Hvem som helst med pr\u00f8velampe kan feils\u00f8ke. Man burde vel egentlig forvente at <em>elektronikken<\/em> svikter f\u00f8rst, og ikke en mekanisk komponent, &#8211; som for eksempel det lille tannhjulet som surrer rundt nede i girkassa og produserer data til speedometeret. Jeg tenker p\u00e5 hva som ville skjedd hvis jeg hadde satt igjen den b\u00e6rbare PC\u2019en min fra slutten av 90-tallet inne i bilen. Jeg kjenner en kar som hadde en Volvo V70 som fikk problemer med elektronikken i automat-girkassa. Hele kassa ble byttet med en tilsvarende overhalt kasse. Prislapp 70\u00a0000, men ble heldigvis bare en garantisak for eieren. Jeg tenkte: Hvorfor byttet de ikke ut bare elektronikken? Forklaringen er vel at elektronikken ikke bare dreier seg om kretskort, men komponenter bygget inn i selve kassa.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nPoenget her er: Hva ville skjedd med V70\u2019en i dag? En 2005-modell med markedspris omkring 100\u00a0000 kroner? Ville det l\u00f8nne seg \u00e5 fikse elektronikkfeil i girkassa? En ting er sikkert: Ingen kan gj\u00f8re en slik jobb selv, selv ikke med tusen YouTube-videoer. Derfor ser det ut til \u00e5 ha utviklet seg en praksis \u00e5 dekke elektronikkfeil \u2013 og andre s\u00e5rbare komponenter \u2013 selv om garantitiden er utl\u00f8pt. Jeg vet at M\u00f8llerBil sender regningene til Tyskland, &#8211; ogs\u00e5 for piratimporterte biler. Jeg har ved flere anledninger dratt fordel av d\u00e9t. Toyota har tilsvarende avtale med sine fabrikker.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nMen ingen garanti dekker feil ved 10 \u00e5r gamle biler.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDet kan derfor bli slik at <em>bilbransjen<\/em> kommer til \u00e5 bestemme levetid p\u00e5 bilene v\u00e5re. Tenk deg at du har levert bilen din p\u00e5 verksted fordi den gule motorstyringslampa har begynt \u00e5 lyse, og du f\u00e5r beskjed om at programvaren i bilen din dessverre har g\u00e5tt ut p\u00e5 dato.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<em>-Vi st\u00f8tter ikke versjon 1 lenger, og din bil er dessverre ikke kompatibel med nyere versjoner &#8230;<\/em><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDa tenker jeg f\u00f8rst og fremst p\u00e5 den nyeste generasjonen av el-biler. Jeg har h\u00f8rt at hvis du lurer p\u00e5 \u00e5 kj\u00f8pe en brukt Nissan Leaf, m\u00e5 du for all del passe p\u00e5 at du f\u00e5r versjon 2. Versjon 1 kan ikke m\u00e5le seg med siste versjon. Det er nesten som mobiltelefoner. Trenger du en ny versjon, kj\u00f8per du like gjerne ny telefon. Volvo reklamerer at du f\u00e5r oppgradert programvaren din gratis mens bilen din er p\u00e5 service, og de kaller faktisk servicen sin for \u00ab2.0\u00bb. Det er fint. M\u00f8llerBil tar vel 2 000 for det.
