Den aller f\u00f8rste personbilen fra Mazda var utstyrt med \u201dstrikkmotor\u201d, men ble en god start for fabrikken.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2_first\">Mazdas f\u00f8rste personbil<\/h3>\n<p>Da Mazda kom til Norge tidlig p\u00e5 1960 tallet, ble det av de fleste oppfattet som et helt nytt merke. Men denne fabrikken som holder til i Hiroshima i Japan, kan f\u00f8re historien helt tilbake til 1920. I starten ble det produsert forskjellige industrielle produkter. Produksjon av kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y startet med motorsykler rundt 1930, og de f\u00f8rste bilene kom som lette lastebiler noen \u00e5r senere. Personbiler i serieproduksjon startet i 1960 med den lille R-360. Senere kom modellene 1500 og 1800 som var noen lekre modeller med design fra Bertone. Mazda startet som en av de f\u00f8rste bilprodusentene med wankelmotorer i sine biler. Den f\u00f8rste modellen var en sportsvogn med lekkert design. Salget av Mazda i Norge startet i 1967. Mazda havnet fort p\u00e5 salgstoppen med modellene 818, 616 og 929. Driftsikre biler med god pris tiltalte norske bilkj\u00f8pere. Siden det har Mazda v\u00e6rt kjent for sine familiebiler.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Mazda R-360 Coupe<\/h3>\n<p>Denne lille japanske kameraten kom aldri til Norge s\u00e5 vidt vi vet. Men den er et symbol p\u00e5 hvordan bilprodusentene fors\u00f8kte \u00e5 tilpasse seg virkeligheten etter at freden kom i 1945. Det meste manglet, b\u00e5de veier, bensin og biler. L\u00f8sningene som bilprodusentene kom opp med, var enkle og billige biler som var billige i drift. Mazda startet produksjonen av store lastebiler og fabrikken var etablert som bilprodusent. Allerede i 1960 kom som tidligere nevnt den lille 360 modellen. Det var en 2 d\u00f8rs kupe som ble sv\u00e6rt popul\u00e6r hjemme i Japan. I Japan var det en egen skatteklasse for biler med motorer som var mindre enn 360 ccm. De fleste japanske bilprodusentene leverte sm\u00e5biler i denne klassen men Mazda ble en av markedslederne. Mazda videreutviklet modellserien med liten 4 seters modell.
