Her ombygget til campingbil.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Hvis du bygger om en veteranbil til bobil, kan du skape din egen tidsboble og tilbringe mange dager i den.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Et rullende prosjekt<\/h3>\n<p>Bilen p\u00e5 bildene har registreringsnumre fra nyere tid, men mangler synlig forsikringsbevis i frontruta som er obligatorisk i Frankrike. Gjennom frontvinduet kunne jeg skimte innredning av tre eller trefin\u00e9r som er typisk for bobiler. P\u00e5bygget over taket ser ut som en sovealkove og patinaen vitner om at det har fulgt bilen i mange \u00e5r. Dette kan virke som et rullende prosjekt. En bil som ferdig innredet kan benyttes til retro-camping.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Hippiekultur<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg tok bildene tidligere i h\u00f8st &#8211; i en landsby i Syd-Frankrike. Der er det mulig for frihetss\u00f8kende mennesker \u00e5 bo i bobiler \u00e5ret rundt. En bil som dette, er spesiell p\u00e5 flere m\u00e5ter. F\u00f8rst og fremst fordi den er mer enn 60 \u00e5r gammel Peugeot D4 &#8211; en modell som er sv\u00e6rt sjelden &#8211; selv i Frankrike. Doningen er ogs\u00e5 interessant for sitt meget spesielle p\u00e5bygg. Den ble utviklet under krigen og satt i produksjon fra 1947 av bilprodusenten <em>Chenard-Walcker<\/em>. Motorene ble levert fra Peugeot og var samme motor som satt i datidens Peugeot 202. Motorene gikk imidlertid ut av produksjon da Peugeot 203 ble lansert. I f\u00f8lge hjemmesidene til <a href=\"http:\/\/lesamisdechenard.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Venner av Chenard &#038; Walcker<\/strong><\/a> nektet Peugeot \u00e5 levere de nye 203-motorene til Chenard-Walcker, noe som bidro til at selskapet ikke greidde seg og etter hvert ble tatt over av Peugeot. D3 ble selskapets siste modell &#8211; som ble en ny, etterlengtet modell hos Peugeot. Peugeot D3 ble produsert i flere serier &#8211; alle med motorer hentet fra Peugeots personbilprogram, f\u00f8rst fra 203, &#8211; senere fra 403. Fra 1955 ble modellen kalt Peugeot D4.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Moderne teknologi<\/h3>\n<p>Foruten endringene under motorkassa ble det gjort kun minimale endringer i utseendet. P\u00e5 folkemunne ble det spesielle frontpartiet omtalt som &laquo;grisetrynet&raquo; (nez de cochon). Til tross for det gammelmodige utseendet var D3 og D4 avanserte biler for sin tid med selvb\u00e6rende karosseri, forhjulsdrift og uavhengig fj\u00e6ring p\u00e5 alle 4 hjul og 12 volts elsystem &#8211; takket v\u00e6re Chenard-Walcker som hadde produsert biler helt siden 1898. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">I offentlig tjeneste<\/h3>\n<p>Peugeot D3\/D4 kunne leveres som buss og varebil &#8211; og mange biler ble levert til politi-, brann- og redningstjeneste. Bilene var ogs\u00e5 popul\u00e6re som b\u00e5rebil. Noen ble spesialinnredet som foodtruck. Det er uvisst om noen tilb\u00f8d innrednings-l\u00f8sninger og ombygging til campingbil. Etterf\u00f8lgeren, Peugeot J7, var i alle fall v\u00e6rt sv\u00e6rt popul\u00e6r som campingbil. Det ble laget flere takl\u00f8sninger for camping til denne modellen &#8211; p\u00e5 samme m\u00e5te som til  Volkswagen T2 og T3. Likevel lever enkelte Peugeot D3\/D4 videre som sympatiske bobiler, men h\u00f8yst sannsynlig bygget om i ettertid.<\/p>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_45322\"
