Det er en bil man kj\u00f8per fordi man trenger en h\u00f8ybygd sm\u00e5bil &#8211; og \u00f8nsker at den skal se ut som nettopp det.<\/em><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDet var positivt ment. Mange \u00f8nsker nemlig en praktisk og usnobbete bil &#8211; et kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y som utstr\u00e5ler livsstil. Dagens modell har ikke lenger noe lekebil-preg. Citroen har skapt et mer modent SUV-design. Dermed appellerer bilen til en st\u00f8rre gruppe kj\u00f8pere. Ellers er det f\u00e5 endringer \u00e5 melde om. Jeg legger merke til ny dekor p\u00e5 bakre sidevindu og nye felger &#8211; sannsynligvis avhengig av utstyrsgrad. Innvendig er det kule h\u00e5ndbrekket fra forgjengeren blitt erstattet med en vanlig h\u00e5ndbrekkspak. Infotainment-skjermen er st\u00f8rre enn f\u00f8r. Deler av f\u00f8rerassistanse-systemene er ogs\u00e5 forbedret. De er p\u00e5 h\u00f8yde med hva man finner i &laquo;alle&raquo; nye familiebiler i dag. Motorer og girkasser er de samme som tidligere. Jeg noterer meg at 1,2 PureTech 110-motoren ikke lenger tilbys med automatgir. Den er utstyrt med PureTech-motoren p\u00e5 130 HK og automatgir (EAT6). Utstyrsgrad er Shine Pack med blant annet panorama soltak og de beste setene. PSA-gruppens 3-sylindrede motor avgir et ganske markant 3-sylindret lydbilde n\u00e5r den presses, men det beh\u00f8ves sjelden med 130-hesteren. Automatgiret holder turtallet nede p\u00e5 det dreiemomentsterke turtallsomr\u00e5det. Motoren f\u00f8les kraftfull og man h\u00f8rer kun en behagelig, svak brumming. Drivverk som dette, innbyr ikke til h\u00f8ye turtall og sportslig kj\u00f8ring &#8211; selv ikke n\u00e5r girkassa girer i sportmodus. Kraftfull motor, lite slagvolum, turbo og automatgir. En typisk karakteristikk ved 3-sylindrede motorer er vibrasjoner p\u00e5 lave turtall og p\u00e5 tomgang. Start &#038; stopp-systemet gj\u00f8r at motoren fader ut n\u00e5r man st\u00e5r stille. Det er ingen merkbar turbolag ved <em>normal<\/em> igangkj\u00f8ring. Drivverket fungerer forbausende smooth s\u00e5 lenge bilen f\u00f8lger programmerte kj\u00f8rem\u00f8nstre, men det kan lett komme i ulage. Tenk deg at du skal ut i en rundkj\u00f8ring &#8211; n\u00f8ler et kort \u00f8yeblikk f\u00f8r du velger \u00e5 gi gass rett foran et kryssende kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y. Da vil drivverket lett kunne henge igjen &#8211; bruke et par sekunder p\u00e5 \u00e5 bestemme seg &#8211; f\u00f8r den f\u00e5r opp dampen. Jeg er enig. P\u00e5 veien f\u00f8les bilen nemlig som en ordentlig SUV &#8211; st\u00f8rre enn hva den egentlig er. Jeg sitter h\u00f8yt, har god romf\u00f8lelse og et understell som elegant fanger alle ujevnheter. Jeg er generelt skeptisk til stabiliteten ved h\u00f8ye, lette biler som dette, men C3 AIrcross f\u00f8les helt trygg. Styringen er ikke superskarp. Det f\u00f8les som man sitter et stykke unna hjulene (\u00f8kt SUV-f\u00f8lelse), men jeg har likevel alright styref\u00f8lelse. Som mange av SUV&#8217;ene jeg har kj\u00f8rt i det siste, gjelder det \u00e5 kunne kj\u00f8re litt aktivt p\u00e5 svingete og kuperte veier, &#8211; ikke komme for fort inn i svingene &#8211; s\u00e5nn at man kan gi gass p\u00e5 vei ut. Hvis ikke kan bilen lett begynne \u00e5 rulle. P\u00e5 landevei og spansk motorvei i 120 km\/t er komforten fantastisk god. Det er allsidigheten og plassutnyttelsen jeg tenker p\u00e5. Baksetene kan skyves frem for \u00e5 f\u00e5 mer bagasje. Passasjersetet har nedfellbart rygglene. Bagasjerommet med oppsl\u00e5tte seter, er ikke enormt, &#8211; men 410 liter er meget godt for en bil som kun er 4,15 meter lang. Ved \u00e5 skyve frem baksetene kan bagasjerommet \u00f8kes til 520 under hattehyllen.
