Som barnesikre l\u00e5ser p\u00e5 bakd\u00f8rene, termostatstyrt kj\u00f8levifte og bremser med trykkutjevning mellom bremsene foran og bak. Som en av de f\u00f8rste familiebilene p\u00e5 markedet hadde den lukket kj\u00f8lesystem \u2013 ingen kontroll av vann og frostv\u00e6ske. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h5>&nbsp;<\/h5>\n<blockquote><p>Man m\u00e5 helt tilbake til 1898 for \u00e5 finne starten for Renault. Det skjedde i Paris, og mannen var Louis Renault. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Den f\u00f8rste bilen ble bygget i et lite skur i foreldrenes hage utenfor Paris. Som for andre nystartede bilfabrikker var det viktig \u00e5 delta i bill\u00f8p, og Renault vant sine f\u00f8rste seire f\u00f8r 1900. De neste modellene fulgte utviklingen p\u00e5 markedet, st\u00f8rre biler med sterkere motorer. I 1923 kom en liten bil som skulle ta opp konkurransen med Citro\u00ebn. Temaet sm\u00e5 biler ble fulgt opp i 1946 med modellen 4 CV. Den var en av de minste 4- d\u00f8rs personbiler som har blitt serieprodusert. Den ble fulgt opp av Dauphine i 1956. En av de mest kjente modellene, R4 kom i 1962 med forhjulsdrift. I tiden fremover kom en rekke nye familiebiler. Noen med bakhjulsdrift (R8) og andre med forhjulsdrift (R5\/R6\/R12\/R16). Det har kommet mange popul\u00e6re familiebiler fra Renault og det er trenden fremdeles.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Renault 4<\/h3>\n<p>Renault 4 ble presentert i september 1961. Det var en enkel og praktisk bil som skulle konkurrere med Citro\u00ebn 2cv. Med en praktisk og enkel innredning var dette en virkelig bruksbil. En rekke nyheter hadde den. Som barnesikre l\u00e5ser p\u00e5 bakd\u00f8rene, termostatstyrt kj\u00f8levifte og bremser med trykkutjevning mellom bremsene foran og bak. Som en av de f\u00f8rste familiebilene p\u00e5 markedet hadde den lukket kj\u00f8lesystem \u2013 ingen kontroll av vann og frostv\u00e6ske. En typisk fransk bil med god komfort og bra kj\u00f8reegenskaper. Den var Renaults f\u00f8rste forhjulsdrevne personbil. Men i motsetning til den popul\u00e6re Morris Mini hadde R4 motoren plasser p\u00e5 langs. Da NAF testet modellen i 1962 fikk den skryt for enkelt vedlikehold (ingen sm\u00f8repunkter) og lavt bensinforbruk. Som franske biler flest p\u00e5 den tiden var det lekkasjer og d\u00e5rlig utf\u00f8relse p\u00e5 montering.
