Japansk kvalitet som gjorde stor suksess her hjemme. Dagens \u00abHiAce\u00bb lages i Frankrike sammen med nye Peugeot Expert og Citro\u00ebn Jumpy. Snart ruller ogs\u00e5 nye Opel Vivaro ut i samme drakt, skj\u00f8nt den skal produseres i Luton, Storbritannia.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nMed bare 1000 km p\u00e5 telleren er det for tidlig \u00e5 uttale seg om holdbarheten. Jeg hadde bestilt den lange utgaven av Toyota ProAce for \u00e5 frakte m\u00f8bler opp til familiens feriested p\u00e5 F\u00e5vang. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Ikke for nordiske karer<\/h3>\n<p>Nesten hver gang jeg setter meg inn i en varebil forbanner jeg h\u00f8yden min. Jeg er 1,88 meter h\u00f8y. Ikke unormalt for en nordboer, men cirka 5 cm for h\u00f8y til \u00e5 finne en perfekt kj\u00f8restilling i varebiler. Jeg forst\u00e5r varebilprodusentene. Skulle de tatt hensyn til s\u00e5nne som meg, m\u00e5tte skilleveggen flyttes 5 cm bakover, &#8211; og da ville det ikke v\u00e6rt plass til tre Europaller. Et n\u00f8dvendig kompromiss. Etter en del frem og tilbake greier jeg likevel \u00e5 finne en akseptabel kj\u00f8restilling. Seteryggen m\u00e5 st\u00e5 rakt opp, setet helt tilbake og litt opp, s\u00e5 jeg f\u00e5r litt l\u00e5rst\u00f8tte til venstre ben i det minste. Vi la ned midtarmlenet med vridbar \u00abkontorpult\u00bb. Koppholderne er nedfelt i dashbordet. Det var i grunnen ganske alright \u00e5 sitte godt hevet over trafikken, med kaffekoppen foran seg. Det eneste som manglet, var en pakke kjeks eller sm\u00e5kaker.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<em>\u00abIkke s\u00e6rlig bekvemt for vonde rygger\u00bb<\/em> kom det fra passasjersetet. Det doble passasjersetet er kun for <em>transport<\/em>, ikke komfort. De minner om flystolene p\u00e5 Ryanair. De f\u00f8rste to timene g\u00e5r som regel bra, deretter begynner krampene. F\u00f8ret oppover var vinterlig med tidvis noe l\u00f8ssn\u00f8 i veibanen. ProAce\u2019n l\u00e5 st\u00f8dig, ogs\u00e5 ved feltskift der vi m\u00e5tte forsere kanter med l\u00f8ssn\u00f8. Jeg tror vekten av lasten medvirket til den gode stabiliteten. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Flyttemann for en helg<\/h3>\n<p>Det gikk raskere \u00e5 losse enn \u00e5 laste. Mens kona monterte den nye IKEA-sofaen i loftsstuen, lastet jeg opp bilen igjen, &#8211; andre m\u00f8bler som vi skulle droppe av p\u00e5 tilbakturen. De to brede sided\u00f8rene gjorde det lett \u00e5 komme til. Men det er slitsomt \u00e5 v\u00e6re flyttemann. Et godt tips er \u00e5 surre lastestropper rundt tingene for \u00e5 f\u00e5 godt feste n\u00e5r du skal l\u00f8fte. ProAce&#8217;n holdt 6. giret i stigninger hvor jeg hadde m\u00e5ttet gire ned med lasten vi hadde oppover. Ved \u00d8yer tok vi igjen s\u00f8ndagstrafikken. I hastigheter pluss-minus 70 km\/t og minus 9 grader falt gjennomsnittsforbruket. M\u00e5lt p\u00e5 kj\u00f8recomputeren n\u00f8yde ProAce&#8217;n seg med 0,48 liter pr mil mellom Tretten og Hamar. P\u00e5 vei opp l\u00e5 vi p\u00e5 fartsgrensene mellom 80 og 110 km\/t. Da havnet gjennomsnittsforbruket til slutt p\u00e5 0,59 liter\/mil etter 24 mil med ett stopp. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">122 hester duger<\/h3>\n<p>Ingen ting i ProAce er &laquo;made by Toyota&raquo;. Bortsett fra logoen i grillen, er den identisk med sine franske br\u00f8dre i PSA-konsernet. S\u00e5 ogs\u00e5 drivverket. 2-liters BlueHDI-motor med 6-trinns manuell girkasse leverer 122 HK og dreiemoment p\u00e5 340 Nm fra 1750 omdreininger. Ingen merkbar turbo-lag, god seigdragningsevne og bra punch n\u00e5r det beh\u00f8ves. Det finnes ogs\u00e5 en 2-liter med 177 HK i modellprogrammet. Jeg f\u00f8lte ikke noe behov for mer kraft enn 122-hesteren. For den prisen f\u00e5r man blant annet to skyved\u00f8rer, ekstra sidevindu begge sider, Xenon, LED kj\u00f8relys, blindsonevarsling, ryggekamera og stoffseter med PVC p\u00e5 slitasjeflatene. Klimaanlegget m\u00e5 stilles manuelt (Ingen &laquo;auto&raquo;-knapp). Varmeanlegget fungerte godt. Isfrie ruter og varm cockpit p\u00e5 et \u00f8yeblikk da vi startet opp i minus 15 grader. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Konklusjon<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg innser at man vel m\u00e5 v\u00e6re i overkant bil-nerd for \u00e5 skrive om varebiler som er bygget for \u00e5 oppfylle n\u00e6ringslivets bilfl\u00e5te-program. De fleste som sitter bak rattet, har f\u00e5tt n\u00f8klene av arbeidsgiver. Kun business, ingen forn\u00f8yelse &#8211; god nok, men ingen luksus. Selv fikk jeg inntrykk av en varebil som fungerer bra p\u00e5 sn\u00f8fylte, glatte vinterveier og kaldt v\u00e6r. Ytelser og forbruk er p\u00e5 h\u00f8yde med de beste i bransjen. Grei \u00e5 laste, grei \u00e5 man\u00f8vrere. Slettes ikke noe d\u00e5rlig sted \u00e5 v\u00e6re n\u00e5r man trenger \u00e5 ha med seg et varerom fullt av m\u00f8bler p\u00e5 veien.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<blockquote><p>Tiden vil vise om
