Br\u00f8drene Henry og Sverre Harrfeldt har begge hatt suksess som speedway-kj\u00f8rere.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nTidligere p\u00e5 dagen hadde jeg v\u00e6rt innom NMK Drammens arrangement p\u00e5 Drammen Travbane. Det startet med en oppvisning i speedwaykj\u00f8ring. Det brakte minner fra min egen barndom, da jeg sammen med andre guttunger s\u00e5 speedway p\u00e5 Jarlsberg Travbane. Etterp\u00e5 trente vi p\u00e5 \u00e5 &laquo;drifte&raquo; sideveis med tr\u00e5syklene v\u00e5re p\u00e5 l\u00f8sgrusen. En av gutta hadde speedway-styre. Vi ville se Trond Schea briljere med Lotus Cortina, Escort Twincam eller Mustang. Ingen av oss hadde vel egentlig <em>sett<\/em> Trond Schea som noe annet enn en skygge inne i lederbilen. Likevel var han et idol for oss unge. Jeg hadde en poster p\u00e5 gutterommet av Scheas Ford Escort Mk1 Twincam Rally i luftig svev.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nJeg liker rallybiler som er bygget opp fra vanlige gatebiler, der for eksempel Volvo fremdeles er <em>Volvo<\/em> og Ford er <em>Ford<\/em>. Ikke som l\u00f8psbiler uten synlig forankring i noen av modellene man kan se langs veien. Jeg vet lite om bilsport. Der fikk jeg studere ekte speedwaysykler. Lavt tyngdepunkt, ingen bremser, kun ett gir. S\u00e5nn det skal v\u00e6re. Det var ogs\u00e5 nostalgiske motorsykler og biler &#8211; b\u00e5de utstilt og oppvist p\u00e5 banen. Jeg synes det var morsomt \u00e5 se igjen eldre rallybiler, som Ford Escort mk1, mk2, mk3 og nye Focus RS og ST. Sistnevnte var ikke ute p\u00e5 banen mens jeg var der, men klubben stilte med flere str\u00f8kne utstillingsbiler. Jeg tror det har v\u00e6rt et godt Ford-milj\u00f8 i Drammen.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDet var kanskje Trond Scheas opptredener med Ford som gjorde at min f\u00f8rste bil faktisk ble Ford. En vanlig 70-modell Cortina mk2 med 1600 Kent-motor crossflow og 90 000 km p\u00e5 telleren. Etter kveldsskiftene, tok jeg lange omveier hjem og l\u00e6rte meg \u00e5 kjenne Cortina&#8217;en p\u00e5 svingete landeveier. Cortina&#8217;en var lett \u00e5 legge opp f\u00f8r svingene s\u00e5 jeg deretter kunne gi gass s\u00e5 grusen skvatt ut i skogen. Det ble en del mekking &#8211; p\u00e5 egen og andres biler, blant annet en 1600 GT. En stund tror jeg sikkert at jeg kunne demontere og remontere Kent-motorer i blinde. Ford m\u00e5 ha gjort noe riktig i forhold til \u00e5 vekke interessen for motorsport.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nMekke og kj\u00f8re &#8211; kjenner du deg igjen? Det \u00e5 kunne gj\u00f8re dette under ordnete forhold er nok en god grunn til \u00e5 melde seg inn i en motorklubb.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Eller kanskje man skulle ha tatt driftingen
