Den er blitt konvertert til elbil. 1200-motoren er byttet ut med elmotor. Bensintanken er fjernet og bagasjerommet foran inneholder n\u00e5 batterier.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<p>Det er ogs\u00e5 montert batterier under baksetet. I f\u00f8lge produsenten er det ikke sk\u00e5ret ut eller gjort noen modifikasjoner av ramme og karrosseri. Det er kun boret hull til n\u00f8dvendige kabler og lignenede.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">L\u00f8sningen var allerede oppfunnet<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg kom over Bertie og vennene hans p\u00e5 London Classic Car Show i forrige uke. <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrogenic.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>ElectroGenic<\/strong><\/a><\/em> er et lite firma i Oxford som har begynt \u00e5 konvertere eldre klassikere til eldrift, &#8211; s\u00e5kalte Retro EVs. Bertie er en rullende demo som viser mulighetene. Det er den <em>andre<\/em> bilen de har bygget opp. Den <em>f\u00f8rste<\/em> var en Volkswagen Pickup T1. Med plenty av rom under planet er T1 og T2 pickup idelle for el-konverteringer. Et annet moment som har hjulpet ElectroGenic \u00e5 komme i gang, er at det faktisk eksisterer en l\u00f8sning for \u00e5 bygge om luftavkj\u00f8lte folkevogner til elektrisitet. Berties motor er nemlig levert av <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.go-ev.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>NetGear Motors, Inc.<\/strong><\/a><\/em> i USA. Det eneste som r\u00f8per at det er en el-bil, er ender\u00f8rene bak, som ikke lenger <em>er<\/em> der. I f\u00f8lge ElectroGenic kan de monteres for syns skyld. Battericellene er de samme som Tesla bruker &#8211; 7 moduler. Til sammenligning har Tesla Model S 16 moduler. Det gir Bertie samme el-kapasitet som forrige utgave av Nissan Leaf &#8211; den med 30 Kwh batteri. Praktisk rekkevidde er oppgitt til 140 miles (224 km) &#8211; og ladetiden en og en halv time. Motoren yter 109 HK med et konstant dreiemoment p\u00e5 235 Nm. 0-100 skal g\u00e5 unna p\u00e5 9 sekunder og toppfarten er oppgitt til 160 km\/t. Begge deler er vel mer av teoretisk interesse?<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Londons nullutslippsm\u00e5l<\/h3>\n<p>Interessen for retro-elbilene p\u00e5 bilutstillingen var enorm. Alle skulle se p\u00e5 de ombygde bilene. For \u00f8yeblikket er det \u00f8kende interesse for elbiler i London og andre st\u00f8rre byer p\u00e5 grunn av myndighetenes program for \u00e5 redusere utslipp i bykjernen. Bilister i London m\u00e5 betale en dyr rushtidsavgift (\u00a310,50-14,00 pr dag) &#8211; og en enda dyrere avgift for eldre biler. Fra 2021 skal avgiftsomr\u00e5det \u00f8kes, samtidig som det er varslet avgiftslette for nullutslippsbiler. Selv om alt er tipp topp, blir en original boble fra 60-\u00e5rene med forgasser og stifter ikke like driftssikker som dagens biler under daglig bruk. For noen er gammel mekanikk en del av sjarmen med \u00e5 kj\u00f8re original boble, men for andre medf\u00f8rer det at veteranbilen kun blir brukt ved spesielle anledninger. Bertie er vidunderlig ren og t\u00f8rr uten \u00e5 ha mistet sin &laquo;antikvariske&raquo; verdi.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Vekt<\/h3>\n<p>Bildet av Bertie i friluft er hentet fra en video hvor bilen kj\u00f8res p\u00e5 landevei. Uten \u00e5 ha kj\u00f8rt den selv, er det ikke mulig \u00e5 vurdere om tyngdepunkt og vektfordeling er vesentlig forandret. Jeg ser at bilen ligger noks\u00e5 tungt med to mennesker om bord &#8211; sannsynligvis n\u00e6r den opprinnelige totalvekten. De frontmonterte batteriene ser ikke ut til \u00e5 ha gjort bilen framtung. Oppgitt nyttelast p\u00e5 en 1963 Volkswagen 1200 ligger p\u00e5 rundt 320 kg. Egenvekten p\u00e5 i underkant av 800 kg inkluderer f\u00f8rerens vekt samt full tank &#8211; 40 liter bensin. <\/p>\n<p>Er det rom for \u00e5 installere eldrift uten \u00e5 styrke understellet og f\u00e5 godkjent bilen for h\u00f8yere totalvekt?<\/p>\n<p>Vi begynner bak. En boblemotor veier ca 90 kg. Motoren fra NetGain veier 54 kg &#8211; en besparelse p\u00e5 36 kg. Uten bensintanken foran forsvinner ytterligere 40 kg. Battericellene skal i f\u00f8lge produsenten omfatte 7 pakker av samme type som det finnes 16 av i Tesla Model S, &#8211; formodentlig med 85 KWH. Teoretisk skal boblas batterier da veie 7\/16 av Teslas batterier &#8211; det vil si 236 kg. Netto gir det en egenvekt\u00f8kting p\u00e5 160 kg, Da blir boblas nyttelast redusert til 160 kg, &#8211; som tilsvarer 2 passasjerer pluss 10 kg. Totalvekten m\u00e5 sannsynligvis \u00f8kes, men vektfordelingen ser likevel ut til \u00e5 v\u00e6re god, siden batteriene er plassert b\u00e5de foran og bak.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Pris<\/h3>\n<p>ElectroGenic beregner seg 35 000 GBP (p.t. 420 000 NOK) for \u00e5 konvertere din folkevogn til el-drift. Prisen omfatter n\u00f8dvendig forsterkning av fj\u00e6rer og bremser. Elektromekanisk servostyring kan monteres med et pristillegg. Skulle du kj\u00f8pe Bertie i dag, m\u00e5 du nok legge til 20 000 GBP for selve bilen. Den har de gjort full restaurering av. For samme pris (55 000 GBP) kan man kj\u00f8pe en ny Tesla 3 Performance. Prisene p\u00e5 ombyggingen er veiledende. De avhenger av hvilken motor og batterikapasitet kunden velger, samt hva som m\u00e5 gj\u00f8res p\u00e5 selve kj\u00f8ret\u00f8yet.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Godkjenning i Norge?<\/h3>\n<p>I Norge er det vanskelig &#8211; men ikke umulig &#8211; \u00e5 f\u00e5 godkjent elbil-konverteringer. Problemene omfatter blant annet dokumentering av brannsikkerhet. Sannsynligvis vil det bli  enklere \u00e5 f\u00e5 godkjent ombyggingen med et firma som ElectroGenic i ryggen. Enda enklere n\u00e5r &#8211; eller hvis &#8211; el-konverteringer blir mer utbredt. Forel\u00f8pig befinner vi oss i pionerfasen.
