Det rammel\u00f8se sidevinduet g\u00e5r automatisk litt ned n\u00e5r man \u00e5pner d\u00f8ren. Rene linjer, flatskjerm og elektronikk \u2013 et milj\u00f8 for smarte mennesker i kontor-dresser og nette drakter med pc-veske. Jeg fant raskt en grei sittestilling, men f\u00f8lte at setene kunne hatt litt mer sidest\u00f8tte. Interi\u00f8ret i denne bilen er uansett annerledes enn alt annet jeg har sett. Det er gr\u00e5tt med bl\u00e5 detaljer som understreker elbil-temaet.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00f8kkelen skal ikke settes inn noe sted. Du trenger bare \u00e5 ha den i n\u00e6rheten for \u00e5 bruke Start\/Stopp-knappen. Hvis du starter uten \u00e5 holde foten p\u00e5 bremsen, settes tenningen p\u00e5 i radiomodus, mens du m\u00e5 holde foten p\u00e5 bremsen for \u00e5 sette i ready-modus. P\u00e5 nyere BMW&#8217;er er det en egen knapp p\u00e5 girhendelen for &laquo;Park&raquo;. Jeg synes en ordin\u00e6r &laquo;PRND&raquo; girspak er mer intuitiv.<\/p>\n<p>Kvaliteten p\u00e5 knapper, brytere og plast f\u00f8les god. Deler av dashboardet og d\u00f8rene er kledt med et teddyf\u00f4r-aktig stoff som ser ganske coolt ut. Det <em>er<\/em> ikke teddyf\u00f4r, men et materiale som sikkert er lett \u00e5 resirkulere den dagen bilen havner i pressa.<\/p>\n<p>Jeg noterte meg for \u00f8vrig god radiolyd, parkeringssensor og navigasjon. Dreiemomentet p\u00e5 250 Nm st\u00e5r til disposisjon fra stillest\u00e5ende, og parkerer de fleste i lyskryssene. Bilen b\u00e5de <em>er<\/em> og f\u00f8les kjapp i bytrafikk, for eksempel n\u00e5r man skal smette inn i trafikk. Men jeg opplevde p\u00e5fallende mange MGIF-sj\u00e5f\u00f8rer i trafikken (MGIF \u2013 Must Get In First), noe jeg aldri opplevde i e-Golfen jeg kj\u00f8rte for noen dager siden.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Ser de ikke forskjell mellom en BMW i3 og en Think?<\/p>\n<p>P\u00e5 landeveien la jeg merke til at man sitter ganske h\u00f8yt. Jeg s\u00e5 ned p\u00e5 vanlige biler, mens h\u00f8ybygde biler, som for eksempel Volkswagen Tiguan, var p\u00e5 samme niv\u00e5. Kraften var helt r\u00e5. Jeg merket det godt langs Gamle Mossevei hvor jeg stadig m\u00e5tte smette forbi treningssyklister fra 30 km\/t. Jeg f\u00f8lte ogs\u00e5 at jeg kunne ta svingene i god fart. Det virket som om bilen satte seg ned i svingene. Det f\u00f8ltes trygt.<\/p>\n<p>Bak rattet p\u00e5 i3 vil du spesielt legge merke til styringen og motorbremsen. Styringen retter seg ikke opp. Du m\u00e5 \u00abgjete\u00bb bilen gjennom hele svingen. Et minus for kj\u00f8reglede langs svingete landeveier. En annen snodighet merker du n\u00e5r du slipper opp gassen. Da f\u00e5r du en ganske kraftig motorbrems, som egentlig er en ladefunksjon. Med en gang du letter litt p\u00e5 gassen, kan du se p\u00e5 ladem\u00e5leren at batteriene tilf\u00f8res str\u00f8m. Hvis du l\u00f8fter <em>gassfoten br\u00e5tt<\/em>, vil bilen bremse ganske markant. Det tar ikke lang tid f\u00f8r man venner seg til \u00e5 bremse med gassen uten \u00e5 bruke bremsepedalen.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00e5 e-Golf kunne jeg selv velge \u00e5 sette p\u00e5 motorbrems via girspaken eller la hjulene l\u00f8pe fritt n\u00e5r jeg slapp opp gassen. Jeg er overbevist om at man kan spare mye energi ved \u00e5 utnytte frihjulseffekten optimalt. Dette f\u00e5r du alts\u00e5 ikke lov til av BMW, men likevel tror jeg at i3&#8217;en gikk mer \u00f8konomisk enn e-Golfen.<\/p>\n<p>Du kan kj\u00f8re BMW i3 i tre modus, \u00abComfort\u00bb, \u00abEco Pro\u00bb og \u00abEco Pro+\u00bb. Jeg kj\u00f8rte for det meste p\u00e5 \u00abEco Pro\u00bb fordi jeg opplevde liten forskjell mellom \u00abEco Pro\u00bb og \u00abEco Pro+\u00bb bortsett fra endring i klimaanlegg og selvp\u00e5lagt fartsgrense p\u00e5 90 km\/t. <\/p>\n<p>Jeg kjenner mennesker som uten minste frykt kj\u00f8rer sin i3 fra Oslo til Hvaler uten lading underveis. Jeg har ikke m\u00e5lt rekkevidde, men etter \u00e5 ha kj\u00f8rt en rolig tur p\u00e5 81 kilometer, hadde jeg bare brukt litt over halvparten av kapasiteten. Det jeg liker best, er lydbildet. Jeg synes dekkene var mindre h\u00f8rbare enn i e-Golf, men s\u00e5 dreier det ogs\u00e5 om en helt annen dimensjon, 155\/70R19, smale og h\u00f8ye &#8211; med masse gummi. Det var mulig \u00e5 h\u00f8re en svak motorlyd ved gassp\u00e5drag, men den kuleste lyden av alle, er den man f\u00e5r n\u00e5r man slipper opp gassen og lar bilen stanse av seg selv, for eksempel foran fotgjengere. &laquo;Zzzz-eee-uh&raquo; &#8211; en sv\u00e6rt futurisk lyd.<\/p>\n<p>Komforten under kj\u00f8ring er god. Den tar unna ujevnheter og hull i veien p\u00e5 en fin m\u00e5te, selv p\u00e5 steder der jeg forventet \u00e5 f\u00e5 et slag. Med tanke p\u00e5 at bilens totallengde er 400 cm burde det v\u00e6re mulig \u00e5 f\u00e5 utformet et skikkelig baksete, men her antar jeg at batteriene f\u00e5r ta skylden. Jeg f\u00f8ler at designerne av i3 ikke har fokusert s\u00e6rlig mye p\u00e5 plass slik man forventer i en familiebil. Stilmessig skilter heller ikke i3 av \u00e5 v\u00e6re noen familiebil.
