Det \u00e5ret ble bilfabrikken til Giovanni Battista Ceirano overtatt med produksjon, patenter og prototyper og Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino (Fiat) etablert. Blant de ansatte som fulgte med til Fiat var Vincezo Lancia som var en kjent bilsportsut\u00f8ver. Fiat vant en rekke bill\u00f8p og merket ble kjent. I 1907 startet produksjonen av mindre og rimelige biler. I 1932 kom Fiat 508 Balila, en sv\u00e6rt moderne liten bil. Utseendet minnet om datidens amerikanske biler, bare mye mindre. Teknisk var den bedre utstyrt enn konkurrentene. Trendsettende var ogs\u00e5 den lille 500 som kom i 1936 og fortsatte frem til 1955 med endringer og forbedringer. Modellene 500, 600, 850 og 1100 ble sv\u00e6rt popul\u00e6re familiebiler p\u00e5 50- og 60- tallet. I 1969 kom 128 som var Fiats overgang til forhjulsdrift. De etterf\u00f8lgende modellene befestet fabrikkens posisjon som produsent av kjappe og velkj\u00f8rende familiebiler.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Fiat 1100<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p>Dette var modellen som bekreftet at Fiat var en bil for folk som likte sporty bilkj\u00f8ring. 1100 ble derfor en av Fiats mest popul\u00e6re modeller gjennom tidene.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her kunne forventningsfulle bilkj\u00f8pere velge mellom mange modeller. Personbil i flere utf\u00f8relser og en romslig stasjonsvogn helt fra produksjonsstart i 1953. En mer sporty utgave (TV) med st\u00f8rre effekt kom i salg \u00e5ret etter. Her var det en ekstra lykt montert midt i grillen. Frem til 1962 ble det gjort mindre endringer p\u00e5 1100. for det meste kosmetiske endringer. En stor nyhet var en st\u00f8rre motor som kunne leveres til dem som \u00f8nsket mer fart.<\/p>\n<p>Den nye versjonen som kom i 1962 hadde betegnelsen 1100D. Detaljer var forbedret og standarden var mye h\u00f8yere p\u00e5 utstyr og interi\u00f8r. I 1966 kom den siste versjonen &#8211; 1100R. Fiat hadde n\u00e5 den nye og st\u00f8rre 124 p\u00e5 trappene s\u00e5 den aldrende 1100 modellen ble gjennomg\u00e5tt og oppgradert for \u00e5 v\u00e6re salgbar. Karosseriet ble mer elegant og fikk en helt ny bakpart. Skivebremser og et sporty gulvgir ble ogs\u00e5 standardutstyr.<\/p>\n<p>1100 ble avl\u00f8st av 128 i 1969, da var det produsert over 1 700 000 biler.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38234\"
