Vi har kj\u00f8rt det minste drivverket &#8211; det som totalt gir 204 HK. Velger du Octavia iV RS, f\u00e5r du et kraftigere drivverk p\u00e5 245 HK.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Velpr\u00f8vd hybridl\u00f8sning<\/h3>\n<p>Vi kjenner igjen hybriddrivverket fra tidligere modeller av Audi og Volkswagen. I dag er batterikapasiteten \u00f8kt til 13 Kwh mot tidligere 8,8. Forbedringen er et resultat av endret cellekjemi uten at det har v\u00e6rt n\u00f8dvendig \u00e5 \u00f8ke batterikassens fysiske m\u00e5l. \u00d8kt batterikapasitet gir lengere rekkevidde i elmodus. Nye Audi A3 40 TFSI e og Volkswagen Golf 1.4 eHybrid 204 har begge samme batteripakke som Octavia. Deres oppgitte rekkevidde er 65 km m\u00e5lt etter WLTP. De oppgitte tallene for Octavia er ikke like entydige. Brosjyremateriellet antyder rekkevidde p\u00e5 &laquo;mer enn 50 km (WLTP)&raquo;. Ordlyden er ikke gal, og kan forsvares med at praktisk rekkevidde kan variere mye i praksis. Men man kan ogs\u00e5 mistenke at det forsiktige anslaget skyldes at Skoda ikke har f\u00e5tt tilgang til oppgradert teknologi eller har m\u00e5ttet gj\u00f8re inngrep i programvaren. Den nye fronten er  lavere og bredere. Linjene er skarpere &#8211; spesielt i bakpartiet &#8211; uten at noen vil heve \u00f8yenbrynene. Man fornemmer en bil som er praktisk og uj\u00e5lete &#8211; p\u00e5 grensen til det trauste. Ogs\u00e5 innvendig. Gode seter med god sidest\u00f8tte, digitale instrumenter og midtstilt infotainmentsystem. I likhet med Enyaq er dashbordet kledt i stoff fra innredningen. Det gir en lun og hjemmekoselig atmosf\u00e6re. Alle hendler er der man forventer \u00e5 finne dem. Girspaken er erstattet med en elektronisk bryter som fungerer som en PRND automatgirspak. Infotainmentsystemet er funksjonelt sett &laquo;midt p\u00e5 treet&raquo;. Vi fant radioen og n\u00f8dvendige innstillinger lett. Funksjonene p\u00e5 kj\u00f8recomputeren betjenes fra ratthendlene. Ogs\u00e5 her fant jeg det jeg trengte. Men hvorfor trenger Skoda \u00e5 lage egne brukergrensesnitt? Litt for lett etter min smak. Den strammer seg litt n\u00e5r man velger Sport modus, men jeg valgte likevel \u00e5 beholde Normal modus. Jeg s\u00e5 ingen behov for \u00e5 velge verken Comfort eller Eco. Understellet er det samme som Golf 8 og kan leveres med adaptivt understell. Bilen ligger som forventet godt p\u00e5 veien og sluker ujevnheter helt perfekt. Lydbildet preges av romling fra veien og luftsus. Ingen generende lyder.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Avhengig av str\u00f8m<\/h3>\n<p>Det er krefter nok. Men for \u00e5 f\u00e5 med alle hestene, m\u00e5 det v\u00e6re str\u00f8m p\u00e5 batteriene. N\u00e5r bensinmotoren opererer alene, opplever man bare h\u00f8y motorsurring uten noen s\u00e6rlig boozt. I fart skifter bilen automatisk til n\u00f8ytral n\u00e5r den ikke belastes. Det b\u00e5de \u00f8ker komforten og sparer drivstoff &#8211; noe jeg liker godt ved dette drivverket. Men det skjer kun n\u00e5r du har str\u00f8m p\u00e5 batteriene. Uten str\u00f8m surrer motoren konstant og sender vibrasjoner inn i bilen. Da g\u00e5r bilen automatisk over fra el drift til hybrid drift. Under rolig kj\u00f8ring ble det likevel regenerert nok energi til at elmotoren kunne gi boozt ved akselerasjon og la bilen rulle fritt n\u00e5r forholdene l\u00e5 til rette for det. Poenget er at bilen fungerer fint som selvladende hybrid hvis man velger \u00e5 ikke lade &#8211; eller ikke har mulighet til det. P\u00e5 langkj\u00f8ring i hybrid modus vil bilen sakte forbruke str\u00f8mmen i batteriene, men det vil alts\u00e5 nesten alltid v\u00e6re nok str\u00f8m til \u00e5 dra fordel av hybriddrivverket.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Ikke egnet for lading langs veien<\/h3>\n<p>Dessverre har ikke hybridbiler som dette, mulighet for hurtiglading. Om vi skulle ha valgt \u00e5 lade opp batteriene via Type2-kabel, m\u00e5tte vi ha ventet i over 3 timer. Ladehastigheten er begrenset til 3,6 kw. Dette gj\u00f8r det ikke bare uhensiktsmessig \u00e5 lade langs veien &#8211; det gj\u00f8r det ogs\u00e5 uforholdsmessig dyrt. Hybridbiler skal ikke lades underveis. Ladingen gj\u00f8res enten hjemme eller p\u00e5 arbeidsplassen. Med vanlig stikkontakt kan du lade med 2,3 kw. De store fordelene f\u00e5r du f\u00f8rst hvis du kan gjennomf\u00f8re daglige turer i e-mode. De fleste kan faktisk det, men det avhenger av dine lademuligheter. En privat vegglader er det beste, men med 2,3 kw ladestr\u00f8m fungerer det fint p\u00e5 egen 16A kurs. Fordelen ved \u00e5 kunne kj\u00f8re p\u00e5 str\u00f8m handler ikke bare om kroner og \u00f8re, men ogs\u00e5 om komfort. De fleste som har hybridbil, foretrekker \u00e5 kj\u00f8re i e-mode. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Praktisk forbruk<\/h3>\n<p>Bensinforbruket m\u00e5lt etter WLTP stemmer ikke med virkeligheten, da mesteparten av testen kj\u00f8res p\u00e5 batteriet. V\u00e5rt forbruk over 93 km p\u00e5 landevei, ga 0,45 liter pr mil. Det er helt realstisk hva du vil f\u00e5 p\u00e5 langkj\u00f8ring &#8211; for eksempel til hytta p\u00e5 fjellet. Hvis vi hadde ladet forut for v\u00e5r tur, kunne vi ha kj\u00f8rt i e-mode halve veien. Med hybrid p\u00e5 turer pleier jeg \u00e5 kj\u00f8re i hybrid modus og koble over til ren elmodus de siste kilometrene p\u00e5 vei hjem for \u00e5 kj\u00f8re batteriet tomt og koble den p\u00e5 str\u00f8m hjemme i garasjen.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Praktisk rekkevidde<\/h3>\n<p>Vi har ikke f\u00e5tt kj\u00f8rt ut et fulladet batteri i e-mode og m\u00e5 derfor basere oss p\u00e5 forgjengerens som hadde en rekkevidde p\u00e5 50 km. Daglig kj\u00f8ring langs Store ringvei i Oslo ga oss da reelle rekkevidder mellom 30 og 40 km. Under optimale forhold kunne vi f\u00e5 opptil 45 km. En viktig grunn er hvordan regenerativ bremsing er implementert og brukes. P\u00e5 girspaken kan man veksle mellom &laquo;D&raquo; og &laquo;S&raquo;. &laquo;S&raquo; er for Sport, men n\u00e5r man l\u00f8fter opp gassen, iverksettes regenerativ bremsing &#8211; eller kunstig motorbrems som det ogs\u00e5 kalles. Skoda har laget 3 valgfrie l\u00f8sninger. &laquo;Sterk&raquo; eller &laquo;Svak&raquo; bremsemodus &#8211; eller &laquo;Normal&raquo;. Da finner bilen et bremsem\u00f8nster i forhold til bilens bevegelse, hva den ser p\u00e5 kameraet samt tolking av veikartet &#8211; et ledd mot selvkj\u00f8rende biler. Noen ganger fungerte det perfekt, &#8211; andre ganger d\u00e5rlig. Jeg f\u00f8lte at det \u00f8dela flyten i kj\u00f8ringen, spesielt nedover veier med d\u00e5rlig veimerking og inn mot midlertidige rundkj\u00f8ringer. Adaptiv kj\u00f8refeltassistent s\u00f8rger for at du ikke forlater kj\u00f8refeltet uten \u00e5 blinke. N\u00e5r du kj\u00f8rer p\u00e5 d\u00e5rlig oppmerket vei, blir bilens datamaskin forvirret men skremmer deg allikevel med h\u00f8ylytt &laquo;pling&raquo; om at du m\u00e5 legge deg midt i feltet. Smak og behag. Selv kobler jeg vanligvis ut s\u00e5nne funksjoner. Heldigvis lager ikke Skoda selvkj\u00f8rende biler.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Plass<\/h3>\n<p>Golf-plattformen blir st\u00f8rre for hver generasjon. Generasjon 8 har akselavstand som en fullverdig familiebil. Plassen mellom seteradene er god. Bagasjerommet p\u00e5 ladbare hybrider er 150 liter mindre enn \u00f8vrige varianter, n\u00e6rmere bestemt 490 liter &#8211; eller 1550 liter med nedsl\u00e5tte bakseter. Det er p\u00e5 h\u00f8yde med Audi A4 stasjonsvogn. Hybridl\u00f8sningen stjeler plass i h\u00f8yden. Det finnes et lite rom under gulvet like p\u00e5 innsiden av bakd\u00f8ren for sm\u00e5ting. Deretter stupte salget. Volkswagen-gruppens f\u00f8rste ladbare hybridl\u00f8sning fikk mye oppmerksomhet da den ble lansert i 2014. Siden er den gradvis forbedret, b\u00e5de kvalitetsmessig og ytelsesmessig &#8211; og sitter n\u00e5 ogs\u00e5 i Octavia iV stasjonsvogn.
