Mange opplever Polo f\u00f8rste gang som leiebil. Dessverre, kan man si, &#8211; fordi selv om leiebilfirmaene har flere typer av Polo, velger de fleste den billigste. <em>&laquo;Ingen vits i betale mer for samme vare!&raquo;<\/em> Det mange ikke er klar over, er at det er relativ store forskjeller mellom modeller med de minste motorene og de med st\u00f8rre motorer. Det er to helt forskjellige biler, selv om de ser like ut p\u00e5 utsiden.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n\u00c5 kj\u00f8re Polo med 90 HK og oppover, er som \u00e5 kj\u00f8re en litt nedskalert Golf. Personlig mener jeg at det er den beste bilen i sin klasse med tanke p\u00e5 kj\u00f8reglede. Velger du en Polo med 1.0 liters motor, for eksempel den 3-sylindrede MPI motoren med 60 hester (6C), f\u00e5r du imidlertid et annet understell enn 90-hesteren. Forskjellene gj\u00f8r at de to bilene oppleves som to forskjellige biler \u00e5 kj\u00f8re.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nHvilke forskjeller snakker vi om?<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nVolkswagen har ikke v\u00e6rt s\u00e6rlig \u00e5pne med \u00e5 fortelle hvilke forskjeller det er mellom de sm\u00e5 og de st\u00f8rre Polo&#8217;ene. Det samme gjelder for s\u00f8stermodellen Skoda Fabia. Skoda er like tilbakeholdne med informasjon.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nTekniske spesifikasjoner fra Volkswagen forteller om forskjeller i dekkdimensjoner og bremser. De minste modellene har trommelbremser bak, mens st\u00f8rre modeller har skivebremser b\u00e5de foran og bak. Jeg har s\u00f8kt litt p\u00e5 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skruvat.no\"><strong>skruvat.no<\/strong><\/a> og bilopphuggere, og har ogs\u00e5 funnet forskjeller p\u00e5 f\u00f8lgende deler: Bremseskiver foran, fj\u00e6rer foran og bak, stabilisatorstag fremre (\u00f8vre og nedre) og bakre, samt bakaksel. Man kan mene at endringene i understellet er n\u00f8dvendig p\u00e5 grunn av ulike motorer. Jeg er ikke i tvil om at Volkswagen gj\u00f8r dette for \u00e5 kunne senke prisene p\u00e5 de minste Polo&#8217;ene og gj\u00f8re dem mer konkurransedyktige.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nJeg skulle \u00f8nske at Volkswagen hadde v\u00e6rt mer redelig med \u00e5 opplyse om hvilke forskjeller det er mellom de to variantene. Man m\u00e5 provosere den veldig for \u00e5 skape utrygge situasjoner. Den minste Polo&#8217;en krenger mer og er derfor lettere \u00e5 provosere til grensen av det utrygge. Ekstremsituasjoner kan dermed oppleves mer skremmende i den minste Polo&#8217;en enn i den st\u00f8rre. Men la meg samtidig tilf\u00f8ye at alle Polo&#8217;er er trygge biler.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nI tillegg til motor og understell, finnes det ogs\u00e5 forskjeller i utstyrsgrad. Den mest merkbare forskjellen er innvendig st\u00f8y. Den minste Polo&#8217;en jeg nylig kj\u00f8rte, hadde en spansk utstyrsgrad kalt Edition. Den hadde merkbart mer romlest\u00f8y fra veien enn i de st\u00f8rre Polo&#8217;ene, spesielt fra bakre del gjennom bagasjerommet. Hardplast p\u00e5 d\u00f8rene i stedet for stofftrekk oppleves ogs\u00e5 som ganske simpelt. Setene, derimot, er fine p\u00e5 alle modellene.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nMen 1.0-liters motoren er piggere enn man skulle tro, og faktisk en positiv overraskelse. Den holder farten fint langs europeiske motorveihastigheter. Med 4 voksne i bilen m\u00e5 du gire litt oftere i bakkene enn du hadde gjort med en st\u00f8rre motor. Lydbildet er bra, selv om man h\u00f8rer den 3-sylindrede klangen n\u00e5r man gir p\u00e5 gass. Girkassa er meget lett \u00e5 bruke, og girskiftene g\u00e5r lekende lett.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDet handler om pris.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nPrisen p\u00e5 Polo 1.0 begynner p\u00e5 192 000 kroner. Da f\u00e5r du mye bil for pengene. Du f\u00e5r god innvendig plass, city n\u00f8dbremsfunksjon med Front Assist, aircondition, med mer. Det koster 35 000 \u00e5 oppgradere til 90-hester motoren og h\u00f8yere utstyrsgrad. Ser man nedover i modellrekkene, koster det ogs\u00e5 35 000 \u00e5 oppskalere fra en normalt utstyrt &laquo;Up!&raquo; med samme 1.0 motor. Dermed dekker den minste Poloen et viktig prissegment. Er du p\u00e5 utkikk etter en ny bil for sommeren, og har mulighet til \u00e5 legge 200 000 p\u00e5 bordet, er det vanskelig \u00e5 komme utenom den minste Poloen. Jeg vil imidlertid anbefale deg \u00e5 v\u00e6re sparsom med \u00e5 velge fra utstyrslisten. Det du virkelig trenger, er det oppgraderte understellet du f\u00e5r med 90-hesteren. Har du lyst p\u00e5 utstyr, vil jeg heller strekke meg opp til 90-hesteren fremfor \u00e5 oppgradere den minste Poloen. Du skal ikke velge mye utstyr f\u00f8r prisfordelen forsvinner.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nPoloen er et fornuftig bilvalg. Den er sikker og passe stor. Den vil gi deg et totalt problemfritt bilhold i mange \u00e5r. Selger du den etter 10 \u00e5r, f\u00e5r du fortsatt god pris for den. De som kjenner Polo som leiebil, forbinder kanskje bilen med sol og sj\u00f8 p\u00e5 sydenferie. Det er ikke s\u00e5 galt.
