Men denne fabrikken som holder til i Hiroshima i Japan, kan f\u00f8re historien helt tilbake til 1920.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h5>&nbsp;<\/h5>\n<p>I starten ble det produsert forskjellige industrielle produkter. Produksjon av kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y startet med motorsykler rundt 1930, og de f\u00f8rste bilene kom som lette lastebiler noen \u00e5r senere. Personbiler i serieproduksjon startet i 1960 med den lille R-360. Senere kom modellene 1500 og 1800 som var noen lekre modeller med design fra Bertone. Mazda startet som en av de f\u00f8rste bilprodusentene med wankelmotorer i sine biler. Den f\u00f8rste modellen var en sportsvogn med lekkert design. Salget av Mazda i Norge startet i 1967. Mazda havnet fort p\u00e5 salgstoppen med modellene 818, 616 og 929. Driftssikre biler med god pris tiltalte norske bilkj\u00f8pere. Siden det har Mazda v\u00e6rt kjent for sine familiebiler.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Mazda 1500<\/h3>\n<p>Mazda 1500 var designet av den italienske designeren Bertone. Denne lekre familiebilen debuterte 1965, og kom ut p\u00e5 markedet i 1967. Godt utstyrt og med en moderne motor med overliggende kamaksel, var dette modellen som fabrikken ville ta markedsandeler med. Her i Norge var Mazda relativt ukjent, men denne modellen falt i god smak hos det norske publikum. Mazda ble fort kjent for driftssikkerhet og problemfritt bilhold. N\u00e5r det gjaldt trafikksikkerhet var denne modellen helt i toppsjiktet. Mange bilforhandlere som tidligere solgte engelske biler, s\u00e5 at Mazda hadde gode muligheter og startet salget. Mazda 1500 ble levert b\u00e5de som personbil og stasjonsvogn. I 1968 kom en modell med st\u00f8rre motor i produksjon.
