DinSide\/Dagbladet har advart leserne om at vinterrekkevidden kan falle til det halve. I fjor\u00e5rets kuldetest endte Tesla 3 opp med kun 53% av oppgitt rekkevidde. Ikke la deg skremme!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2bigger\">Ingen eksakt vitenskap<\/h3>\n<p>Offisielle rekkeviddetall (WLTP Combined) m\u00e5ler rekkevidde under ideelle forhold som ikke er p\u00e5virket av ytre omstendigheter. Ute p\u00e5 veien derimot, er det sjelden man oppn\u00e5r like gode rekkevidder. Det skal ikke mer til enn v\u00e5t veibane f\u00f8r man merker det p\u00e5 rekkevidden. Jeg har kj\u00f8rt ganske mange forskjellige elbiler. Min erfaring er at reell rekkevidde under gunstige forhold er omtrent 4\/5-deler av de offisielle tallene, men det er alts\u00e5 f\u00f8r &laquo;rekkevidde-tyvene&raquo; dukker opp. Kulde stjeler rekkevidde &#8211; men ikke like ille som Dinside\/Dagbladet rapporterer.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Fra Dinside\/Dagbladets test&#8230;<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dinside.dagbladet.no\/motor\/sa-kort-gar-elbilene-i-kulda\/74407847\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>DinSide\/Dagbladet<\/strong><\/a> testet Tesla 3 sammen med andre biler i 2020. Utetemperaturen var da &laquo;bare&raquo; -9 grader. Under de f\u00f8rste 10 kilometerne skal varmeapparat, defroster og setevarme ha blitt brukt som normalt. Gjennomsnittshastigheten skal ha v\u00e6rt 75 km\/t. 2020-utgaven av Tesla 3 har en oppgitt rekkevidde p\u00e5 560 km. Testen avsl\u00f8rte at reell vinterrekkevidde var p\u00e5 bare 301 km. Nyere Tesla 3 levert i 2021 er utstyrt med varmepumpe. Det gir bedre vinterrekkevidde. Men manglende varmepumpe kan neppe v\u00e6re \u00e5rsak til det store kapasitetstapet.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Ikke normalt<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg kj\u00f8rer ofte Tesla Model 3 i kulde og kan med h\u00e5nden p\u00e5 hjertet si at jeg aldri har opplevd samme rekkeviddetap p\u00e5 langkj\u00f8ring i vinterkulde som DinSide\/Dagbladet skriver om. Det er sikkert <em>mulig<\/em> men langt fra normalt. Resultatene publisert i Dagbladet, gir et tabloid inntrykk av elbiler og kulde som elbileiere ikke kjenner igjen.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Et mer nyansert bilde<\/h3>\n<p>Denne uken m\u00e5lte jeg forbruk mellom Fornebu og \u00d8yer &#8211; en strekning p\u00e5 omlag 20 mil som jeg kj\u00f8rer ofte. Jeg valgte \u00e5 kj\u00f8re Riksvei 4 via Gj\u00f8vik hvor typisk gjennomsnittsfart er 75 km\/t. Turen startet i oppvarmet garasje. Mellom Nittedal og \u00d8yer sank temperaturen gradvis fra -10 til -13. Gjennomsnittsforbruket de siste 50 km var 15.8 Kwh\/100 km. Bilen ble varmet opp til 20 grader med forvarming av batteriene. Man b\u00f8r forvarme helt til iskrystall-symbolet p\u00e5 skjermen forsvinner. Det slukkes ikke f\u00f8r temperaturen inne i batteriene n\u00e5r 19 grader &#8211; noe som gjerne tar en halv time. Jeg plottet inn Teslas Supercharger p\u00e5 \u00d8yer som f\u00f8rste destinasjon. Da ble batteriene automatisk forvarmet f\u00f8r ankomst. P\u00e5 \u00d8yer var utetemperaturen -11 grader. Fra 40 til 70% batterikapasitet tok bilen i mot lading p\u00e5 56 Kw etter f\u00e5 sekunder. Ikke superbra &#8211; men normalt n\u00e5r det st\u00e5r flere biler til lading.<\/p>\n<p>Da jeg dro videre, var snittforbruket h\u00f8yt &#8211; 26.1 Kwh\/100 km. Det bekymret meg en smule. Med et s\u00e5 h\u00f8yt forbruk ville rekkevidden ende p\u00e5 usle 280 km &#8211; alts\u00e5 verre enn hva Dinside\/Dagbladet oppn\u00e5dde. Temperaturen holdt seg p\u00e5 -11 langs riksvei 4 helt til Nittedal. Forbruket falt ned til omkring 17.5 Kwh\/100 km og endte opp p\u00e5 13.9 Kwh\/100 km de siste 50 km. Beregnet vinterrekkevidde ble 401 km &#8211; helt i tr\u00e5d med hva jeg har erfart tidligere. <\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<blockquote><p>Hadde jeg avsluttet &laquo;testen&raquo; etter 50 km, ville jeg havnet p\u00e5 et beregnet (ikke reelt) niv\u00e5 som DinSide\/Dagbladet. Motor.no har nylig presentert resultatene av en grundig vintertest av rekkevidde p\u00e5 elbiler. De gir et inntrykk elbileiere lettere kan kjenne seg igjen i, selv om Motors testere nok har kj\u00f8rt langt mer \u00f8konomisk enn oss andre. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motor.no\/aktuelt\/motors-store-vintertest-av-rekkevidde-pa-elbiler\/217132\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Les testen i Motor<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2bigger\">Rekkevidde-tyvene<\/h3>\n<p>Beregning av rekkevidde er som nevnt ingen eksakt vitenskap. Hvorfor oppn\u00e5dde jeg h\u00f8yere vinterrekkevidde enn DinSide\/Dagbladet? Hastighet og temperaturer var jo sammenfallende. Kan Dagbladets test ha begynt f\u00f8r batteriet hadde oppn\u00e5dd riktig arbeidstemperatur? Ble total-rekkevidden beregnet p\u00e5 grunnlag av de aller f\u00f8rste milene? I s\u00e5 fall ville jeg f\u00e5tt samme resultat, men det ville ikke vise reell vinterrekkevidde p\u00e5 <em>langkj\u00f8ring<\/em>. Uansett finnes det flere andre faktorer som kan stjele rekkevidde. Her er &laquo;rekkevidde-tyvene&raquo;:<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Hastighet og kj\u00f8restil<\/h3>\n<p>P\u00e5 reiseruten mellom Oslo og Biri kan man velge mellom \u00e5 kj\u00f8re E6 eller riksvei 4. E6 best\u00e5r av motorvei hvor man kan kj\u00f8re mye fortere enn p\u00e5 riksvei 4. Jeg har erfart at hastigheter mellom 100-120 km\/t tapper batteriene omtrent like mye som kuldegrader. Kombinasjonen h\u00f8y fart og kuldegrader vil derfor tappe batteriene i rekordfart!<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Utetemperatur<\/h3>\n<p>Det er en direkte sammenheng mellom utetemperatur og rekkevidde. For det f\u00f8rste mister batteriene kapasitet i kulda. Dessuten bruker batteriene lengre tid p\u00e5 \u00e5 ta i mot lading, noe som gj\u00f8r at de ikke f\u00e5r tilf\u00f8rt regenerativ energi under kj\u00f8ring. F\u00f8r du legger ut p\u00e5 lang tur er det viktig \u00e5 f\u00e5 forvarmet batteriene. Sjekk mulighetene for forvarming og start denne fra app&#8217;en i god tid f\u00f8r avreise. Tidligere skrudde jeg ned varmen i elbiler til 16-18 grader, men har erfart at det ikke ga m\u00e5lbart h\u00f8yere rekkevidde i forhold til \u00e5 kj\u00f8re med komfortabel innetemperatur. Dessuten benytter enkelte biler &#8211; Renault Zoe, Nissan Leaf og Hyundai Ioniq (-2019) &#8211; luft fra kup\u00e9\/klimaanlegg til \u00e5 varme batteriene. I Tesla 3 forvarmes batteriene n\u00e5r man varmer bilen via Tesla-appen. Jeg utelukker derfor ikke at det kan v\u00e6re en win-win situasjon \u00e5 ha samme temperatur i kupeen som batteriene trenger. Men det har neppe noen positiv effekt \u00e5 skru innetemperaturen opp til 25 grader. Da kan det v\u00e6re bedre \u00e5 ha p\u00e5 svak setevarme for de som liker det.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">V\u00e6r og f\u00f8re<\/h3>\n<p>P\u00e5 vei hjemover var det saltet over Lygna og innover mot Oslo. Salt gir v\u00e5t veibane som reduserer rekkevidde i forhold til t\u00f8rr vintervei. Slaps og sn\u00f8 reduserer rekkevidde enda mer. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Vinterdekk<\/h3>\n<p>Hvis du bestilte Tesla 3 med piggfrie vinterdekk (2020), fikk du Nokian Hakkapelitta R3. Dette er ett av vinterdekkene med lavest rullemotstand. Det har likevel mer rullemotstand enn de originale sommerdekkene. Piggdekk har h\u00f8yere rullemotstand enn piggfrie dekk. Alle som sykler med piggdekk, vet hvordan de suger energi. Mine vinterhjul er 18 tommer. 19 tommer ser bedre ut men gir h\u00f8yere rullemotstand. I et Tesla-forum s\u00e5 jeg at 19 tommers sommerdekk ga et \u00f8kt forbruk p\u00e5 2,3% i forhold til 18-tommere.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Dekktrykk<\/h3>\n<p>I ekstrem vinterkulde kan dekktrykket falle. Etter to dager i 17-20 minusgrader hadde dekktrykket p\u00e5 min bil falt med 0,1 bar (2 psi). Ofte \u00f8ker dekktrykket n\u00e5r dekkene kommer p\u00e5 veien, s\u00e5 jeg regnet med \u00e5 f\u00e5 dekktrykket tilbake p\u00e5 turen. Det skjedde ikke. Den tapte luften m\u00e5tte etterfylles. Noen sier at man b\u00f8r \u00f8ke lufttrykket i vinterdekkene i forhold til hva bilprodusenten sier. Jeg har gjort det og har kanskje f\u00e5tt bedre rekkevidde, men avkortet dekkenes levetid. Av og til undrer man seg over hvor rekkevidden ble av? S\u00e5nn er det bare. Det som forbauser meg, er hvor mye rekkevidde som forsvinner i h\u00f8ye hastigheter. Kulde, derimot, har aldri gitt noen negative opplevelser. Jeg har kj\u00f8rt flere ulike elbiler i vinterkulde &#8211; ogs\u00e5 biler med lav rekkevidde. De har t\u00e5lt kulde langt bedre enn jeg forventet.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nBasert p\u00e5 egne erfaringer er det <em>ikke<\/em> normalt \u00e5 f\u00e5 rekkevidden halvert i kuldegrader uten at det er andre faktorer som stjeler rekkevidde. Det beste r\u00e5det jeg kan gi, er \u00e5 gj\u00f8re seg kjent med app og forvarming &#8211; og bruke det hvis bilen ikke er plugget inn.
