Roadster-versjonen siden 2016. Da fikk alle GT&#8217;ene en facelift. Mest i\u00f8ynefallende er den aggressive Panamericana-grillen med vertikale ribber som br\u00f8ler &laquo;legg deg over til h\u00f8yre, din tulling!&raquo;. Dessuten fikk alle motorvariantene flere hester. Det er ikke lett \u00e5 holde oversikt over alle variantene. Coup\u00e9en &#8211; den med fast tak &#8211; finnes i tre utgaver: GT med 476 HK, GT S med 522 HK og GT R med 585 HK. Roadster&#8217;en tilbys som &laquo;vanlig&raquo; GT med 476 HK og GT C med 557 HK. Alle med 4 liters twin-turbo V8, s\u00e5kalt frontplassert midt-motor med 7 trinns AMG Speedshift dobbeltclutch automat. R\u00e5skinnet GT R skal angivelig v\u00e6re skapt for \u00e5 konkurrere med Porsche GTR.  Det som visuelt skiller GT C Roadster fra de andre GT&#8217;ene, er frontspoileren og sidespoilerne som p\u00e5 den avbildede bilen er forkrommet. Videre har GT C breddede bakskjermer for \u00e5 gi plass til st\u00f8rre og bredere bakhjul. Det er nemlig 20-tommere bak og 19-tommere foran. Sidespoilernes vinkling forsterker muskelpreget. Sammenlignet med forgjengeren, AMG SLS, har AMG laget et design som ser mer ut som superbil. SLS er en bra bil, men mangler superbil-looken. Superbiler skal ikke se ut som oppgraderte, vanlige biler. De skal <em>ikke<\/em> v\u00e6re anonyme. Om du har r\u00e5d til denne bilen, m\u00e5 du ta med eksoslyd-pakka. Jeg tror det er mer enn ren akkustikk. V8&#8217;en l\u00e5ter jo i utgangspunktet ganske bra, men den kan alts\u00e5 stilles slik at eksosen forsvinner raskere ut, litt mindre dempet. Nok til at det l\u00e5ter t\u00f8ft. Riktig t\u00f8ff lyd blir det hvis du ogs\u00e5 endrer motorstyringen til &laquo;Race&raquo;. Det er selvf\u00f8lgelig av mer teoretisk interesse. Utstyrslisten omfatter blant annet bakhjulsstyring. Dynamic Plus-pakke gir tilgang til &laquo;Race&raquo; innstillingen. Kalesjen felles ned p\u00e5 11 sekunder i fart opp til 50 km\/t. Den avbildede modellen hadde hvitt og sort skinninteri\u00f8r. Det passer bra til gr\u00e5fargen. AMG-felgene og de r\u00f8de bremse-caliperne skjemmer heller ikke. Prisene for GT C begynner p\u00e5 like over 2 millioner kroner. Utstillingsmodellen hadde tilleggsutstyr for nesten 300 000.
