UAZ-452 har v\u00e6rt i produksjon siden 1965 og har deltatt p\u00e5 store og sm\u00e5 begivenheter i Russland gjennom \u00e5rene. Men sv\u00e6rt f\u00e5 av bilene har funnet veien til vesten.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Bilen vi har kommet over, tilh\u00f8rer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/akademisk.jegerforening\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Akademisk J\u00e6gerforening<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; en gjeng godt voksne mennesker som arrangerer festlige tilstelninger, gjerne over et tema. UAZ&#8217;en ble for\u00e6rt foreningen i forbindelse med en s\u00e5nn tilstelning. Giveren oppdaget bilen p\u00e5 forretningsreise i Russland og fikk den brakt over til Norge og &laquo;dekorert&raquo; for evenementet den skulle delta i. Dessverre er ikke bilen kj\u00f8rt nevneverdig etter dette &#8211; og har derfor blitt st\u00e5ende et par \u00e5r. Canstockphoto.com<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Fortsatt i produksjon<\/h3>\n<p>UAZ st\u00e5r for Ulyanovsk Automobile Zavod (Ulyanovsk Bilfabrikk) og ligger helt \u00f8st i Russland. Fabrikken lever i beste velg\u00e5ende og produserer lettere nyttekj\u00f8ret\u00f8y og terrengbiler. UAZ-452 er fremdeles med i modellprogrammet. Nye biler har n\u00e5 moderne girkasse, oppgraderte bremser og bedre lydisolasjon. P\u00e5 produsentens <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uaz.ru\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>russiske hjemmeside<\/strong><\/a> har ogs\u00e5 eldre biler f\u00e5tt mye omtale. Det er tydelig at UAZ-452 har en plass i russernes hjerter. Dette er biler som &#8211; i folkets tjeneste &#8211; tok seg helt frem til den minste avkrok &#8211; som sykebil, skoletransport, politibil, milit\u00e6rbil, brann- og redningstjeneste med mer. I dag er UAZ ogs\u00e5 privatbil for mange, spesielt de som beh\u00f8ver \u00e5 komme frem p\u00e5 d\u00e5rlige veier. Konklusjonene er enstemmig: I UAZ-452 er komfort fullstendig frav\u00e6rende &#8211; sett med dagens \u00f8yne. Fj\u00e6ringen er s\u00e5 hard at sm\u00e5 ujevnheter ikke blir fanget opp i det hele tatt. Bilen mangler st\u00f8ydempning. I biler med 4-trinns girkasser er f\u00f8rste- og andregir usynkroniserte. Giringen er dessuten sv\u00e6rt upresis og krever lange bevegelser. Bremser og styring er uten servo. P\u00e5 den positive siden kan det nevnes at bilen har gode terrengegenskaper med innsjaltbar 4-hjulstrekk og lavgirserie. Den kan vade i overraskende h\u00f8yt vann. Bilen har nok ikke like h\u00f8y kultstatus her som i Russland, men tiltaler de som liker VW-busser og Citro\u00ebn H-type. UAZ-452 er enkelt konstruert og helt fri for elektronikk. Alle tekniske l\u00f8sninger er holdbare og reparerbare. Mange er sympatisk innredet bak med to stolrekker vendt mot hverandre hvor man kan ha et bord i mellom. Det finnes biler som er camping-innredet fra fabrikken med Westfalia-tak &#8211; eller man kan innrede selv.
