En radar i underbevisstheten kartlegger omgivelsene og varsler straks den oppdager noe &laquo;spesielt&raquo;. Det er vanskelig \u00e5 sette ord p\u00e5 hva dette &laquo;spesielle&raquo; egentlig <em>er<\/em>. Det kan v\u00e6re annerledes form, farge, detaljer, lyd&#8230; <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Her om dagen kom jeg over et s\u00e5nt fenomen, &#8211; langs \u00e9n av de kondemnerte hangarene ved Koksa-verkstedet p\u00e5 Fornebu. Jeg tok bilder. Det var en Calypso-gr\u00f8nn Mercedes-Benz SLK R170 fra f\u00f8rste produksjons\u00e5r 1997. Normalt bryr jeg meg ikke om tidlige SLK&#8217;er &#8211; simpelthen fordi jeg synes de ikke er spesielle nok. Jeg ville heller g\u00e5tt for en CLK (W208) med drivverk og understell fra C-Klasse (W202). CLK fremst\u00e5r som en finere versjon av C-klassen, mens SLK endte opp som &#8230;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">&#8230; verken fugl eller fisk?<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg forestiller meg korporative, tyske ingeni\u00f8rer som har f\u00e5tt i oppdrag av toppledelsen \u00e5 lage en modell for \u00e5 utkonkurrere den nye BMW Z3. Jeg begynte \u00e5 parkere ved siden av SLK&#8217;er. Jeg tok bilder. Sammenlignet dem med den gr\u00f8nne SLK&#8217;en. Da s\u00e5 jeg det. &laquo;Min&raquo; SLK hadde f\u00e5tt skiftet hovedlys og grill med ettermarkeds produkter. De triste, uttykksl\u00f8se, brune og matte plexiglassene var byttet ut med friske, moderne lyskastere. Skal du ha en SLK, m\u00e5 du g\u00e5 p\u00e5 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebay.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>ebay.com<\/strong><\/a> og kj\u00f8pe nye hovedlys! Kanskje bestille ny grill ogs\u00e5, &#8211; en som ligner p\u00e5 andre Mercedes&#8217;er. Da vil din SLK mk1 se 10 \u00e5r yngre ut. Rieger selges av blant annet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skruvat.no\/Frontfanger-P394227.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Skruvat.no<\/strong><\/a>. Fronten, med assosiasjoner til SLK mk2 (R171), kler &laquo;v\u00e5r&raquo; R170. Egentlig er jeg ingen stor tilhenger av R171. Fronten med &laquo;nebbet&raquo; passet godt til den fullsized&#8217;e SL&#8217;en, men ikke s\u00e5 bra til den korte SLK&#8217;en. Jeg synes den siste SLK&#8217;en (R172) ser best ut av dem alle. Alle laget etter samme konsept: &laquo;Sportslich, Leicht und Kurz&raquo;. Roadster&#8217;e bygget av komponenter fra tilh\u00f8rende C-klasser. Sportsbiler som hvem som helst kunne kj\u00f8pe. I dag begynner prisene p\u00e5 R170 fra 50 000. La oss se n\u00e6rmere p\u00e5 hva vi f\u00e5r.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Facelift for 2001-modellen<\/h3>\n<p>R170 ble laget i to serier. Den f\u00f8rste ble produsert fra 1996-2000. Den andre, en facelifted utgave, ble produsert fra modell\u00e5ret 2001 til 2004. Visuelle forandringer besto av ny plastikk under grillen foran, nye kanalskj\u00f8rt lakkert helt ned, samt nytt nedre bakstykke. Motormessig fikk alle motorer kompressor. 2-literen p\u00e5 134 HK uten kompressor forsvant ut av modellprogrammet. Innstegsmotoren ble 200K (kompressor) som leverte 163 HK. 2.3-liters motoren &#8211; ogs\u00e5 den med kompressor &#8211; fikk en effekt\u00f8kning fra 190 HK til 194 HK. Videre ble det mulig \u00e5 bestille SLK med den &#8211; n\u00e5 klassiske &#8211; 3.2 V6-motoren. Det er alts\u00e5 flere grunner til at man b\u00f8r g\u00e5 for den facelifted&#8217;e modellen. Den st\u00f8rste er alt man ikke kan se, &#8211; en rekke endringer tidligere innrapportert som svakheter.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Hva man skal se opp for <\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Rust<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>P\u00e5 grunn av d\u00e5rlig st\u00e5l, ble alle Mercedes&#8217;er rundt \u00e5rhundreskiftet rammet av alvorlig rust. Det rammet alle modeller fra den minste til den st\u00f8rste. Friskmeldingen kom med 2003-modellene, &#8211; alts\u00e5 siste \u00e5rgang av R170. Likevel har SLK greidd seg bedre enn sine br\u00f8dre CLK (W208) og C-klasse (W202). Mange SLK&#8217;er ble anskaffet som bil nummer to og fikk kanskje hedersplassen i garasjen. Da Mercedes-Benz&#8217; rustproblemer ble kjent, valgte mange \u00e5 rustbeskytte bilene sine. Det betyr ikke at SLK&#8217;er er fritatt fra rust. Det finnes steder man vanskelig kan inspisere, blant annet innfestning av framskjermer og bakre hjulbuer. Det kan ogs\u00e5 forekomme rust i C-stolpene som holder\/fester taket. Det krever regelmessig bruk for \u00e5 fungere. Mange opplever funksjonsfeil etter vinteropplag. Det kan oppst\u00e5 feil i mikrosvitsjer, ledningsnett og hydraulikkpumpa.
