Skj\u00f8nt det er imponerende \u00e5 se hvor popul\u00e6r XC90 fremdeles er. Vi snakker tross alt om en hybridbil som koster over en million kroner.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Kort modellhistorikk<\/h3>\n<p>Volvo er p\u00e5 ingen m\u00e5te ferdig med XC90. Tidligere i \u00e5r ble det gjort ganske store forbedringer p\u00e5 T8-drivverket. Batteripakken har f\u00e5tt et ekstra lag med celler som \u00f8ker b\u00e5de batterikapasiteten og rekkevidden. Elmotoren bak har flere krefter \u00e5 skyve med. Med \u00f8kt bunndrag fra elmotoren har Volvo valgt \u00e5 fjerne Supercharger&#8217;n fra bensinmotoren. Den oppgraderte 2-liters turbomotoren har likevel f\u00e5tt en liten effekt\u00f8kning. Total boost-effekt i power modus er \u00f8kt fra 407 HK til 455 og rekkevidden er \u00f8kt fra 46 til 68 km &#8211; p\u00e5 papiret.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&laquo;V\u00e5r&raquo; bil er en tidlig 2022-modell basert p\u00e5 forrige oppgradering fra mai\/juni i 2019. Ogs\u00e5 da fikk batteripakken en etterlengtet kapasitets\u00f8kning og en liten facelift. Etter hva jeg kan se, har alle modeller fra 2022 n\u00e5 skjulte ender\u00f8r. Det virker ogs\u00e5 som 2023-modellen produseres uten utvendige endringer fra 2022-modellene.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDa den f\u00f8rste generasjonen av XC90 kom i 2002, forundret jeg meg over at mange av dem som fant bilen tiltalende, aldri tidligere hadde vist noen interesse for biler &#8211; mange av dem kvinner. Stor, solid, sikker og familievennlig Volvo klikker fortsatt flere bokser hos mange. Han kjenner XC90 ganske godt. <em>&laquo;Jeg kj\u00f8rer alltid i power modus, &#8211; ellers blir den for dau&raquo;<\/em>. XC90 er kanskje ikke f\u00f8rstevalget til &laquo;keen drivers&raquo;. Men jeg forst\u00e5r min s\u00f8nn. Setter du bilen i &laquo;power&raquo;, reagerer den spontant p\u00e5 gassen p\u00e5 samme m\u00e5te som en sprek elbil. Da jeg sjekket bilens kj\u00f8recomputer p\u00e5 &laquo;v\u00e5r&raquo; XC90, fant jeg bensinforbruket fra tidligere sj\u00e5f\u00f8re(r). Gjennomsnittlig forbruk var p\u00e5 hele 1,3 liter\/10 km! Kj\u00f8rer du aktivt, kan nok XC90 oppleves som en bensinsluker. I standard &laquo;hybrid&raquo; modus oppleves bilen som en helt normal hybridbil. Det passet meg godt i det jeg bega meg ut i trafikken i Oslo sentrum.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Stor bil<\/h3>\n<p>Stor bil i byen passer fint hvis du bor p\u00e5 Snar\u00f8ya og jobber i et kontorbygg med egen parkering. Jeg noterte meg at flere av parkeringslommene p\u00e5 Oslo City rett og slett ville v\u00e6re for smale for &laquo;min&raquo; XC90. Man f\u00e5r god hjelp av kameraet som viser bilens plassering i fugleperspektiv. Da slipper man \u00e5 \u00e5pne d\u00f8ren for \u00e5 se om man er innenfor markeringene. Ute i bytrafikken la jeg ogs\u00e5 merke til at jeg hadde god sikt alle veier. Volvos blindsonevarslere er likevel gode \u00e5 ha, da de ogs\u00e5 varsler om myke trafikanter. Skal du parkere gatelangs i smale bygater, kan du nok til tider \u00f8nske deg en mindre bil. <\/p>\n\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_52879\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-52879\" style=\"width: tur<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg ladet batteriene til anstendige 75% f\u00f8r vi dro. Beregnet rekkevidde ble usle 25 km uten at det egentlig spilte noen rolle. Vi var p\u00e5 vei til Skien og kj\u00f8rte i hybrid modus hvor bilen automatisk fordeler kreftene. Milene p\u00e5 motorveien ned til Grelland gikk som smurt. Behagelig lavt st\u00f8yniv\u00e5 dominert av lyden fra 22 tommers monsterhjul og P5 hits p\u00e5 et premium musikkanlegg. Vi fortsatte mot Hvittingfoss og nedover L\u00e5gendalen. No stress. Bilen skiftet s\u00f8ml\u00f8st mellom bensinmotor, elmotor og fri rulling uten at vi merket noe.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nFra Steinsholt tar trafikken av mot Siljan. Her begynner veien med svinger og bakker. Jeg merket at bilen skiftet karakter. En fin brumming fra motoren og kjappe girskift. Monsterdekkene ga kjempegrep i svingene. Bilens understell er en tanke stivt men fremdeles komfortabelt ettersom det fanger opp ujevnhetene fint. Det er utrolig at en bil p\u00e5 to og et kvart tonn kan bevege seg s\u00e5 lett!<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nVi var p\u00e5 vei til Borgestad kirke for \u00e5 stelle en familiegrav for h\u00f8stkulden. Da kona mi var barn, kj\u00f8rte familien hennes samme vei for \u00e5 bes\u00f8ke besteforeldre i Skien. Vi satte s\u00f8kelys p\u00e5 komforten. Det er ikke hver dag vi kj\u00f8rer biler som kostet en og en kvart million. Vi fors\u00f8ker \u00e5 benchmarke den med en annen bil, en BMW 530d M sport vi hadde under et bes\u00f8k i Essex for noen \u00e5r siden. Da fikk vi utdelt den flotteste leiebilen p\u00e5 hele flyplassen! Ogs\u00e5 den med et fantastisk og kostbart understell. Kona mi syntes BMW&#8217;en hadde mer komfortable seter, mykere skinn og mykere stopping som omsluttet deg. Komfortmessig ble det alts\u00e5 1-0 til BMW. <em>&laquo;Men DU liker sikkert disse setene bedre&raquo;<\/em>,  parerte hun. Ganske riktig! For meg er f\u00f8rersetet i Nubuck-skinn og alcantara som en individuelt ergometrisk tilpasset direkt\u00f8r-kontorstol. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">P\u00e5 gamle veier<\/h3>\n<p>Etter lunsj i Eidanger tok vi den lange veien hjem via gamleveien til Larvik, den som g\u00e5r over gamle Langangen. Som kjent fikk Langangen en helt ny bru i 1979. F\u00f8r det gikk E18 nedenom Langangen sentrum med bratte partier p\u00e5 begge sider. P\u00e5 den ene siden ligger &laquo;korketrekkeren&raquo; &#8211; et veiparti som er formet som en sl\u00f8yfe for ikke \u00e5 bli for bratt. Dette veipartiet ble faktisk anlagt allerede s\u00e5 tidlig som 1858 &#8211; 1861. Dagens betongbro ble bygget av tyskerne under krigen fordi de ikke fikk materiellet sitt under den gamle steinbrua. Og anlegget var alts\u00e5 i bruk helt frem til 1979. Sammen med turen tilbake endte vi p\u00e5 280 km og et gjennomsnittsforbruk p\u00e5 0,85 liter\/10 km. Da vi startet, hadde vi 25 km p\u00e5 batteriet. Hadde vi toppet opp til 30 km f\u00f8r hjemturen, kunne vi ha redusert det totale snittforbruket til 0,75 liter\/10 km. Men det er kun teoretisk. Siden bilen kun aksepterer 3,6 Kw, er det ikke hensiktsmessig \u00e5 lade langs veien. Poenget er at hvis du kan lade hjemme, l\u00f8nner det seg \u00e5 starte langturen p\u00e5 fulle batterier.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">35 km rekkevidde<\/h3>\n<p>&laquo;V\u00e5r&raquo; bil er en tidlig 2022-modell med batterikapasitet p\u00e5 11,6 kwh brutto og 9,1 kwh netto. Oppgitt rekkevidde er 46 km. Etter \u00e5 ha ladet fullt etter langturen, endte estimert rekkevidde p\u00e5 35 km. Dagen etter kj\u00f8rte jeg &laquo;til jobben&raquo; i &laquo;pure&raquo; modus. Vel fremme etter 12 km bykj\u00f8ring var estimert rekkevidde redusert tilsvarende. Det er bra. Da stemte oppgitt rekkevidde med virkeligheten. 35 km er ikke mye, men ville ha dekket <em>min<\/em> reisevei begge veier. Og forresten s\u00e5 fungerte bilen fint p\u00e5 str\u00f8m.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nBiler levert fra januar 2022 fikk h\u00f8yere batterikapasitet,  18,7 kwh brutto og 14,8 netto. Oppgitt rekkevidde er 68 km, men reelt forbruk er sannsynligvis tilsvarende lavere.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">U\u00f8nsket motordur<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg ville bekymret meg lite over at reell rekkevidde p\u00e5 str\u00f8m kun er 35 km. Om du kj\u00f8rer lenger, har du uansett spart bensin for 35 km. Det som irriterer meg mest med drivverket, er at n\u00e5r jeg starter opp i hybrid modus inne i en fellesgarasje, begynner bensinmotoren \u00e5 g\u00e5 etter kort tid &#8211; og den g\u00e5r i et monotont h\u00f8yt tomgangsturtall &#8211; som en billig generator fra Biltema &#8211; til tross for at det faktisk <em>er<\/em> str\u00f8m p\u00e5 batteriet. Det samme kan ogs\u00e5 skje n\u00e5r jeg ankommer. N\u00e5r jeg man\u00f8vrerer en hybridbil  i millionklassen &#8211; i gangfart, forventer jeg at den er intelligent nok til \u00e5 bruke gjenv\u00e6rende str\u00f8m uten \u00e5 starte bensinmotoren. Det er faktisk \u00e9n av grunnene til at man velger hybridbil &#8211; og kanskje legger i noen kroner ekstra.<\/p>\n\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_52883\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-52883\" bruk rommer bagasjerommet 640 liter pluss et lite rom under til ladekabler og lignende. Det er p\u00e5 h\u00f8yde med konkurrentene Audi og BMW. Som 7-seter er det kun plass til 262 liter. De to bakerste setene er fortrinnsvis for barn og passer fint n\u00e5r man skal kj\u00f8re dem til fotballkamper. Den innvendige plassen omgj\u00f8res lett til ett flatt gulv og det er lett \u00e5 lage fleksible l\u00f8sninger for eksempel \u00e5 kombinere frakt av lange eller uformelige gjenstander sammen med passasjerer. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Sikkerhet<\/h3>\n<p>Volvo XC90 ble testet av Euro NCAP i 2015 med dieselmotor D5 uten batteripakke. Den scoret da 5\/5 stjerner, fikk 97% for voksne dukker og 87% for barn. I test av sideveis kollisjon med stolpe ble det oppdaget at bakre del av kollisjonsgardinen ikke felte seg ut som den skulle. Det kunne v\u00e6re uheldig for passasjerene i 3. seterad. Ladbare hybridbiler vil sannsynligvis tape markedsandeler til rene elbiler &#8211; ikke minst Volvos nye store el-SUV. Det kan gi h\u00f8yt verditap. Jeg anbefaler heller at man finner en XC90 p\u00e5 bruktmarkedet. Ettersom Volvo sannsynligvis har gjort l\u00f8pende forbedringer av drivverket &#8211; og fra mai\/juni 2019 \u00f8kt batterikapasitet og rekkevidde, er dette en serie jeg anbefaler.
