Polo&#8217;en koster noen tiere mer pr d\u00f8gn enn Corsa&#8217;en jeg egentlig hadde bestilt. Innerst inne hadde jeg \u00f8nsket \u00e5 pr\u00f8ve den helt nye Opel Corsa i stedet for Volkswagen Polo, som jeg har kj\u00f8rt uttallige ganger tidligere som leiebil. Men jeg takker aldri nei til \u00e5 bli oppgradert.<\/p>\n<p>Volkswagen presenterer snart sin nye Polo. S\u00f8stermodellen, Skoda Fabia, er allerede ute i ny generasjon. Det hjelper ikke at Polo&#8217;en fikk en liten facelift for 2 \u00e5r siden. Dagens modell begynner \u00e5 trekke p\u00e5 \u00e5rene. Men \u00e9n ting kommer den nye Polo&#8217;en til \u00e5 arve fra sin forgjenger, &#8211; nemlig de fine 1,2 liters TSI motorene med henholdsvis 90 og 110 HK.<\/p>\n\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_2611\" Den leverer god lyd og oppleves som en klasse opp i forhold til konkurrentene. Manuell aircondition fungerte greit, men var egentlig ikke s\u00e6rlig p\u00e5krevet i det katalanske novemberv\u00e6ret.<\/p>\n<p>Utvendig noterte jeg meg 15 tommers lettmetallsfelger. Den fine peppergr\u00e5 fargen (Uranogr\u00e5) kler bilen, og fremhever den blanke listen fra siste facelift, som deler \u00f8vre og nedre del av fronten. <\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<em>Snusfornuftig<\/em>, tenker jeg. Med kveldsdisen sivende innover land opplevde vi en vakrere vei, enn den motorveien vi normalt tar, &#8211; den som g\u00e5r inn i landet, &#8211; som fortsetter inn i Frankrike, &#8211; og hvor h\u00f8yrefeltet best\u00e5r av en sammenhengende kolonne av semitrailere. Dessverre tok den fine C-32 br\u00e5tt slutt og vi m\u00e5tte inn p\u00e5 en vanlig to-felts riksvei med uoversiktlige svinger, bakketopper og rundkj\u00f8ringer i retning <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Autopista_del_Mediterr%C3%A1neo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Autopista del Mediterr\u00e1neo<\/strong><\/a> syd for Girona. De andre bilene p\u00e5 veien var tydeligvis lokalkjente og holdt et h\u00f8yt tempo. Litt i raskeste laget, tenkte jeg, men holdt likevel f\u00f8lge. Av og til feilbed\u00f8mte jeg litt, og m\u00e5tte n\u00e6rmest kaste bilen inn i svinger, eller bremse hardt like over bakketopper og ut av svingene. Det er da du merker om du har en god bil. Polo&#8217;en er en slik bil. Ingen overraskelser. Den responderer akkurat som jeg forventer, og jeg vet akkurat hvor jeg har den.<\/p>\n<p>Motoren leverer nesten flat dreiemomentkurve fra cirka 1400 til 4000 omdreininger. Ved rask akselerasjon fra stillest\u00e5ende forteller motorens lydbilde n\u00e5r turboen er aktiv. Det gode dreiemomentet gir f\u00f8lelse av \u00e5 kj\u00f8re en st\u00f8rre bil, &#8211; i hvert fall st\u00f8rre Polo-motor enn 1,2 liter. Under aktiv kj\u00f8ring er det n\u00f8dvendig \u00e5 bruke girspaken en del for \u00e5 holde motorens turtall der det gode dreiemomentet befinner seg. Under rask akselerasjon er det derfor ingen vits i \u00e5 dra motoren helt ut p\u00e5 girene, for \u00f8vrig ikke noe problem etter som 5-trinnskassa er lett \u00e5 jobbe med. Du skal ha litt flaks for \u00e5 finne grei sitteposisjon n\u00e5r h\u00f8ydejusteringen kun l\u00f8fter setets bakkant, men f\u00e5r likevel best\u00e5tt.<\/p>\n<p>Pluss for lavt st\u00f8yniv\u00e5. Jeg merket at Volkswagen har gjort en god jobb med \u00e5 redusere romlest\u00f8y fra veien i forbindelse med siste oppgradering. De 3-sylindrede modellene har trommelbremser bak. <\/p>\n<p>Polo scoret h\u00f8yt i NCAP da den ble introdusert i 2009, og holder fremdeles f\u00f8lge med de nyeste bilene. Utsjaltbar kollisjonspute p\u00e5 passasjersiden og ISOFIX til barneseter. Det er en motor som egner seg godt i Golf ogs\u00e5, men aldri har vel prisforskjellen mellom Golf og Polo v\u00e6rt gunstigere enn n\u00e5. Tidligere beveget de &laquo;store&raquo; Polo&#8217;ene seg langt inn i Golf&#8217;enes prisomr\u00e5de.<\/p>\n<p>Hvis du tenker p\u00e5 \u00e5 kj\u00f8pe Polo, anbefaler jeg \u00e5 ta en kj\u00f8retur med automatgiret DSG. 1.2 TSI med DSG er nemlig et fantastisk drivverk, b\u00e5de med 90 og 110 hester.<\/p>\n<p>Med blandet kj\u00f8ring skal det v\u00e6re mulig \u00e5 kj\u00f8re godt under halvliteren p\u00e5 milen med v\u00e5r testbil. Selv etter 10 dager m\u00e5 jeg innr\u00f8mme at jeg aldri gjorde noen reelle m\u00e5linger. Jeg opplevde bensinforbruket som lavt, og tviler ikke p\u00e5 de oppgitte forbrukstallene: 0,60 (by) og 0,40 (landevei). Bensintanken rommer bare 45 liter, men gir OK rekkevidde. V\u00e5r bil hadde start\/stopp og gjenvinning (rekuperasjon) av bremsekraften som tilf\u00f8rer str\u00f8m til batteriet.<\/p>\n<p>Kj\u00f8per du Polo som ny i dag, kan du nok regne med et noe h\u00f8yere verditap de aller f\u00f8rste \u00e5rene enn om du hadde ventet p\u00e5 den nye modellen som sannsynligvis kommer til neste \u00e5r. Men utg\u00e5ende Polo virker prisgunstig akkurat n\u00e5, i hvert fall sammenlignet med storebroren Golf. Om jeg skal trekke frem noe som kan dra Polos bruktbilpriser ned, m\u00e5 det v\u00e6re Volkswagens skandale med utslippsm\u00e5lingene.
