Den siste ble anskaffet for litt over tyve \u00e5r siden. Jeg hatt anledning til \u00e5 anskaffe flere nye biler de siste \u00e5rene, men aldri vurdert \u00e5 kj\u00f8pe Opel. Jeg tror jeg vet hvorfor.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Opels markedsandel i Norge har g\u00e5tt jevn og trutt nedover og er fortsatt fallende. Hva har skjedd med Opel siden de gode sytti-, \u00e5tti- og tidlige nitti-\u00e5rene? \u00c5rsaken til nedgangen er at jeg &#8211; og flere med meg &#8211; ikke lenger velger Opel n\u00e5r vi kj\u00f8per ny bil og neppe ville vurdert Opel hvis vi skulle kj\u00f8pe ny bil i dag. Men det store sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5let er selvf\u00f8lgelig: Hvorfor velger vi ikke Opel?<\/p>\n<p>Jeg sitter \u00e5 blar i en produktoversikt for 2013 som er laget av Opel Norge AS. Jeg blar uten \u00e5 lese. \u00d8ynene hviler ikke p\u00e5 noen ting. Jeg innser at jeg like gjerne kunne ha lest en brosjyre over kontorrekvisita.<\/p>\n<p>Det er ikke det at jeg ikke liker bilmerket. Tvert imot. Jeg har nylig kj\u00f8rt en helt ny Astra 1.4 Turbo, 140HK, 5-d\u00f8rer, med den siste faceliften. Den kj\u00f8rer veldig bra &#8211; b\u00e5de p\u00e5 motorvei og i by. Den har god benplass. Den er komfortabel. I stasjonsvognutgave er det en fullverdig familiebil. Turbo-bensinmotoren leverer krefter p\u00e5 samme m\u00e5te som en moderne turbodiesel og sjettegiret fungerer fint p\u00e5 landevei. Jeg tenker: Det skal vanskelig gj\u00f8res \u00e5 finne en st\u00f8rre eller bedre utstyrt, motorisert og velkj\u00f8rende bil til trehundre tusen.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e5r jeg har parkert bilen p\u00e5 gaten, rett bak en ny Skoda Octavia, fornemmer jeg hva Opels problem er. Selv med fine 17 tommers lettmetallfelger og flott m\u00f8rkegr\u00e5 perlemorsfarge, blir Astraen anonym bak Skodaen. Det kan nesten se ut som om noen har fors\u00f8kt \u00e5 designe bort merke-identiteten. F\u00f8lelsen av manglende merke-identitet f\u00e5r man ogs\u00e5 n\u00e5r man sitter bak rattet i Astra.<\/p>\n<p>Det som b\u00f8r v\u00e6re en tankevekker for Opels internasjonale ledelse, er at det anonyme designet p\u00e5virker deg kun n\u00e5r du skal <em>kj\u00f8pe<\/em> bil, ikke i daglig bruk. Alle med interesse for bil vet at Opel er en god bil. I brosjyren, derimot, &#8211; og p\u00e5 gaten, parkert bak Skodaen, er det ingen som legger merke til Astraen.<\/p>\n<p>Opel har mistet grepet om nesten alle sine gamle, trofaste kunder. Bilmodellene fremst\u00e5r som identitetsl\u00f8se. Det sp\u00f8rs om ikke Opel like gjerne burde skape et helt nytt bilmerke, sende ledelsen i design-avdelingen og markedsf\u00f8ringsavdelingen p\u00e5 en veldig lang ferie &#8211; eller f\u00f8rtidspensjonering. S\u00e5 gjelder det \u00e5 f\u00e5 tak i designere og markedsfolk som har skj\u00f8nt hva slagordet <em>&laquo;Wir leben Autos&raquo;<\/em> egentlig betyr. Da er jeg sikker p\u00e5 at det nye merket kan m\u00e5le seg med hvilket som helst bilmerke i hele verden. <\/p>\n<p>Kanskje Opel en dag kan endre slagordet sitt til:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Opel &#8211; The one you notice!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/opel.no\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Opel.no<\/strong><\/a>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false,"gt_translate_keys":[{"key":"rendered","format":"html"}]},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I likhet med mange, har jeg eid flere nye Opeler.
