Men det endret seg i 1945 da en hel fabrikk fra Opel i Tyskland ble tatt som krigsbytte og sendt til Sovjetunionen. Med p\u00e5 lasset fulgte tegninger og produksjonsutstyr til Opel Kadett som var en moderne sm\u00e5bil p\u00e5 slutten av 1930 tallet. Modellen ble litt endret, og den kom p\u00e5 markedet i 1947 i hjemlandet. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Moskvitch 400<\/h3>\n<p>Modellbetegnelsen p\u00e5 den f\u00f8rste modellen var \u201d400\u201d. F\u00f8rst kom det en 4 d\u00f8rs personbil som ble fulgt av b\u00e5de varebil og stasjonsvogn i flere utf\u00f8relser. En helt spesiell versjon var \u201dWoodie\u201d, en kopi av amerikanske stasjonsvogner med trelister montert p\u00e5 utsiden av karosseriet. P\u00e5 midten av 1950 tallet kom den ogs\u00e5 i salg i Norge. Det var en sv\u00e6rt enkel og ukomfortabel bil. Et tysk motorblad som testet den beskrev den som \u201dden ser ut som om den er satt sammen av l\u00f8se biter fra Jernteppet\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Moskvitch 402<\/h3>\n<p>Da var det langt bedre med den nye modellen med betegnelsen \u201d402\u201d. Modellen s\u00e5 dagen lys i 1956 og var meget moderne, b\u00e5de n\u00e5r det gjaldt teknikk og design. Den hadde uavhengig fj\u00e6ring, bedre varmeapparat og 12 volts elektrisk anlegg. Bilen kunne ogs\u00e5 leveres i en lekker variant med 2 farger p\u00e5 karosseriet. Grunnmodellen ble modifisert i 1958 og fikk litt st\u00f8rre motor og flere hester. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Med trekk p\u00e5 alle 4<\/h3>\n<p>En spennende variant var modellen med 4-hjuls trekk. Det var en bilmodell som passet godt p\u00e5 d\u00e5rlige veier og som kunne gj\u00f8re en god jobb i tynt befolkede str\u00f8k. En sv\u00e6rt god bakkeklaring p\u00e5 22 cm gjorde at bilen kunne klare \u00e5 krysse vann med inntil 30 cm dybde. Men det var ingen bil for motorveier siden toppfarten kun var 60 km\/t.
