Niv\u00e5et p\u00e5 batteriene hadde knapt minket. For elbiler er det \u00e9n ting som gjelder mer enn noe annet: <em>Rekkevidde<\/em>. Ser vi bort fra Tesla-klassen, er det kun tre biler som tilbyr rekkevidde til hytta i Gudbrandsdalen uten \u00e5 lade underveis. Opel Ampera-e, KIA e-Niro og Hyundai Kona Electric.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nMed rekkevidde p\u00e5 449 km (WLTP) forestiller jeg meg at Hyundai valgte en crossover-plattform for \u00e5 t\u00e5le vekten av batteriene. Men Kona&#8217;en er ingen vektbombe. Den veier bare 155 kg mer enn e-Golf og 265 kg mer enn Hyundai Ioniq. Hyundai Kona tilbys ogs\u00e5 med bensinmotor, men den avgiftsgunstige elbilen har naturligvis f\u00e5tt st\u00f8rst oppmerksomhet. Flere tusen st\u00e5r p\u00e5 venteliste. Forhandlerkjeden Birger N Haug antyder 2 \u00e5rs ventetid.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Super rekkevidde<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg synes den elektriske versjonen ser finere ut enn bensinversjonen. Den blindede, fargeavstemte grillen gj\u00f8r fronten mer harmonisk. Selv om utseende er ganske anonymt, merket jeg at bilen vakte en viss interesse &#8211; i hvert fall sammenlignet med andre biler jeg kj\u00f8rer. Mange kjenner igjen bilen. Kanskje de selv har en i bestilling. Rekkevidde er et h\u00f8yst relativt begrep &#8211; avhengig av v\u00e6r og vind og, ikke minst, hvem som sitter bak rattet. Jeg trenger \u00e5 se rekkevidden med egne \u00f8yne. Plutselig gikk det opp for meg at denne bilen faktisk kan lastes opp og kj\u00f8res non-stop fra B\u00e6rum til hytta i Gudbrandsdalen. For cirka 360 000 f\u00e5r du en bil fullspekket med moderne utstyr og Tesla-rekkevidde. <em>&laquo;Det er en s\u00e5nn elbil du m\u00e5 ha&raquo;<\/em>, tenkte jeg. 204 hester og konstant dreiemoment p\u00e5 395 Nm er som en dr\u00f8m p\u00e5 veien. Drivverket er mer enn nok. I Sport-modus reagerer bilen s\u00e5 spontant at jeg ikke kan la v\u00e6re \u00e5 glise f\u00e5rete. Ulv i f\u00e5rekl\u00e6r.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">P\u00e5 veien<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg byttet litt p\u00e5 \u00e5 kj\u00f8re i Eco-modus og i vanlig Comfort-modus. Eco-modus fungerer bra, men alt f\u00f8ltes mye bedre i Comfort. Etter noen mil fikk jeg inntrykk av at det er mulig \u00e5 kj\u00f8re like \u00f8konomisk i Comfort som i Eco-modus, gitt at man kj\u00f8rer &laquo;\u00f8ko-aktivt&raquo;, det vil si at man passer p\u00e5 \u00e5 gjenvinne energi der det er hensiktsmessig og ellers er forsiktig med gassen. Den kunstige motorbremsen styres med paddle-shifts p\u00e5 rattet. Det gj\u00f8r det underholdende \u00e5 kj\u00f8re \u00f8konomisk. Til \u00e5 v\u00e6re h\u00f8ybygd, krenger den lite i svingene. Frav\u00e6ret av motorlyd gj\u00f8r at man h\u00f8rer understellet godt n\u00e5r det jobber med underlaget. Understellet mestrer de <em>store<\/em> ujevnhetene godt. Dem er det ganske mange p\u00e5 de v\u00e5rlige Osloveiene akkurat n\u00e5. Men av og til f\u00f8lte jeg at bittesm\u00e5 vertikale ujevnheter forplantet seg alt for godt inn i kupeen. Ru asfalt slapp ogs\u00e5 inn en del dekkst\u00f8y. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Interi\u00f8ret<\/h3>\n<p>Hyundai Kona har alt man kan forvente av en moderne elbil, men befinner seg naturligvis i en annen klasse enn Tesla&#8217;ene som koster dobbelt s\u00e5 mye. Skulle jeg peke ut en konkurrent, m\u00e5 det bli Opel Ampera. Sitteputen i Kona f\u00f8les som en benk uten sidest\u00f8tte &#8211; i hvert fall for meg som ikke har s\u00e6rlig bredt akterparti. Seteryggen, derimot, gir god st\u00f8tte. Kona&#8217;ens instrumentpanel og infotainment-system virker mer konvensjonelt enn i Ampera. Instrumenter, betjeningshendler og knapper fungerer helt alright, mens Amperas f\u00f8rermilj\u00f8 virker et hakk mer hi-tech. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Plass<\/h3>\n<p>Sammen med andre biler, synes jeg Hyundai Kona virker ganske stor, &#8211; faktisk en tanke lengere enn de 4,18 meterne som st\u00e5r i papirene. Den virker st\u00f8rre enn Ampera, selv om de ytre m\u00e5lene er noks\u00e5 like. Bak rattet f\u00e5r jeg f\u00f8lelsen av \u00e5 kj\u00f8re en bil p\u00e5 st\u00f8rrelse med Nissan Qashqai og Audi Q3. F\u00f8rst da jeg sjekket plassen i baksetet og i bagasjerommet, oppdaget jeg at den i virkeligheten befinner seg en klasse under, &#8211; som tallene riktignok viser. Jeg er 1,88 og kan sitte bak meg selv med knapp margin. Som sj\u00e5f\u00f8r ville jeg nok ha skj\u00f8vet f\u00f8rersetet litt frem som et kompromiss. Baksetet gir neppe plass for bakovervendt barnesete uten \u00e5 skyve tilh\u00f8rende framstol et stykke frem. P\u00e5 minussiden kommer at den er litt for liten for sm\u00e5barnsfamilier.
