Men jeg valgte den ikke for forn\u00f8yelsens skyld.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">En god grunn for varebil?<\/h3>\n<p>Min datter og hennes kj\u00e6reste kommer p\u00e5 bes\u00f8k i julen. De trenger en bredere seng. Derfor ble dagens gj\u00f8rem\u00e5l \u00e5 kvitte seg med den gamle og kj\u00f8pe &laquo;ny&raquo; seng p\u00e5 &laquo;finn.no&raquo;. En sovesofa fra IKEA passer bra. Siden jeg ikke lenger har <em>villa<\/em>, <em>Volvo<\/em> og egen henger, m\u00e5tte jeg g\u00e5 p\u00e5 nettet for \u00e5 leie en varebil. Heldigvis har jeg enn\u00e5 <em>wife<\/em> og <em>vov-vov<\/em>, &#8211; s\u00e5 p\u00e5 tur med vov-voven her om dagen la jeg merke til en splitter ny Ford Transit Connect til leie i nabolaget. <em>&laquo;Den m\u00e5 jeg pr\u00f8ve&raquo;<\/em>, tenkte jeg. For skal jeg v\u00e6re helt \u00e6rlig, ligger det en liten snev av forventning i \u00e5 f\u00e5 kj\u00f8re en helt ny bil, selv om det &laquo;bare&raquo; er en varebil.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<blockquote><p>Trenger man egentlig noen grunn for \u00e5 kj\u00f8re varebil?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Jeg fant en allright plass bak rattet. Man sitter i personbilh\u00f8yde, med rikelig romf\u00f8lelse i h\u00f8yden og frontrute som p\u00e5 en turbuss. Bilen har tre seter hvor det midtre kan sl\u00e5s ned som et st\u00f8dig arbeidsbord og armlene &#8211; en utmerket kombinasjon. Kupeen i varebiler er jo ikke bare til kj\u00f8ring, men ogs\u00e5 varmestue hvor man prater, spiser, drikker kaffe og s\u00e5nt.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_54654\" var 5 \u00e5r <a href=\"https:\/\/terjebjornstad.com\/no\/2018\/02\/04\/naboens-transit-connect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>siden sist<\/strong><\/a> jeg kj\u00f8rte Transit Connect. Senere er den kommet i oppgradert versjon, blant annet med ny front. Jeg noterte meg endringene p\u00e5 instrumentbordet. Det f\u00e6le knappe-clusteret er borte og infotainment-skjermen er st\u00f8rre. Motoren er den samme, men ikke automatkassa. Jeg likte den gamle bedre, men n\u00e5 vet man jo at det har v\u00e6rt en del problemer med Ford&#8217;s Powershift-l\u00f8sninger.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nAutomatgir i varebil er ikke s\u00e5 dumt, spesielt hvis man driver med post- og vareleveranser &#8211; og s\u00e5nt. Bilen jeg kj\u00f8rte for 5 \u00e5r siden, hadde en 6 trinns dobbelt-clutch l\u00f8sning. Den utnyttet det fine bunndraget i motoren bedre enn den nye automatkassa. Den nye er en konvensjonell 8 trinns girkasse med momentomformer. Det kreves litt tilvenning for at h\u00f8yrefoten skal samarbeide 100 prosent. Er man litt for hard p\u00e5 gassen, girer kassa ned i stedet for \u00e5 holde giret. Jeg fikk blandede f\u00f8lelser. Automatkassa gj\u00f8r det g\u00f8y \u00e5 kj\u00f8re bil &#8211; samtidig som jeg synes den kan bli litt masete. Jeg hadde den korte. Med total lengde p\u00e5 4,43 smetter den lekende lett inn i alle parkeringslommer, men bagasjerommet er begrenset i lengden. Madrassene og sengerammene som jeg skulle kj\u00f8re p\u00e5 dynga, var 2 meter. Maksimal lastelengde p\u00e5 L1 er 178 cm nede ved gulvet, men bare 155 rett bak ryggen p\u00e5 f\u00f8rersetet. Den lange utgaven av Transit Connect, L2, kan frakte 215 cm nede ved gulvet &#8211; tilstrekkelig til alle rammemadrasser. Min l\u00f8sning var \u00e5 kutte opp madrassene og b\u00f8ye st\u00e5let. De skulle jo kasseres uansett. Rammevangene fikk jeg plass til ved \u00e5 \u00e5pne gjennomlastingsluken inn til kupeen. Det &laquo;nye&raquo; m\u00f8belet var en toseter sovesofa. Den fikk vi lastet inn fint.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nFord Connect L1 kommer til kort som flyttebil. Lasterommet er likevel p\u00e5 anstendige 2,9 kubikk og ganske snobbete med to skyved\u00f8rer, sidevindu p\u00e5 h\u00f8yre side, innerliner p\u00e5 gulvet og pleksiglass i skilleveggen fra <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lafinto.no\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Lafinto<\/strong><\/a>. Dessuten finnes det mange fine innredningsl\u00f8sninger \u00e5 f\u00e5 kj\u00f8pt, med reoler, skuffer og dobbeltgulv med mer, s\u00e5 man kan holde orden p\u00e5 sysakene.
