vasstrukken s\u00f8le. Og hvilken rekkevidde vil man egentlig f\u00e5 p\u00e5 d\u00e5rlige veier med sn\u00f8 eller s\u00f8le? Med kritiske \u00f8yne kan man jo sp\u00f8rre seg &#8211; hvorfor har ikke Land Rover selv valgt \u00e5 lansere en elektrisk Defender? Den st\u00f8rste innvendingen vil likevel v\u00e6re prisen.
