Det gullfargede gliset passet den fargerike sirkusdirekt\u00f8ren godt. Like godt som den passet til fordums stjerner i Hollywood og oljesjeiker i Gulfen. I \u00e5ret 1972 ble det produsert 172 eksemplarer av denne flotte bilen, hvorav ett alts\u00e5 havnet i Norge takket v\u00e6re Arnardo.<\/p>\n<p>Mercedes-Benz W100 ble produsert mellom 1963-81 og ble aldri erstattet. Mange hevder at Maybach, tok opp arven flere \u00e5r senere. Det er jeg uenig i. Jeg vet ikke om denne bilen har norsk historie, men en slik bil, med automatgir og luftfj\u00e6ring som standard, ville sannsynligvis tilh\u00f8rt en skipsreder, eller noe s\u00e5nt. Hvis jeg skulle k\u00e5re de vakreste, tror jeg det m\u00e5tte bli Miura og dernest Espada, &#8211; begge fra de f\u00f8rste \u00e5rene i bilmerkets historie, og representert p\u00e5 utstillingen. Jeg fikk tatt noen bilder av Espada&#8217;en. Jeg har nok aldri st\u00e5tt s\u00e5 n\u00e6r en Espada noen gang. Det var en bil som prydet poster&#8217;e p\u00e5 gutterommet og som bilbladene p\u00e5 syttitallet skrev om, &#8211; men som sv\u00e6rt f\u00e5 noen sinne fikk se p\u00e5 n\u00e6rt hold.<\/p>\n<p>Lav midtlinje og store glassflater var tidstypisk. Med frontplassert motor og 4 seter var ikke Espada den t\u00f8ffeste bilen i klassen. Den kunne likevel sparke fra seg med 3,9 liters V12 og cirka 350 hester.<\/p>\n<p>Espada ble laget i 3 serier fra 1968 til konkursen i 1978. Den utstilte modellen er trolig en serie-II bil. Man kan se det p\u00e5 utformingen av dashbordet. Senere ble radioen flyttet i n\u00e6rmere rekkevidde for sj\u00e5f\u00f8ren. Ekstremt sjelden! Den ble bare bygget i 413 eksemplarer, og det sies at de ble bygget uten noen form for rustbeskyttelse, s\u00e5 flere eksemplarer har sikkert allerede blitt forvandlet til kjeks. <\/p>\n<p>Iso Grifo laget bare \u00e9n modell, basert p\u00e5 Chevy drivverk (5,4 V8), samt et nydelig karrosseri designet av Giugiaro mens han var hos Bertone, &#8211; et design jeg uten tvil vil plassere blant de 5 vakreste. Dette var faktisk f\u00f8rste gang jeg har sett en Iso Grifo med egne \u00f8yne. Det sl\u00e5r meg hvor klassisk og tidl\u00f8s denne bilen er.<\/p>\n<p>Jeg lurer p\u00e5 om det var flere enn meg som ble oppmerksom p\u00e5 dette flotte bilmerket f\u00f8rste gang gjennom lekebilenes verden. For de innvidde hadde b\u00e5de Corgi Toys og Matchbox Iso Grifo i modellprogrammet sitt, &#8211; og annonsene for disse ble lest med store \u00f8yne. Den avbildede modellen er trolig fra mellom 1949 og 1952. Da den har gamle svenske skilter, antar jeg at den ogs\u00e5 har svensk historie. Jeg tror ikke Tatraplan noen sinne ble importert til Norge. <\/p>\n<p>Dette er virkelig &laquo;Tilbake til fremtiden&raquo;-bilen. Den er ekstremt aerodynamisk for sin tid, og bringer tankene mot et romskip med sin lille &laquo;stabilisatorfinne&raquo; som vokser ut fra taket bakover over motordekselet. Jeg synes utstillingsbilen hadde tatt seg best ut med motordekselet lukket. Men p\u00e5 den annen side, &#8211; hvor ofte f\u00e5r man titte i motorrommet p\u00e5 en Tatraplan? Alminnelig 4-sylindret hekkmotor-l\u00f8sning, sikkert ikke ulik den vi etter hvert fikk se i senere Skoda MB. Men etterf\u00f8lgende Tatra&#8217;er &#8211; 603 &#8211; som ble bygget i kommunisttiden fikk luftavkj\u00f8lte V8-motorer plassert bak. Det var nok ikke bare til glede for partipampene. NSU Ro80 ble solgt i Norge gjennom NSU-forhandlerne, og jeg kan huske \u00e5 ha sett et par av dem p\u00e5 veien. <\/p>\n<p>N\u00e5r jeg ser den i utstillingslokalet, minnet den meg om en <a href=\"https:\/\/s1.cdn.autoevolution.com\/images\/gallery\/AUDI100-C4--750_3.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Audi 100 C4<\/strong><\/a> som jeg eide p\u00e5 90-tallet. Jeg ville trodd at samme designeren sto bak b\u00e5de Ro80 og C4, men det er i s\u00e5 fall ikke offisielt, selv om designeren bak Ro80 jobbet for Audi etter at de kj\u00f8pte NSU.<\/p>\n<p>Dessverre ble Ro80 kun kjent for sine motorproblemer. Wankelmotorene var nok ikke ordentlig testet f\u00f8r de ble satt i produksjon. Det sies at hver gang to Ro80-eiere m\u00f8tte hverandre p\u00e5 veien, viste de med fingrene antall ganger de hadde byttet motor. Problemet er imidlertid for lengst identifisert og fikset, slik at dagens Ro80-eiere neppe slipper \u00e5 holde opp fingre til hverandre. <\/p>\n<p>Det er synd at en s\u00e5 fin bil skulle ende i vanry. De to er totalt forskjellige. Coup\u00e9en har et typisk sent 70-tallspreg, og ser ut til \u00e5 v\u00e6re utviklet 10 \u00e5r etter sedanutgaven. Jeg har alltid v\u00e6rt fascinert av coup\u00e9utgaven, men har bare sett et par stykker i virkeligheten. I flere \u00e5r hadde Bilbladene &laquo;Motor&raquo; og &laquo;N\u00e5 bil-ekstra&raquo; helsides reklamer for Fiat 130 og 130 Coup\u00e9. Men p\u00e5 veien fantes alts\u00e5 ingen. I hvert fall ikke den vesentlig dyrere coup\u00e9en.<\/p>\n<p>Coup\u00e9en <em>har<\/em> enkelte likhetstrekk med sedanen, men ikke noe synlig. Ikke  ett stykke metallpl\u00e5t. Ingen ting av interi\u00f8ret. Pininfarina redesignet like godt hele bilen innenfra og ut. Det disse bilene har felles, er knyttet til understell, hjuloppheng og bremser. Motorene er forskjellige. Sedanen har en 2,9 liter mens coupeen har en 3,2 liter V6. Jeg har glemt hva bilene kostet p\u00e5 70-tallet, men coup\u00e9en var i alle fall veldig mye dyrere enn sedanen. Ikke merkelig, for det var en helt annen bil. Men faktum er at f\u00e5 her i landet v\u00e5get \u00e5 legge seri\u00f8se Porsche-penger i en Fiat. Jeg tror ikke Fiat greidde \u00e5 selge mer enn en h\u00e5ndfull. Kanskje ikke s\u00e5 mange engang.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00e5 de 6 \u00e5rene 130 coup\u00e9 var i produksjon, ble det p\u00e5 verdensbasis solgt 4 491 biler. Det er cirka dobbelt s\u00e5 mange som Lamborghini Espada solgte p\u00e5 samme tid. Sannsynligheten for at du skal m\u00f8te en 130 coup\u00e9 p\u00e5 veien er likevel svimlende liten.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Noen flere biler<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg tar med meg noen andre biler ogs\u00e5. De er ikke like sjeldne, &#8211; eller ikke sjeldne i det hele tatt. To av dem fant jeg som privatbiler utenfor p\u00e5 parkeringsplassen. Den ene er en Daihatsu Copen. Et morsomt navn som jeg husker fikk mye pepper i <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carmagazine.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>CAR Magazine<\/strong><\/a>. Var det et ordspill p\u00e5 &laquo;coup\u00e9&raquo; eller &laquo;Coup\u00e9 open&raquo;? Den minner litt om Ka cabriolet. Jeg tok bilde av bilen fordi den er veldig sjelden i Norge.
