Jeg konkluderte med at denne motoren helt sikkert ville bli i nye Polo 6 &#8211; som jeg var trodde skulle komme i 2016. Jeg tok feil to ganger. Nye Polo 6 skulle ikke komme f\u00f8r to \u00e5r senere, som 2018-modell, &#8211; og den fine 1.2-liters TSI motoren finnes ikke i motorutvalget. Der er det kun 3-sylindrede 1,0-litersmotorer. Det skal komme kraftigere motorer etter hvert, men ingen 1.2-liter.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nMaks dreiemomentet, 160 Nm, leveres langs en dreiemomentkurve som ligger nesten helt flat mellom 1400 til 4000 omdreininger. Man merker ganske godt n\u00e5r turboen sl\u00e5r inn litt over tomgangshastighet. Du kan h\u00f8re det p\u00e5 motorlyden. Det er mulig \u00e5 kjenne et turbo-lag ogs\u00e5. Ikke p\u00e5 veien. Men hvis du for eksempel skal finman\u00f8vrere p\u00e5 en parkeringsplass, kan du merke det. Motoren henger igjen, du kompenserer ved \u00e5 gi mer gass, og plutselig skyter bilen tilsynelatende umotivert fart. Dette er et typisk trekk ved alle turbomotorer.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDet som gj\u00f8r 1.2 TSI s\u00e5 bra, er at kraften leveres over hele det turtallsomr\u00e5det man vanligvis bruker. Man kan kj\u00f8re ganske aktivt uten \u00e5 m\u00e5tte jobbe med girspaken hele tiden. Bilen f\u00f8les &laquo;peppy&raquo; under bykj\u00f8ring. Den akselererer bra b\u00e5de fra stillest\u00e5ende, og ved forbikj\u00f8ringer. Motorveikj\u00f8ring i europeiske motorveihastigheter fungerer ogs\u00e5 bra. Ikke bare er de st\u00f8rre, kraftigere og dyrere, men ogs\u00e5 i bedre stand enn denne leiebilen jeg disponerer i 10 dager. Alle st\u00f8tfangerne b\u00e6rer preg av Barcelonas nonchalante  parkeringskultur. Venstre ford\u00f8r har en bulk som er midlertidig rettet opp. Dekkene er p\u00e5 1 mm-stadiet, h\u00e5ndbrekket er alt for slakt og i f\u00f8lge instrumentbordet er det tid for oljeskift. Km-telleren viser 55 000 km. Det er mye for en leiebil som er behandlet uten kj\u00e6rlighet.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDet er likevel noe spesielt ved Polo og denne 1,2 TSI-motoren.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nP\u00e5 vei fra flyplassen rundt midtnatt i 140 km\/t p\u00e5 Autopista 7, kommenterte kona mi hvor st\u00f8dig og stilleg\u00e5ende bilen gikk. Hun har selv eid en Polo 5 for noen \u00e5r siden. Selv har jeg mistet tellingen p\u00e5 hvor mange Polo 5 jeg  har kj\u00f8rt i tiden mellom 2009 og 2017, flere med 1.2 TSI. Og konklusjonen er den samme hver gang. For det er nemlig ikke bare motoregenskapene og den veltilpassede manuelle 5-trinnskassen som scorer h\u00f8yt. Jeg liker ogs\u00e5 lydbildet. Den 4-sylindrede motoren er absolutt h\u00f8rbar, men brummer uten sjenerende h\u00f8yfrekvent summing og uling som mange sm\u00e5 motorer har.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nJeg tror ikke det blir lenge til jeg sitter bak rattet p\u00e5 den nye Polo 6. Da vil motoren v\u00e6re en 3-sylindret motor p\u00e5 1,0 liter med 95 hester og et dreiemoment p\u00e5 175 Nm mellom 2000-3500 omdreininger. Jeg er skeptisk til lydbildet i 3-sylindrede motorer. De l\u00e5ter sjarmerende p\u00e5 korte turer, men blir trettende p\u00e5 lange turer.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDagens 1,0-liters <em>MPI-motor<\/em>, som har v\u00e6rt p\u00e5 markedet i flere \u00e5r n\u00e5, ble skrytt opp i skyene av en samlet motorpresse. Selv greier jeg ikke \u00e5 akseptere at en Polo skal l\u00e5te som en scooter. Det skal likevel bli spennende \u00e5 pr\u00f8ve Volkswagens nye 1,0-liters Polo-motor. Det sies at <em>&laquo;less is more&raquo;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Inntil videre er 1,2 TSI 90 verdens beste Polo-motor &#8230; blant terjesbiler.no \ud83d\ude42<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<figure
