Kun takprofilen var synlig. &laquo;Engelsk klassiker&raquo;, tenkte jeg og satte kurs mot bilen.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Hva er det som gj\u00f8r en bil til klassiker? Form? Farge? Fasong? Merke? Mini mkVII tikker alle disse boksene. Den har Mini&#8217;ens opprinnelige karosserifasong. Detaljene r\u00f8per at vi befinner oss mot slutten av 90-\u00e5rene. Breddede, lakkerte skjermbuer, Minilite felger, chrome-grill, n\u00f8ttetre dashbord, off white skinninteri\u00f8r og finished in British Racing Green Metallic.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Rule Britannia!<\/h3>\n<p>British Leyland holdt produksjonen av Mini g\u00e5ende helt frem til \u00e5r 2000. Egentlig skulle den ha blitt erstattet av <em>Mini Metro<\/em>. Metro&#8217;en ble lansert som &#8211; <em>A British car to beat the World<\/em>, men oppn\u00e5dde langt fra samme status som modellen den skulle erstatte. Den klassiske Mini&#8217;en hadde <em>klasse<\/em>, noe den sjarml\u00f8se Metro&#8217;en absolutt <em>ikke<\/em> hadde. Jeg merket meg en lapp fra Bymilj\u00f8etaten midt p\u00e5 f\u00f8rersiden. <em>&laquo;Registreringspliktig kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y uten lovlig kjennemerke skal ikke v\u00e6re parkert utover 14 dager, jfr. vegtrafikklovens \u00a717.&raquo;<\/em> Lappen er fra mars 2017 og forteller at bilen var uregistrert p\u00e5 kontrolltidspunktet.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nHvor bilen sto da den ble dynget ned av fuglem\u00f8kk, vites ikke. Kanskje det var i gaten der den ble funnet? Kanskje p\u00e5 kommunens inntauingstomt? Bulkene p\u00e5 st\u00f8tfangerne r\u00f8per at den har v\u00e6rt offer for uv\u00f8ren lukeparkering. Grillen er borte, trolig r\u00f8sket ut av et innp\u00e5slitent hengerfeste. Jeg aner ikke hvorfor den flotte Mini&#8217;en havnet p\u00e5 gaten. Kanskje clutchen var g\u00e5en? Kanskje den ikke ble EU-godkjent? Kanskje eieren hadde kj\u00f8pt seg <em>ny<\/em> Mini? N\u00e5 vil Oslo Kommune ha dekket sine utgifter. Bilen er n\u00e5 lagt ut p\u00e5 hjemmesidene til \u00d8kern Bilauksjon. Den er rengjort, alle hjulbolter p\u00e5 plass og to sett (nye) n\u00f8kler &#8211; og det ser ut som om det er skiftet tenningsl\u00e5s eller noe s\u00e5nt. Eller ser den hel og pen ut.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Klassisk<\/h3>\n<p>Historien f\u00e5r vi kanskje aldri vite. Auksjonsfirmaer f\u00e5r ofte inn biler uten annen historikk enn dokumentene som ligger i bilen. N\u00e5r bilen trilles inn i auksjonslokalet, vil den v\u00e6re nyvasket og ha en praktisk tilstandsrapport p\u00e5 ruten. Fullt oppshinet og i god bruksstand kan en Mini mkVII g\u00e5 for mellom 100 000 og 150 000 kroner. Som andre klassikere, vil prisene ventelig v\u00e6re p\u00e5 vei oppover etter som modellen snart runder 20 \u00e5r. MkVII var den siste serien &#8211; den best utstyrte &#8211; den vakreste, og kanskje den best sammenskrudde.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nMed tanke p\u00e5 samlerverdi finnes det bare \u00e9n klassisk Mini. Etterf\u00f8lgeren, <em>Mini Metro<\/em>, er for lengst glemt. <em>Nye<\/em> Mini fra BMW er en flott bil, men vil trolig v\u00e6re glemt om 50 \u00e5r, den ogs\u00e5.
