Jeg skrev &laquo;LH 10000&raquo;. Vi noterte kun <em>numre<\/em>, aldri bilmerker. Likevel husker jeg godt at det var en gul Opel Manta &#8211; en helt ny Opel! Visste du at Opel Manta er oppkalt etter fiskearten <a href=\"https:\/\/no.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Djevelskate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>djevelskate<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; en kjempestor rokke som sv\u00f8mmer grasi\u00f8st rundt i de store verdenshavene med vinger og hale?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Opels nye design-spr\u00e5k best\u00e5r av imagin\u00e6re kompass-aktige linjer i fronten og ny grill som kan &laquo;snakke&raquo;. Det kalles Opel Vizor. Inspirasjonen til det hele er hentet fra Opel Manta A. Etter dagens m\u00e5lestokk var Manta enkle, bakhjulsdrevne biler basert p\u00e5 Opel Ascona A. Bilen som bar skiltet &laquo;LH 10000&raquo;, var en Opel Manta DeLuxe med 1,6-litersmotor som ga 68 HK. S-utgaven ga 80 HK. Den gjeveste motoren i 1971, var 1,9 S 90 HK. Egenvekten var 950 kg uten f\u00f8rer. Manta representerer Opel som vi husker dem: Vakre, enkle og velkj\u00f8rende.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Nedturen<\/h3>\n<p>Det har, som kjent, skjedd mye med Opel siden Manta-modellene var i produksjon. En kan vel si at \u00abvi som likte Manta\u00bb, neppe har satt s\u00e6rlig pris p\u00e5 Opels utvikling de siste \u00e5rene. Det var flere \u00e5rsaker til Opels nedtur. En av Opel-verkets fagforeninger klaget over at ledelsen for sent forsto viktigheten av \u00e5 tilby nye dieselmotorer p\u00e5 bred modellskala. Det kunne ha reddet mange arbeidsplasser. Man kunne sikkert sagt det samme om Opels passivitet til \u00e5 innf\u00f8re nye hybrid- og el-drivverk. En siste negativ faktor, var selve utformingen av modellene. Opels designere lyktes ikke med \u00e5 fange kj\u00f8pernes interesse. Bilene manglet identitet. De kunne med fordel hatt en snev av &laquo;Manta-faktoren&raquo;.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Tilgang til ny teknologi fra PSA<\/h3>\n<p>PSA-gruppen sitter n\u00e5 som eiere av bilmerkene Peugeot, Citroen, DS og Opel. Opel har dermed f\u00e5tt tilgang til sunn teknologi. Det gjelder blant annet elmotoren p\u00e5 136 HK og batteripakkene p\u00e5 henholdsvis 50 og 75 kwh. Etter PSA-overtakelsen er det utviklet nye Opel-modeller som deler plattform og teknologi med andre modeller i PSA-gruppen. De mest interessante modellene for Norge er nye Corsa-e og Mokka-e. Det er ikke bare fordi de er <em>elbiler<\/em>, men ogs\u00e5 fordi de faktisk er noe av de vakreste modellene Opel har laget siden nedturen begynte p\u00e5 begynnelsen av 2000-tallet. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Opel Compass<\/h3>\n<p>Konseptet med <em>Opel Compass<\/em> er at fronten er utfomet som et imagin\u00e6rt kompass omkring den sentrerte Opel-logoen. P\u00e5 begge sider &#8211; \u00f8st og vest &#8211; finner vi de nye kj\u00f8relysene som visuelt former yttervingene som &#8211; med litt fantasi &#8211; ligner vingene p\u00e5 en kjempeskate &#8211; en &laquo;Manta&raquo;. Ogs\u00e5 nord og syd skal v\u00e6re avmarkert i designet. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Opel Vizor<\/h3>\n<p>Opel Vizor er den nye grillen, som egentlig ikke er en grill i tradisjonell forstand, &#8211; men et omr\u00e5de for \u00e5 samle sensorer og elektronikk for assistentsystemer. Fronten skal ogs\u00e5 inneholde pixelbaserte dioder som kan uttrykke meldinger til eier og omverden. Forel\u00f8pig er denne funksjonen p\u00e5 tegnebrettet, i form av en ny stilstudie basert p\u00e5 Opel Manta A &#8211; kalt <em>Opel Manta GSe ElektroMOD<\/em>. Det handler selvf\u00f8lgelig om en elbil som kunne v\u00e6rt basert p\u00e5 PSA-gruppens 50 kwh batteri. <\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39667\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39667\" Opel-logoen er digital og kan skifte til en melding.(kilde: Opel)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Manta GSe EletroMOD<\/h3>\n<p>Den nye stilstudien varmer et gammelt bilentusiast-hjerte, skj\u00f8nt vi kommer neppe til \u00e5 se noen elektrofisert Manta A satt i serieproduksjon. Kanskje Opel bygger om en gammel Manta for \u00e5 skape show? For om ikke <em>bilen<\/em> blir laget, vil Vizor komme i produksjon og bli et kjennemerke p\u00e5 fremtidige Opeler. Den er allerede implementert p\u00e5 nye Mokka\/Mokka-e og faceliftede Crossland, og vil ventelig dukke opp p\u00e5 helt nye Astra som blir lansert senere i \u00e5r. <\/p>\n<p>Vizor-systemet vil sannsynligvis kunne oppgraderes. I den nye Manta-demoen viser Vizor tekstmeldinger som &laquo;I am on a zero e mission&raquo; og &laquo;My German *hjertesymbol* is all electric&raquo;. Tyske myndigheter med <a href=\"https:\/\/no.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Angela_Merkel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Angela Merkel<\/strong><\/a> i spissen har gitt uttrykk for at de \u00f8nsker \u00e5 stimulere produksjon og kj\u00f8p av elbiler. Store bilkonsern tester gjerne ny teknologi i ett merke f\u00f8r det rulles bredt ut. Kanskje Opel kan bli PSA-gruppens &laquo;spydspiss&raquo; for \u00e5 teste ut nye assistentsystemer og teknologi for nullutslipps-kj\u00f8ret\u00f8yer?<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Opel i Norge<\/h3>\n<p>De nye elbilene kan gj\u00f8re Opel mer interessant for norske kj\u00f8pere. Selv om alle bilene i PSA-gruppen deler samme plattform, drivverk, instrumenter og betjeningshendler, &#8211; produseres de ved forskjellige fabrikker, og &#8211; med unntak av varebilseriene &#8211; har de egen visuell utforming &#8211; ikke bare re-badgede modeller. Det er i grunnen kun to ting som kan f\u00e5 kunder til \u00e5 foretrekke Opel fremfor tilsvarende Peugeot- og Citroen-modeller: <em>Utseende og forhandler<\/em>. Problemet i Norge er at gamle erverdige Opel-forhandlere fra Opels storhetstid er borte. I dag selges Opel i hovedsak gjennom to kjeder, Bertel O Steen og Mobile. Bertel O Steen selger blant annet Peugeot og Citroen i tillegg til Opel. Mobile selger flere merker, herunder Citroen i tillegg til Opel. Selv om man plasserer bilene i separate avdelinger, vil Opel v\u00e6re det nye tilskuddet i forhold til etablerte merker i forretningen. Dermed vil Opel neppe f\u00e5 noen forhandlerfordel noe sted. Den vil sannsynligvis komme ved neste facelift &#8211; kanskje en fremskyndet facelift?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mokka-e<\/strong> produseres ved Poissy-fabrikken i Frankrike. Modellen deler plattform, drivverk mm. med Peugeot e-2008. Mokka-e er en flott representant for morgendagens Opeler, med klare trekk fra konseptbilen GT X. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Vivaro-e<\/strong> produseres ved Luton-anlegget i Storbritannia. Den er en &laquo;re-badged&raquo; versjon av <a href=\"https:\/\/terjebjornstad.com\/no\/2021\/04\/14\/toyota-proace-electric-50-kwh-med-trivselsfaktor\/\"><strong>Toyota Proace Electric<\/strong><\/a>, Peugeot e-Expert og Citroen \u00eb-Jumpy. Anbefales.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Astra<\/strong> kommer som ny modell senere i \u00e5r som 2022-modell og vil b\u00e6re Opels nye designspr\u00e5k. Den vil v\u00e6re interessant i Norge p\u00e5 grunn av sitt hybriddrivverk. I dag importeres Astra til Norge fra Vauxhall-fabrikken i Ellesmere, Storbritannia, men nye Astra skal ogs\u00e5 produseres i R\u00fcsselheim.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Insignia<\/strong> produseres i R\u00fcsselheim. Opels flaggskip er ingen d\u00e5rlige biler, men fremst\u00e5r som identitetsl\u00f8se. Til tross for iherdig markedsf\u00f8ring, har ikke Opel lyktes med \u00e5 fange kj\u00f8pernes interesse verken her hjemme eller i Europa. Insignia representerer et design-spor Opel trenger \u00e5 komme ut av s\u00e5 fort som mulig. Anbefales derfor ikke som nybilkj\u00f8p.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Crossland<\/strong> har kommet i facelifted utgave med Opels nye front. Den produseres  i Zaragoza, Spania, sammen med <a href=\"https:\/\/terjebjornstad.com\/no\/2020\/09\/04\/citroen-c3-aircross-familiepakka\/\"><strong>Citroen C3 Aircross<\/strong><\/a>. De deler &laquo;alt&raquo; under skallet. Vi har testet C3 Aircross. Det er en h\u00f8ybygd velkj\u00f8rende kompakt familiebil med god plass. Begge modellene fremst\u00e5r som mer praktiske enn vakre. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Grandland X<\/strong> deler plattform og drivverk med Peugeot 3008. Modellen produseres b\u00e5de i Eisenach, Tyskland og Poissy, Frankrike. Bilene til Norge kommer fra Frankrike. Grandland X b\u00e6rer ikke Opels nye front og design-spr\u00e5k.
