Jeg synes i alle fall at det er kommet flere av dem p\u00e5 veien. I fjor var den nummer syv p\u00e5 salgslistene for varebiler i Norge.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Bilen<\/h3>\n<p>Dagens Ford Transit er nummer 8 i modellserien som startet for hele 53 \u00e5r siden. I dag produseres bilene ved Ford Otosan i Tyrkia og shippes over hele verden, til og med i USA og Australia. Transit omfatter 4 ulike modeller, Courier, Connect, Custom og &laquo;fullsize&raquo; Transit &#8211; eller bare &laquo;Transit&raquo;. <\/p>\n<p>Jeg valgte Transit Custom til jobben. Varianten som p\u00e5 varebilspr\u00e5ket kalles L2H1 &#8211; lang lengde og normal h\u00f8yde. Utstyrsgrad Trend med sided\u00f8rer p\u00e5 begge sider, ett sidevindu p\u00e5 h\u00f8yre side og vinduer i bakd\u00f8rene. Losse bilen p\u00e5 Skillebekk og laste opp gammel parkett og gamle garderober der. Fortsette til B\u00e6rum for \u00e5 ta med restene etter en garasjeopprydding. Neste morgen skal alt leveres til gjenvinningsstasjonen p\u00e5 ISI i B\u00e6rum. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Varerommet<\/h3>\n<p>6,8 kubikkmeter &#8211; p\u00e5 papiret. Lengden er 2,92 meter, men det er mulig \u00e5 utvide til 3,4 for lange gjenstander ved \u00e5 \u00e5pne luken til et eget rom under passasjerstolen. Lasteh\u00f8yden er 1,41 meter. Bredden er 1,77 meter og 1,39 mellom hjulbuene. Gulvet er dekket av en forseggjort &laquo;floor liner&raquo; i plastikk som var krummet opp langs sidene. Det sto vel mellom <em>lastevolum<\/em> og <em>komfort<\/em>? Du skal ikke v\u00e6re mye over middels h\u00f8y for \u00e5 merke at det skorter p\u00e5 benplass &#8211; ogs\u00e5 i Transit Custom. L\u00f8sningen blir h\u00f8y sittestilling med rak rygg &#8211; omtrent som \u00e5 sitte p\u00e5 kirkebenken. Jeg satte pris p\u00e5 at det var mulig \u00e5 jekke opp setet litt i forkant ogs\u00e5. Passasjersetet er l\u00e5st i \u00e9n stilling &#8211; som vanlig er p\u00e5 s\u00e5nne biler. Infotainmentsystemet styres via en ber\u00f8ringsskjerm. Behagelig skinntrukket ratt og tydelige instrumenter. Det er koppholdere &laquo;over alt&raquo; til kaffe og Cola. Ved \u00e5 felle ned midtre passasjersete f\u00e5r man en bordflate med ekstra koppholdere. Det er flere USB-porter tilgjengelig for b\u00e6rbart utstyr.  <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Vibrerer mye p\u00e5 tomgang<\/h3>\n<p>Det var kanskje ikke s\u00e5 lurt \u00e5 dra tvers gjennom Oslo like etter arbeidstid. Nesten sammenhengende k\u00f8 fra Skillebekk til Alexander Kiellands Plass. Folk har tydeligvis begynt \u00e5 komme seg ut av Corona-dvalen. Men hva var det som fikk hele bilen til \u00e5 vibrere da den gikk p\u00e5 tomgang? Det skapte ogs\u00e5 mye st\u00f8y. Jeg mistenker at det er Powershift-l\u00f8sningen. Da vi sto stille i Drive med motoren p\u00e5 tomgang, forplantet vibrasjonene seg i hele bilen, men forsvant gradvis da vi kj\u00f8rte. Tomgangshastigheten var normal.  <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">P\u00e5 veien<\/h3>\n<p>Etter \u00e5 ha lastet bilen med parkett og andre byggevarer, gikk turen videre utover mot Furuset. P\u00e5 landeveien fungerte drivverket godt. Girkassa la motorens turtall behagelig lavt. Dreiemomentet er helt supert og gjorde at vi tok stigningene helt uanstrengt. I hastigheter mellom 80 og 100 merket vi dessuten sv\u00e6rt lite til farten. N\u00e5r man f\u00f8rst har kommet opp i fart, er innvendig st\u00f8yniv\u00e5 meget behagelig. &#8211; Og til \u00e5 v\u00e6re varebil, gir styringen god f\u00f8lelse med veien. Gode speil, parkeringssensorer foran og bak, samt ryggekamera er gode hjelpemidler n\u00e5r man skal lirke bilen rundt andre biler med centimeterpresisjon p\u00e5 alle kanter. Skyved\u00f8r p\u00e5 hver side gir rask lasting og lossing n\u00e5r man st\u00e5r ulovlig parkert. Tre kolli som var for lange for heisen, m\u00e5tte b\u00e6res helt opp til 4. etasje. Hvorfor gj\u00f8res ikke trappoppgangene mer hensiktsmessig for \u00e5 frakte store gjenstander?<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Pass h\u00f8yden!<\/h3>\n<p>En av de viktigste egenskapene til en varebil, er \u00e5 komme <em>helt<\/em> frem &#8211; ogs\u00e5 inn i parkeringshus og garasjeanlegg. De fleste anleggene har maks h\u00f8yde p\u00e5 2,10, &#8211; enkelte bare 2,05. Transit Custom er vel kanskje en av de h\u00f8yeste i sin klasse. &laquo;V\u00e5r&raquo; Transit hadde integrerte lastestenger p\u00e5 taket som ikke bygget i h\u00f8yden. Genialt. Ved et sammenst\u00f8t med personbil, gir varebilen deg en fordel fordi du sitter i et h\u00f8yere og tyngre kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y. Men treffer du en murvegg, kan sikkerhetsf\u00f8lelsen v\u00e6re falsk. Jeg har ogs\u00e5 en f\u00f8lelse av at en lavbygd person sitter tryggere enn en h\u00f8y, langbent kar. Transit Custom ble <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.euroncap.com\/media\/6198\/euroncap_ford_transit_custom_2012_5stars.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>testet av Euro NCAP i 2012<\/strong><\/a>. Rapporten sier at det er mye hard plast som kan p\u00e5f\u00f8re skader, &#8211; avhengig av <em>hvor<\/em> &#8211; og <em>hvordan<\/em> man sitter. Toyota Proace fikk 91% da <em>den<\/em> ble testet i 2015. Opel Vivaro ble ogs\u00e5 testet i 2015 og fikk bare 52%. I likhet med Transit, ble begge bilene ogs\u00e5 trukket for sideveis stolpekollisjoner og whiplash for de som sitter i baksetene. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Konklusjon<\/h3>\n<p>Varebiler som Ford Transit Custom er laget for <em>business<\/em> &#8211; ikke pleasure. Dette er ikke biler man blir overstadig begeistret for, men &laquo;v\u00e5r&raquo; Transit var perfekt til jobben! EcoBlue-motoren er et eksempel p\u00e5 hvor bra diesel er blitt. Skikkelig dreiemoment og lavt forbruk. Automatl\u00f8sningen anbefales ikke ubetinget, da alt for mye st\u00f8y og vibrasjoner forplantet seg inn i kupeen mens vi stampet i k\u00f8.
