Bilmerket Alfa Romeo toppet begge egenskapene, og ble ber\u00f8mt b\u00e5de blant bilsportsut\u00f8vere og andre fartsglade sj\u00e5f\u00f8rer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Tidlige \u00e5r<\/h3>\n<p>Siden vi nevnte fart og kj\u00f8reegenskaper, m\u00e5 vi g\u00e5 tilbake til starten av Alfa Romeo. Det var s\u00e5 langt tilbake som i 1906, hvor flere bilinteresserte herrer satte seg ned for \u00e5 planlegge den nye bilfabrikken. I starten ble det laget biler basert p\u00e5 franske konstruksjoner, men etter hvert bestemte man seg for \u00e5 gj\u00f8re alt p\u00e5 egenh\u00e5nd. Allerede i 1911 kom de f\u00f8rste egenutviklede bilene i produksjon i sm\u00e5 serier. Bilene fra den nye fabrikken fikk navnet A.L.F.A. Erfaringene fra den tidligere lisensproduksjonen av franske biler med svake motorer la grunnlaget for de nye produktene. N\u00e5 skulle det produseres biler som kunne konkurrere med andre hurtige biler. S\u00e5 tidlig som i 1913 kom en helt lukket str\u00f8mlinjeformet spesialbygget modell som vakte oppsikt i bilverdenen. i 1915 ble fabrikken overtatt av Nicolo Romeo og den byttet litt senere navn til Alfa Romeo.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Enzo Ferrari kj\u00f8rte for Alfa Romeo<\/h3>\n<p>Fabrikken begynte \u00e5 delta innen motorsporten, og allerede i 1920 var den f\u00f8rste seieren i havn. En av de store bilf\u00f8rerne som var med p\u00e5 fabrikklaget fra starten var Enzo Ferarri. Satsing p\u00e5 bill\u00f8p og nye sportsmodeller for landeveien, ga fabrikken et godt navn blant bilinteresserte.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Alfa Romeo 164<\/h3>\n<p>Alfa Romeo produserte ogs\u00e5 kjappe familiebiler i mange st\u00f8rrelser og varianter. Modellen 164 som ble introdusert i 1987, var en luksuri\u00f8s 4-d\u00f8rs familiebil. Den kom som et resultat av et samarbeid med Fiat, Lancia og Saab. Alfa 164 ble bare produsert som ren personbil med 4 d\u00f8rer. Modellen kom med en rekke motoralternativ i tillegg den spreke 2 liters motoren som stod i den rimeligste varianten. Motoren var utstyrt med 2 tennplugger p\u00e5 hver sylinder, og hadde betegnelsen &laquo;Twin Spark&raquo; og hadde nok hestekrefter til riktig sportslig kj\u00f8ring. For den som \u00f8nsket flere hester, kunne 164 leveres med en V6 motor. Det kom sv\u00e6rt f\u00e5 endringer p\u00e5 164 under produksjonsperioden som varte til 1998. De f\u00e5 endringene som ble innf\u00f8rt, var noen flere hester og mer utstyr.<\/p>\n<p><a
