Det hele startet med produksjon av en enkel varebil og i 1907 dukket de f\u00f8rste personbilene opp p\u00e5 markedet. I 1919 fortsatte utviklingen med introduksjon av en ny bilmodell med en helt ny motor med 6 sylindre. Denne motoren ble legendarisk og ble i produksjon helt frem til 1963 og er den bilmotoren som har v\u00e6rt lengst i produksjon kun sl\u00e5tt av Volkswagen sin boble motor. Men for AC ble motoren inngangen til bilsporten. En rekke seire p\u00e5 1920 tallet ga bilmerket h\u00f8y status i bilsportskretser. Men det ble en turbulent \u00f8konomisk tilv\u00e6relse med flere eierskifter og begrenset produksjon frem til krigsutbruddet i 1939. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Fra 1947 var AC sine sportsbiler igjen i salg. En milep\u00e6l var introduksjonen av AC ACE i 1953. Det var en rendyrket sportsvogn som brakte merket tilbake til gamle h\u00f8yder.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">AC Aceca<\/h3>\n<p>Denne modellen kom ogs\u00e5 som lukket 2 seter i 1954, en riktig sportskupe. Navnet ble AC Aceca og det var en utrolig lekker og praktisk sportsbil. En stor d\u00f8r bak ga utmerket adgang til bagasjeplassen. Denne &laquo;hatchback&raquo; l\u00f8sningen var helt ny, det var bare Aston Martin med modellen DB 2\/4 som var tidligere ute p\u00e5 markedet. Modellen var en riktig sportsbil p\u00e5 godt og ondt. Gode kj\u00f8reegenskaper med sv\u00e6rt harde fj\u00e6rer gikk p\u00e5 bekostning av komforten. En bakdel var ogs\u00e5 at de minste motorene krevde h\u00f8ye turtall for \u00e5 f\u00e5 opp farten. Her var det skikkelig sportsbil for alle pengene. Harde seter, h\u00f8yt st\u00f8yniv\u00e5 og d\u00e5rlig varmeapparat gjorde ogs\u00e5 sitt til \u00e5 begrense interessen. Modellen ble produsert i tidsrommet 1954 &#8211; 1963. Det kan ogs\u00e5 nevnes at den kom i en 4 seters versjon med betegnelsen &laquo;Greyhound&raquo;.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Data AC ACECA<\/h3>\n<p>Lengde 389 cm.<br \/>\nBredde 154 cm.<br
