De hammer-formede kj\u00f8relysene gj\u00f8r ikke bare en god jobb som kj\u00f8relys, de skaper gjenkjennelseseffekt. Du skj\u00f8nner med en gang at de tilh\u00f8rer en Volvo.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Det er ikke lett \u00e5 oppdage V40s facelift ved f\u00f8rste \u00f8yekast. Den st\u00f8rste endringen er nemlig under panseret.  &laquo;Min&raquo; V40 denne s\u00f8ndagen hadde den nye D2-motoren p\u00e5 120 HK og dreiemoment p\u00e5 280 Nm mellom 1500 og 2250 omdreininger. Den er en nedtunet versjon av samme 2-liter som sitter i D3. Den &laquo;gamle&raquo; D2-motoren fra Peugeot var ikke s\u00e6rlig responsiv f\u00f8r turboen slo inn. Nye D2, derimot, svarer p\u00e5 gassen allerede fra tomgang. Ikke bare er den morsommere \u00e5 kj\u00f8re, &#8211; den har ogs\u00e5 et lavere forbruk. Oppgitt EU-forbruk er kun 0,36 liter pr mil. Fleip eller fakta?<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Oppgitt EU-forbruk er fakta<\/h3>\n<p>M\u00e5let for s\u00f8ndagsturen var Gardermoen, deretter til bruktmesse i Letohallen p\u00e5 Dal. Hjemveien fra Dal gikk s\u00f8rover via gamle E6 gjennom Mogreina, fylkesvei 454 mellom Jessheim og Kl\u00f8fta, og deretter motorveien til Oslo. Blandet kj\u00f8ring og delvis helgetrafikk. Ikke s\u00e5 fjernt fra det kj\u00f8reprogrammet som danner basis for m\u00e5ling av &laquo;EU-forbruk&raquo;. D\u00f8r til d\u00f8r ble gjennomsnittsforbruket 0,36 liter pr mil med gjennomsnittsfart p\u00e5 69 km\/t. Like f\u00f8r jeg svingte av hovedveien var tallene enda bedre, &#8211; nemlig 0,35 liter pr mil og 72 km\/t. Volvos egne forbrukstall er hhv. 0,36 og 0,39 &#8211; landevei og blandet kj\u00f8ring. Den manuelle 6-trinnskassa er godt tilpasset norske hastigheter. P\u00e5 6. gir kan du cruise i 80 km\/t p\u00e5 1200 omdreininger. Helt uanstrengt. Jeg liker setene veldig godt. De er bedre enn stolene du finner i mange m\u00f8belforretninger. Jeg har l\u00e5nt en V40 Cross Country. Den har offroad-effekter i plast og er hevet med 40 millimeter i forhold til vanlig V40. Det er ikke s\u00e5 lett \u00e5 se fra utsiden, men bak rattet merket jeg forskjellen. Ikke p\u00e5 kj\u00f8reegenskapene, men \u00f8yeh\u00f8yde i forhold til andre biler. Jeg synes V40 Cross Country ser ut som en nedskalert versjon av tidligere XC60. Man kan jo sp\u00f8rre seg om man trenger en bil som bare <em>ser ut<\/em> som om den har firehjulstrekk n\u00e5r nesten alle modellene leveres med forhjulsdrift. Du m\u00e5 oppgradere til motorst\u00f8rrelse T4 (190 HK turbo bensin) for \u00e5 velge firehjulstrekk.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">SAS-museet<\/h3>\n<p>P\u00e5 vestsiden av Oslo Lufthavn Gardermoen ligger SAS-Museet. Det er \u00e5pent kun p\u00e5 tirsdager og s\u00f8ndager. Det har gratis adgang og inneholder en fin samling av objekter &#8211; s\u00e5kalte memorabilia &#8211; forbundet med tidlige tiders flyvninger. Museet har utgang til et lite utkikkst\u00e5rn hvor det er mulig \u00e5 studere og fotografere flytrafikken p\u00e5 vestre rullebane, men det var dessverre stengt p\u00e5 grunn av is og sn\u00f8. Rullebanene p\u00e5  Fornebu var alt for korte for langdistansefly, som Boeing 747.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Fra SAS-samlingen dro jeg videre til Leto-hallen. Der var det en stor bruktmesse med massevis av snurrepiperier. Brudekjoler, pjolterglass og gamle Dinky Toys lekebiler i originalesker fra 60- og 70-\u00e5rene. Kundene ved lekebilene var menn, &#8211; minst like gr\u00e5 i h\u00e5ret som meg. Det var artig \u00e5 ta en titt, men jeg kj\u00f8pte ingen ting. Ikke denne gangen.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">V40 tilh\u00f8rer premium Golf-klasse<\/h3>\n<p>Prismessig konkurrerer V40 Cross Country med biler som Audi A3, BMW 1-serie, Mercedes-Benz A-klasse og Volkswagen Golf. Jeg forestiller meg at sistnevnte er mer utbredt enn V40. Det gjelder i hvert fall de modellene som tilbyr hybridl\u00f8sninger, noe V40 ikke gj\u00f8r. V40 er ikke det f\u00f8rste jeg tenker p\u00e5 n\u00e5r noen nevner premium Golf-klasse. Men den er et reelt alternativ. Skilt og firmadekaler er redigert bort.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Hvis du er interessert i V40 Cross Country, ville jeg tatt en titt p\u00e5 T3. Med 6-trinns manuell girkasse f\u00e5r du en 2 liters turbo bensinmotor som yter hele 150 HK og et dreiemoment p\u00e5 250 Nm mellom 1300 og 4000 (!) omdreininger. P\u00e5 papiret er dette en glimrende kraftpakke. EU-forbruket for V40 Cross Country T3 er oppgitt til 0,55 liter pr mil. Gitt at ogs\u00e5 dette forbruket er oppn\u00e5elig i hverdagskj\u00f8ring, kan du med dagens drivstoffpriser og \u00e5rlig kj\u00f8relengde p\u00e5 30 000 km spare 1 000 kr pr m\u00e5ned ved \u00e5 velge diesel fremfor bensin &#8211; rent teoretisk alts\u00e5. Dette er verdt \u00e5 ta med i regnestykket hvis du vurderer leasing.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nEn V40 Cross Country Basis med D2 og manuell girkasse koster 330 900 kroner. Komplett utstyrt med vinterdekk kan nok fakturaprisen ende rundt 400 000. Av utstyr du <em>m\u00e5<\/em> ha, er Thors Hammer (kj\u00f8relysene). Jeg anbefaler ogs\u00e5 Volvos skinnseter. Jeg ville ogs\u00e5 vurdere speed-sensitiv styring. Styringen er p\u00e5 typisk Volvo-vis noks\u00e5 tung. Den f\u00f8les passe st\u00f8dig og tung p\u00e5 motorvei, men kanskje ikke optimalt i lavere hastigheter. Jeg synes infotainmentsystemet p\u00e5 V40 begynner \u00e5 dra p\u00e5 \u00e5rene, sammenlignet med de beste. Jeg liker heller ikke det prisbel\u00f8nte knappe-clusteret p\u00e5 midtkonsollet selv om det ser stilig ut. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">S\u00e5 hvor mye Volvo er V40 Cross Country?<\/h3>\n<p>La oss starte med motorene. De deles mellom flere Volvoer, &#8211; ogs\u00e5 D2 og T3 drivverkene som er omtalt her. Setene er ekte Volvoseter. Det er 4 gode seter. Femtemann vil m\u00e5tte vagle p\u00e5 midtkonsollen. Interi\u00f8ret for \u00f8vrig er solid og vil holde seg godt i flere ti\u00e5r. Bagasjeplassen er litt mindre enn i ordin\u00e6re Audi A4 og VW Golf, men vesentlig st\u00f8rre enn i hybridmodellene. V40 er ingen utpreget familiebil, &#8211; mer en bil for familier med barna ute av &laquo;redet&raquo;, yngre mennesker eller sm\u00e5 familier. Sikkerheten er p\u00e5 topp. V40 ble testet i 2012 og fikk n\u00e6rmest toppscore. Kun vanlig V40 er testet. Ikke V40 Cross Country.
