Ikke bare \u00e9n, men to. Jeg har alltid trodd at prosjektet strandet fordi gr\u00fcnderne tok seg vann over hodet, men Troll var som skapt for lav-serie produksjon og et gryende norsk bilmarked. Det var norske myndigheter som stanset prosjektet, visstnok p\u00e5 grunn av handelspolitiske grunner.<\/p>\n<p>For f\u00f8rste gang fikk jeg se Volkswagen type 81, &#8211; en sjelden varebilversjon, tilsynelatende basert p\u00e5 bobla. Etter hva jeg har greidd \u00e5 finne ut, ble bilen konstruert like etter krigen. Volkswagen brukte K\u00fcbelwagens understell og boblas frontparti. Baklyktene stammer fra T1 Transporter. Litt etter prinsippet <em>&laquo;man tager vad man haver&raquo;<\/em>. Jeg er sikker p\u00e5 at ingeni\u00f8rene som senere utviklet den f\u00f8rste Variant, m\u00e5 ha hatt Type 81 i tankene. I hvert fall ikke med automatkameraer. Belysningen gj\u00f8r at kameraene sliter med \u00e5 finne korrekt fokus. Derfor kommer jeg til \u00e5 vise biler som sto parkert p\u00e5 utsiden. Det var mye fint \u00e5 se der ogs\u00e5. Mange av bes\u00f8kerne hadde nemlig tatt turen p\u00e5 to hjul. Noen av de mest str\u00f8kne syklene tror jeg nok tilh\u00f8rte medlemmer av arrang\u00f8rklubben T\u00f8nsberg MC. Med sine panoramavinduer ser den amerikansk ut, men er britisk. Man ser at innvendig er det britisk skole som gjelder. Det var flere fine Amcars, ogs\u00e5. Noen kom og noen dro. Chevy Parkwood er ikke noe man ser hver dag. Denne 1959-modellen er Belair stasjonsvogn. Den har 3 benkerader, 2 forovervendt og \u00e9n bakovervendt. Jeg tror det er mulig \u00e5 stappe inn 9 mennesker i denne cruiseren.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Bevar vinyltaket!<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg stanser ogs\u00e5 ved denne 1969-modell Catalina&#8217;en. Denne er jeg sikker p\u00e5 at jeg har sett tidligere, men husker ikke hvor eller n\u00e5r. Jeg liker fargekombinasjonen, s\u00f8lv med sort vinyltak. Av egen erfaring vet jeg at under vinyltaket kan rusten lett komme til. Dette taket s\u00e5 ut til \u00e5 v\u00e6re lagt p\u00e5 nytt i nyere tid. Vinyltak var popul\u00e6rt ekstrautstyr p\u00e5 slutten av 60-\u00e5rene og helt frem til 1980, spesielt p\u00e5 amerikanske og amerikansk-inspirerte modeller som Ford og Opel, &#8211; og alle japsemodellene som ble solgt i USA. Jeg ser ingen comeback for vinyltak p\u00e5 nye biler, men h\u00e5per at gammelbileiere tar seg tid og r\u00e5d til \u00e5 erstatte eksisterende vinyltak.
