I \u00e5r har retromodellen 10 \u00e5r p\u00e5 baken, og det er kun gjort minimale endringer underveis. Forklaringen er enkel. Fiat 500 selger bare bedre og bedre. Du endrer ikke favoritthest s\u00e5 lenge den vinner l\u00f8pene.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Dagens Fiat 500 er et av de mest vellykkede bil-design &#8211; ever. Fjor\u00e5rets facelift var heldigvis av den milde sorten. Jeg konstaterer at &laquo;min&raquo; nye Fiat 500 har f\u00e5tt en ekstra horisontal kromlist i fronten og en ekstra grill mellom t\u00e5kelysene. Jeg ser ogs\u00e5 at kj\u00f8relysene foran er blitt st\u00f8rre og baklysene er endret. Innvendig er det kommet et infotainment-system med ber\u00f8ringsskjerm, som man forventer \u00e5 finne p\u00e5 nye biler. Panoramasoltaket gj\u00f8r at mye lys slipper inn i kupeen. Det gir god romf\u00f8lelse, men det digitale displayet inne i speedometeret blir vanskelig \u00e5 lese i skarpt sollys. Av og til umulig uten at man skygger med en h\u00e5nd.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nUtseendet p\u00e5 Fiat 500 oser klasse. Den passer naturlig inn over alt. P\u00e5 gaten med tagging p\u00e5 veggene, ved byens kaf\u00e9er mellom Vespaene, &#8211; s\u00e5 vel foran byens luksusvilla. Jeg innser at hun har rett. Du forventer ikke \u00e5 se en storvokst nordbo bak rattet. De fysiske innvendige m\u00e5lene er imidlertid helt OK for meg &#8211; som er 1,88 meter og har 46 i sko.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nHer nede er det langt st\u00f8rre andel av minibiler enn hjemme. Det skyldes hovedsaklig to ting &#8211; forsikringsregler som gj\u00f8r det praktisk umulig for unge sj\u00e5f\u00f8rer \u00e5 kj\u00f8re annet enn de aller minste bilene, samt at bygatene er trange. At en stor mann kj\u00f8rer liten bil, skaper ingen statusmessige negative holdninger fra medtrafikantene. Alle vet at en Fiat 500 gjerne kan komme fra familier med mer enn ett kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y, &#8211; kanskje til og med en Ferrari, eller noe s\u00e5nt.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nJeg noterer meg at f\u00f8rersetet gir god l\u00e5rst\u00f8tte n\u00e5r jeg jekker det ned i bakkant, som er eneste h\u00f8ydejusterings-mulighet. Jeg tenker at hvis du har kortere ben enn meg, kan du bli tvunget til \u00e5 sitte ganske h\u00f8yt &#8211; eller n\u00e6r rattet &#8211; for \u00e5 n\u00e5 pedalene. Rattet kan justeres i h\u00f8yden, men ikke i lengden. Har du korte ben og lang torso kan det kanskje bli vanskelig \u00e5 finne en god sittestilling, &#8211; men dette er kun spekulasjoner. <em>Jeg<\/em> sitter komfortabelt, men synes at pedalene, s\u00e6rlig clutch-pedalen, er dratt litt for mye mot h\u00f8yre. Interi\u00f8rfargene er knallt\u00f8ffe, med hvitt skinnratt, hvit midtkonsoll og innfellinger i dashbordet. Jeg liker ogs\u00e5 at interi\u00f8ret fanger opp bilens lakkfarge. Man kan ha solide betjeningshendler selv om bilen er liten. Fiat har forst\u00e5tt dette. Jeg skal likevel innr\u00f8mme at jeg ved et par anledninger har dratt i hendelen for <em>seteh\u00f8ydejusteringen<\/em> i stedet for h\u00e5ndbrekket. De to &laquo;hendlene&raquo; kan nemlig lett forveksles.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nFiat 500 kj\u00f8rer som en vanlig, moderne bil. Den var overraskende st\u00f8dig p\u00e5 motorvei. Jeg har kj\u00f8rt mye p\u00e5 fjellveier med humpete underlag, krappe svinger og bratte stigninger. Jeg har ikke funnet noe \u00e5 utsette p\u00e5 bilens evne til \u00e5 h\u00e5ndtere ulike underlag under ulike forhold. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Jeg kunne imidlertid \u00f8nsket meg en annen motor.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&laquo;Min&raquo; Fiat 500 har det enkleste motoralternativet, en 1,2 liters motor (SMPI VVT) p\u00e5 69 hester og dreiemoment p\u00e5 102 Nm\/3000 omdreininger. Motoren er hva den sier p\u00e5 papiret &#8211; hverken mer eller mindre. Den &laquo;lugget litt&raquo;  ved gassp\u00e5drag. Jeg tror det skyldes at bilen kun hadde 1000 km p\u00e5 telleren. En annen faktor er at aircondition&#8217;en trolig trakk en del krefter. Temperaturm\u00e5leren ligger p\u00e5 mellom 35-38 grader her akkurat n\u00e5.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nFor \u00e5 holde f\u00f8lge med de lokale sj\u00e5f\u00f8rene langs fjellveiene, kreves det aktiv bruk av gass og gir. 5-trinnskassa var lett \u00e5 jobbe med. Med h\u00f8ytplassert girspak trenger du nesten ikke slippe h\u00e5nden av rattet for \u00e5 gire. Men, i feriemodus, ble det til at vi heller valgte \u00e5 ta det rolig og vinket de lokale bilene forbi, som kvitterte med to korte st\u00f8t i hornet.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nI feriemodus er ikke 1,2 literen noe problem. Den er 4-sylindret og sv\u00e6rt stilleg\u00e5ende p\u00e5 sydlandske motorveier opp til 120 km\/t. F\u00f8rst mot 130 km\/t h\u00f8res motorsurringen svakt. Baksetet har plass til to. Faktisk overraskende god plass, siden man kan sitte ganske h\u00f8yreist i setene foran. To h\u00f8yvokste personer vil neppe sitte komfortabelt i samme lengderetning. Det kan man ikke forvente i tre og en halvmeters bil. Jeg er for \u00f8vrig positivt overrasket over bagasjerommet. Det rommer mer enn man skulle tro, men krever at man pakker smart. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Sikkerhet<\/h3>\n<p>Fiat 500 er testet av <a href=\"\/Users\/Terje\/AppData\/Local\/Microsoft\/Windows\/INetCache\/IE\/IIX6A9N5\/euroncap-2017-fiat-500-datasheet.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>NCAP<\/strong><\/a>. Resultatene er ikke p\u00e5 h\u00f8yde med konkurrenter som Volkswagen Up! og Citro\u00ebn C1. Fiat 500 straffes fordi b\u00e5de f\u00f8rerdukken og passasjerdukken fikk m\u00e5lt for kraftig retardasjon ved hodene. Selv om det alts\u00e5 ikke var fysiske skader p\u00e5 hodene, anser NCAP at det kan v\u00e6re fare for at menneskene inne i bilen vil kunne bli p\u00e5f\u00f8rt <em>innvendige<\/em> hodeskader. Ved sideveis kollisjonstest og sideveis mot stolpe fungerte alt bra.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">\u00d8konomi<\/h3>\n<p>Fiat 500 regnes som relativt kostbare biler for sin klasse. Den er produsert nesten uendret i 10 \u00e5r og holder verdien godt. Bedre enn de aller fleste \u00f8vrige biler p\u00e5 markedet. Det er kjent at Fiat opplevde negativt rennomme etter &laquo;De glade 80-\u00e5rene&raquo;. Det var konkurser i import\u00f8r- og forhandlernettverket, samt at bilene i denne perioden var beheftet med mange feil. Problemene ble forsterket p\u00e5 grunn av svikt i etterbehandling og oppf\u00f8lgning hos dav\u00e6rende import\u00f8r\/forhandler. Dette er sikkert noe din far gjerne forteller deg, mens han formanende advarer deg mot \u00e5 kj\u00f8pe Fiat. Dagens polskbygde Fiat 500 har vist seg \u00e5 fungere fint helt siden lanseringen i 2007 og 80-tallets Fiat-akt\u00f8rer f\u00f8lger ikke med p\u00e5 lasset, for \u00e5 si det s\u00e5nn.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nBensin\u00f8konomien er enn\u00e5 ikke m\u00e5lt ferdig, men med blandet kj\u00f8ring p\u00e5 fjellveier og motorveier, l\u00e5 v\u00e5rt forbuk p\u00e5 0,61 liter\/mil. Da har vi kj\u00f8rt \u00e9n tank. Jeg tror ikke det forbruket vil ruinere noen, men velger du TwinAir-motoren, f\u00e5r du et forbruk blant de aller beste. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Konklusjon<\/h3>\n<p>Fiat 500 passer inn over alt. Den har et fantastisk utseende. Jeg er positivt overrasket over plassen og komforten. Det er ingen problemer \u00e5 kj\u00f8re denne bilen i timevis p\u00e5 motorveien. Den testede 1,2-motoren f\u00f8res ikke lenger i Norge. Jeg har enn\u00e5 ikke testet den tosylindrede 0,9 liters TwinAir turbomotoren.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nJeg har kj\u00f8rt med &laquo;min&raquo; Fiat 500 noen dager i Syd-Europa, og skal bruke den mange dager til. Jeg kunne kanskje ha sagt at hvis du er mer enn gjennomsnittlig interessert i \u00e5 kj\u00f8re bil, er kanskje ikke Fiat 500 noe for deg, &#8211; i hvert fall ikke med 1,2-literen. Men det er ikke helt sant.
