En av nyhetene er at man kan kj\u00f8re med \u00e9n pedal. Som reklamestemmen sier: <em>&laquo;- \u00c9n pedal &#8230; til gassing &#8230; og bremsing.<\/em>&raquo; Samtidig popper det opp en liten logo nederst p\u00e5 skjermen. &laquo;e-Pedal&raquo;. Som et slags varemerke. &laquo;e-Pedal by Nissan&raquo;, &#8211; liksom? Men dette er ingen nyhet. BMW innf\u00f8rte dette i 2009 &#8211; f\u00f8rst for Mini E, senere p\u00e5 sin egen BMW i3.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Fungerer bedre enn man skulle tro<\/h3>\n<p>\u00c5 kj\u00f8re med \u00e9n pedal kjenner jeg kun fra BMW i3. Alle ladbare biler har jo en eller annen form for kunstig motorbrems som tilbakef\u00f8rer mer eller mindre energi til batteriene, men det er ikke det samme som \u00e5 kj\u00f8re med \u00e9n pedal. Det spesielle med BMW i3 er at du ikke trenger \u00e5 flytte foten over p\u00e5 bremsen under normal kj\u00f8ring. L\u00f8fter du foten langsomt, bremser bilen langsomt. Slipper du opp gassen br\u00e5tt, bremser bilen opp akkurat som du ville gjort med bremsepedalen. Ved kraftig oppbremsing kan du h\u00f8re en svak hvinelyd. Det er som musikk i mine \u00f8rer. Det betyr at jeg f\u00e5r ekstra kilometer &#8211; helt gratis.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Optimalt energi-opptak<\/h3>\n<p>Den st\u00f8rste fordelen med \u00e5 kj\u00f8re elbiler med \u00e9n pedal, er at bilen er i stand til \u00e5 fange opp retardasjonsenergi helt optimalt. Du f\u00e5r selvf\u00f8lgelig gjenvunnet str\u00f8m ved \u00e5 bruke de ordin\u00e6re bremsene ogs\u00e5. Men jeg forestiller meg at de stjeler mer energi. BMW i3 er da ogs\u00e5 k\u00e5ret til den mest energi-effektive elbilen i flere fora. Jeg sp\u00e5r at vi med tiden kommer til \u00e5 se ytterligere forbedringer. I dag er det forsket mye p\u00e5 \u00e5 lage intelligente girkasser som l\u00f8pende overv\u00e5ker kj\u00f8rem\u00f8nster og omgivelser. Den samme intelligens kan jo ogs\u00e5 benyttes ved <em>bremsing<\/em> &#8211; ved \u00e5 lese bevegelsene i den samme gasspedalen. Jo mer intelligent, jo flere kilometer f\u00e5r vi.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Hvordan bremselysene tennes<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg har tidligere uttrykt skepsis til hvordan bremselysene p\u00e5virkes n\u00e5r man bremser med gassen. BMW i3 er en popul\u00e6r bil. Mange av dem kj\u00f8res av f\u00f8rere som gir d\u00f8yten i hvordan bremselysene tennes. Etter \u00e5 ha studert i3&#8217;er p\u00e5 veien i flere \u00e5r, er min konklusjon at BMW i3 tenner bremselysene automatisk n\u00e5r bilen faktisk er i retardasjon &#8211; tilsynelatende via en slags retardasjonsm\u00e5ler.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Bruk bremsepedalen av og til!<\/h3>\n<p>En annen skepsis er at bremsene som kjent, m\u00e5 brukes regelmessig. Det gjelder alle biler, men kan v\u00e6re lett \u00e5 glemme n\u00e5r bremsepedalen kun brukes til br\u00e5bremsing. Og skulle det oppst\u00e5 en n\u00f8dbremsing, er det betryggende \u00e5 vite at oppbremsingen starter allerede f\u00f8r du har l\u00f8ftet foten fra gassen.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Gir ekstra km &#8211; ikke kj\u00f8reglede<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg liker BMW i3. Den er morsom \u00e5 kj\u00f8re uten at jeg kan sette fingeren eksakt p\u00e5 hva det er jeg digger. I forhold til kj\u00f8reglede stiller jeg meg likegyldig til \u00e5 kj\u00f8re med \u00e9n pedal. Bak rattet synes jeg en vanlig, kunstig motorbrems fungerer helt alright. Jeg gir likevel tommel opp for \u00e9n-pedal fordi den gir meg ekstra kilometer.
